Caylee Anthony was a beautiful little girl, with big brown eyes that stole the heart of anyone who saw her. She was just two years old when she was reported missing by her grandmother Cindy Anthony, after her mother, Casey Anthony had been gone from the residence with her for over days.
Caylee was born to a young mother who by all accounts, hid the pregnancy for seven months, lied about the father of the child and ultimately was charged in her murder. Caylee’s grandparents took care of her both financially and physically, and although scrutinized in the media and by the public since her disappearance made national headlines, one thing that can be agreed upon is that they loved their grandchild more than anything in this world.
Caylee’s life was cut short on June 16, 2008 just two months before her third birthday. The entire nation prayed for the return of the little girl who supposedly was kidnapped by a fake Nanny, in a story made up by her mother. After numerous searches, Caylee’s remains were found December 11, 2008 bringing a six month search to a close and millions of people to grieve for a little girl most never met.
