Part Two of the Anthony Interview with Dr Phil

     He was good, he was real good. No tip to-ing around the questions, no excusing Cindy. In fact he again called her out on her making excuses for Casey. I absolutely loved that he had George alone for some time and just like the interview with the police in the beginning, he was the George we saw when this all started. Even at times during the interview when seated with Cindy he spoke his mind and although he did so while looking at her out of the corner of his eye, he did it. He said what he felt and what I want to know is: WHEN IS THE NEXT PART??

Part One of the Interview with Dr Phil

     I must say I was unexpectedly surprised that this interview seemed to hold my attention for the entire time. Dr Phil was not forgiving, did not tip toe around the Anthony’s and asked valid straight forward questions.

     Cindy Anthony to me is still unable to place the blame on Casey and came up with three different theories as to what has happened in Casey’s life to cause her to have involvement in Caylee’s death. I feel sorry for her actually, she has got to have a daily battle with herself that ranges between guilt, anger, sadness and wondering where it all went wrong. She did state that she has been in therapy for three years and I hope that she continues as eventually she will be able to heal and come to terms with what Casey did.

George Anthony is not making excuses, not giving Casey a break and although he believes that he should have pushed harder, his explanation of just coming back into the home, Casey not wanting him there, and trying to put his family back together show that he was fighting a battle all of his own.

     The fact that Cindy stated that Casey didn’t want George coming  back into the home said so much to me. Casey could manipulate Cindy and by George coming back into the home, that was going to end. George knew he hurt Cindy and the entire family obviously yet the decision to repair the marriage should not have been a family decision. Sadly I think Casey was allowed to talk to George any way she wished, and when she was questioned, told she was wrong, I think that she became belligerent and therefore George backed down.

     To hear Dr Phil ask them how they never saw any warning, their answer that nothing seemed out of the ordinary then but now looking back yes there were warnings is very believable. Furthermore I think that they were so consumed in repairing their own marriage that Casey was a second if not third priority. I believe Cindy when she says that if Caylee was not being taken care of she would not have hesitated to do something. I think Casey knew that and therefore put a great show on.

Today is the second part of the interview and in watching the preview I believe it is going to be more in depth and the questions are only going to  get harder… Stay tuned…

The Anthony’s Will Speak, The Media Will Bite, & The Cycle Will Continue…

They lost a Grandchild, they lost a daughter, they lost many family members along the way, they lost their privacy, they lost any respect society had for them, they lost trust, and eventually they lost the attention of the media. Until now…

Today Dr. Phil will sit down with George and Cindy Anthony. The tv and radio has been baiting the public with statements such as: ” There is no question Dr Phil is prohibited from asking, and he does” ” Hear what The Anthony’s have to say about the lies, rumors, accusations and for the first time Cindy reveals just how much she knew before Cayless’ disappearance went public”

First of all there are interviewers that refuse to be prohibited from asking a specific question. In fact most people can ask anything they like, it’s the answer that is the issue.

The Anthony’ s will address may topics, but it is my feeling that it will be more of the same with the exception of what they will say about the trial. Here’s what I think could be said regarding:

LIES:  Well there is no secret that their daughter lied and so they will say more of the same. They knew she lied about some stuff but never believed she would lie about Caylee.

RUMORS:  Depending on what rumor is asked about will depend on their response. BUT I am going to place this in a sub category under lies.

ACCUSATIONS: The accusation of sexual abuse: We all know it didn’t happen and know that George was hurt by it… what more is there to say? The accusation that George found Caylee and made Casey leave and bury her? We all know it didn’t happen and so what more is there to say? The accusation that Cindy committed perjury on the stand? She did, we all witnessed it, yet we excused it as she was at that point trying to save her daughters life. The accusation that Cindy knew more than she led on? Exactly what is it she is going to say? That she did? I don’t believe she did in fact know she was dead yet do we really think that if she did the Dr Phil Show is where she is going to reveal that? Highly unlikely

I imagine with the exception of maybe revealing their sadness at the injustice done to Caylee, their thoughts about their daughter now, and what their lives are like after the fact, it will be similar to every other interview given.

WILL I WATCH? Most definately, I have watched every other one so why not? 🙂

CASE CLOSED? WHAT AN INJUSTICE TO CAYLEE

What Were The Jurors Thinking?

     I have looked at the evidence with an open mind. I have listened to each witness testify. I have read every document released to the public. I didn’t think of the rumors or supposed facts that have not been proven. When the jury received their instructions I thought it would be days before they would announce that they had reached a verdict. When they came back after 11 hours of deliberation, with no questions for the judge, and without requesting to see any of the evidence, I was sure like most of America that the verdict was guilty. After the Not Guilty verdict on the first count I thought surely the other two counts had to be Guilty.

Casey Anthony will walk out of jail with a mere slap on the wrist. She lied to law enforcement. I still cannot believe that this is the best the jury could do. Without allowing anything I have previously read and written about to come into my mind, I still cannot put myself in that deliberation room and even lean toward not guilty.

When one juror began to give interviews I was shaking my head. He wasn’t even in deliberations yet was the first to speak. I found that quite amusing as he was being asked what his vote would have been. They may as well have asked me. Then juror #3 came out and again I am shaking my head. ” We don’t think she is innocent” What does that mean?  Now a few more have come forward and each has offered a little more insight into what went on in that room.

• The initial vote was 6-6
• While they do not believe she is innocent they do not think she acted alone.
• Without reviewing weeks and weeks of testimony they were able to come together and collectively decide that the evidence just didn’t show that Casey Anthony killed her daughter
• The jury foreman was sick to his stomach signing the papers for the verdict because he didn’t believe she was innocent and he didn’t want his signature on the paper with hers.
  
• The notebooks provided to them during the trial to jot down notes to refer to during deliberation were left on their chairs when deliberations began
• The second day of deliberations the entire jury came in dressed in suits and dresses. This tells me eleven hours wasn’t even necessary as they seemed to know that they would be ready to give their verdict that day.
  

     While I know our justice system is the greatest system, I am saddened that these 12 jurors seemed more concerned with getting back to their lives than achieving justice for Caylee. When jury selection was going on each potential juror was aware that they would be sequestered for a time frame of approximately two months. At that time they had the opportunity to let the judge know if it would create a hardship, or if it was something they could not do.

I am sure in the beginning they were intrigued to be called for this case. No matter how many of them stated that they knew nothing of this case, if you use a computer, read a newspaper or engage in conversation at work or in public, I would find it hard to believe that the names Casey Anthony or Caylee Anthony are names they never heard. One juror admitted that his wife followed the case in it’s entirety. With that statement I cannot believe that this man never heard anything about this case. Whether my husband wanted to hear it or not ( Most times not) he heard a lot about Casey, Caylee, George, Cindy, and Lee. Another juror stated that she could never pass judgement on another. When the prosecution tried to have her removed the judge refused. I don’t understand this as this to me screams “I don’t care what she did, I will never find that she is guilty.

In the aftermath of the verdict one juror has left her job stating that she was harassed constantly. Yet last night when being interviewed she stated that ” she is a scrappy girl and has no fear”

What I find amusing I guess is the fact that these jurors do not have to give their names, or talk to the media at all. The judge refused to reveal their names and  they were told that they have no obligation to reveal themselves. Yet one by one they are revealing themselves to the media. This to me seems like they are looking for their 15 minutes of fame.

What Lies Ahead for Casey Anthony?

     She has been found not guilty. She is free to walk away on Sunday. She can never be tried again for the murder of her daughter. She, according to the letter of the law is an everyday citizen like any of us. BUT:

• WHERE CAN CASEY GO WITHOUT BEING IN DANGER OF THOSE SEEKING VIGILANTE JUSTICE?
• HOW DO YOU RE BUILD A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR FAMILY AFTER THE CLAIMS AGAINST THEM THAT SHE MADE?
• EVEN THOUGH IT HAS BEEN SAID THAT SHE WILL BE LEAVING ORLANDO IMMEDIATELY, WHERE CAN SHE TRULY GO THAT SHE WILL NOT BE RECOGNIZED?
• WITH NO FORM OF INCOME HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR HER TO ACCEPT AN OFFER FROM THE MEDIA THAT WILL POTENTIALLY PAY HER THOUSANDS, AN OFFER FROM A PUBLISHER THAT COULD PAY HER MILLIONS, OR A PRODUCER THAT COULD EQUALLY PAY MILLIONS?

     Anyone who has followed this case knows that Casey never got tired of being in the media. Whether it was coming to and from the lawyers office with her big sunglasses, looking out the window of her home counting the media trucks or standing next to her lawyer tearing up when he described how hard this has been on her. Although she has been advised by her attorney and his team to not give interviews or consider any deals, I feel that the temptation of the money along with the fame is one Casey will not be able to resist for long.

HOW DO GEORGE AND CINDY ANTHONY HEAL?

     The Anthony’s have been many things to the public over the course of the last three years. At times we saw them as grieving grandparents, protective parents, and other times we saw them as two people who were intentionally obstructing the investigation. We saw them blatantly lie, scream to anyone who would listen that their daughter could not and would not do this to their grand daughter. They were combative at times, and yet in the end we saw them broken.

George and I spoke through email very briefly in the beginning and he was very likeable. He was a grandpa in every sense of the word. He was a cop who wanted to know what happened to his grand daughter. He was a father who didn’t want to believe his daughter could be responsible for something so horrifying and evil. I saw him as the only one in the family who was not making excuses, who wanted to find out the truth, and who wasn’t so sure of his daughters innocence. Then one day there he was standing next to Cindy who wasn’t so well liked by the public because it seemed she was doing anything possible to protect Casey. He was echoing all the things Cindy said and I sat in awe thinking what happened to him? Cindy was not well received by the public as she had no problem making excuses for Casey. It at times seemed like she knew what happened possibly and was covering for Casey. She contradicted herself many times and became very combative with the media, the public, law enforcement and anyone else who didn’t believe in Casey’s innocence. Lee in the beginning seemed to be the one who wanted answers. He didn’t coddle Casey as the rest of the family did, didn’t care if her feelings were hurt and for a moment I thought he would be the one who wouldn’t stop until he found Caylee. Then he disappeared. He no longer gave sound bytes to the media, and no longer was anywhere to be seen. The behavior of the entire family seemed so odd. It was hard to figure out who the players were at times. Then the trial began…

     Anyone with a heart felt for Cindy Anthony on that stand. She was truly broken. She at times could not hold it together when being questioned by the prosecution. When she was questioned by the defense and changed her story, I didn’t get angry. I saw a mother doing anything she can to save her daughters life.

When George Anthony was called to the stand initially and had to answer if he had molested his daughter, it was plain to see the pain and sadness he was going through. Here he was a man who lost his grand daughter and now the daughter he raised and was seemingly the one who wouldn’t put up with her bs, was accusing him of the worst thing a father could do to his child.  At first I was shocked that the Anthony’s could sit expressionless in the court room listening to Jose Baez accuse George of not only molesting his daughter but of being a part of the murder of his grand daughter. Then I realized that they were aware of the accusations for six weeks. What he must be going through I have no idea but how do you heal from that? How do you in the back of your mind know your daughter was willing to let you take the blame for the death of your grand daughter and excuse that behavior?

I cannot imagine the Anthony’s will open their door to their daughter the day she leaves jail. I cannot imagine that the attorney’s would allow it anyway. There is no perfect place for Casey Anthony to go but that house on Hopespring Drive is not a place that I think she should go near for a long time. Both for her safety and the safety of her parents.

I have tried to put myself in their position as far as having a child accuse you of terrible things not caring if you wound up convicted. I cannot imagine my child doing that and cannot imagine that if it was done we would heal in one day. I would think in order to repair the relationship there will be much therapy in order.

While I blame Casey solely for the death of Caylee, I do not blame her solely for her ability to lie or her ability to believe she does not need to be held accountable for it. She is a perfect example of not being taught cause and effect. Every action has a consequence and sadly Casey was allowed to be excused by Cindy time and again. A child who is pregnant and makes the decision that she wants to abort or put the baby up for adoption is telling you she is not ready for this responsibility nor is she wanting it. To be forced to have the child and raise it by an overbearing mother is just a recipe for hostility, resentment and friction. Nothing was ever going to be right unless her mother did it, she was never going to be the mother Cindy could to Caylee and despite it being said that she was a great mother, she did not want to be tied down day after day. While I do not excuse any of Casey’s behavior it is easy to see where it began when in connection to Caylee. Grandparents are amazing people but they are amazing because they don’t have to deal with all the things they did when they were parents. They get to be the fun people. But they work and have things to do, so they are not responsible for the day to day care and get to simply enjoy being with that child. I can see Casey resenting Cindy for refusing to allow her to have the freedom to come and go as she pleased and still stand by my opinion that Caylee was a pawn and was killed to destroy Cindy.

CAYLEE IS AT PEACE DESPITE THE VERDICT

 

 

     We live in a world that we want those who hurt children to be punished and the verdict of not guilty makes us question our justice system. However, we do not get the luxury of agreeing with our justice system when it works for us. Those of us who are saddened by the verdict do not have the right to take the law into our own hands and cause harm to Casey  Anthony. If someone attacks her they are no better than she . They still committed a crime even though they feel they were seeking justice for Caylee. There are many ways to turn that into a positive thing and get justice for Caylee. There are many organizations that seek support in many ways for the good of children who are and have been victimized in this world. If an entire country put that negative energy into positive energy, that would gain some justice for this little girl.

 

 

THE ANTHONY FAMILY NO LONGER SUPPORTING CASEY

     Today will be the 21st day of  the trial that will decide if Casey Anthony lives or dies. As my fellow bloggers know, I have not written near as much as I used to due to some medical issues, but I haven’t missed a thing during my absence.

    The first day of opening statements by the State were mostly what I had expected. A play by play of every day Casey had been “looking” for her child. The description of poor little Caylees remains when found to this day brings tears to my eyes. When the State was finished, all 31 days had been accounted for, every lie had been exposed, and as far as I am concerned, at that point the trial could have been over and the sentencing phase could have begun. However we have this “innocent until proven guilty thing going on in our country and so the defense must have their turn.

     For three years we have heard Jose Baez say that we will all understand once this case went to trial. The 31 days would be explained & every question would be answered. As the trial drew near we all heard that in the first minutes of the trial we would not only understand everything but find out that Casey was truly innocent.

     I expected everyone in the family to be thrown under the bus. What I didn’t expect was to hear Jose Baez say that Caylee died in the swimming pool on June 16th and immediately tie George Anthony to the reason Casey could act normal for 31 days.

     My problem with that theory is this:

•  If in fact George Anthony molested Casey from the time she was eight years old, was the one who found Caylee in the swimming pool, and was the one who instructed Casey to leave, then why was she on the jail house tapes (when alone with her father at the visit) telling him he had “been” {shows past tense} the best father and grandfather?

• While Baez stated that George Anthony said “LOOK WHAT YOU DID! YOUR MOTHER WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR THIS!”  What he didn’t explain was what George said and did following that statement. He alluded to alot of things such as trying to connect Kronk and George, or the fact that Casey could lie so well because she had learned to do so early on by disgustingly describing an 8 year old little girl with her fathers penis in her mouth before going to school.

• The biggest issue now is: The only people who are involved in the claims of sexual abuse and the drowning are George and Casey. Therefore, Casey will need to take the stand in order to make her story even halfway believable to the jury. (After both grandparents testimony I would have a hard time believing her story)

     MY THOUGHTS ON THE ANTHONY FAMILY ON THE STAND   

GEORGE ANTHONY:     

• I found his testimony to be unscripted and credible. Prior to him taking the stand I was so disappointed to see him change his way and become a supporter and make excuses for Casey.

• I commend him for being able to even be composed after sitting in that court room hearing Jose Baez say he was a child molester.

• I hurt for him when he was cross examined by Baez, yet cheered for him when he wouldnt allow him to mis construe his words.

• AS A WHOLE I FOUND HIS TESTIMONY TO BE THAT OF A GRANDFATHER WHO LOST HIS GRAND DAUGHTER AND A FATHER WHO REALIZED HIS DAUGHTER WAS EVIL.

CINDY ANTHONY:

• This was the woman I wanted to see for the past three years. She was a Grandmother first and foremost who even three years later grieves for her grand daughter.

• The most telling part of her testimony to me was when she was asked when did she stop looking for Zenaida (Nanny) and she replied six weeks ago. I only wish they could have elaborated on that and ask why?  I wonder if six weeks ago was when she realized that Casey was not only going to accuse her entire family of being a part of this and that Casey was pure evil.

As anyone who has read my previous blogs knows, I was not a fan of Cindy and even believed that she should at some point be charged with onstruction. However, during this trial I see a Grandmother who lost her grand daughter and a mother who may not only face losing her daughter also, but had to come to the realization that: THE DAUGHTER SHE RAISED WAS AND IS NOT WHO SHE BELIEVED HER TO BE. THAT SHE MOST LIKELY FEELS SO MUCH GUILT FOR NOT HAVING CAYLEE DROPPED AT HER JOB THAT DAY (althought I don’t believe that would have mattered, maybe just bought another day or two in Caylee’s life) THAT SHE SEES IN HINDSIGHT NOW THAT HER DAUGHTER WASN’T THE MOTHER SHE THOUGHT SHE WAS AND PROBABLY REGRETS EVERY MOMENT SHE STOOD UP FOR HER THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE INVESTIGATION.

LEE ANTHONY :

• I found Lee to be very much the same person he has been all along. He didn’t waiver from any previous statements he made nor did he seem to worry that his sister needed his protection.

• I have said many times that I was not a fan of his and wondered why he “checked out” when he at first seemed to be the one that was going to get the answers.

• I didn’t find anything during his testimony to be shocking or anything that has not been released prior to the trial.

MALLORY PARER:

• This is probably the first time I have seen her for any length of time. I think she seemed quite genuine.

• When she was asked what the relationship between Casey and Caylee was and broke down as she said “Amazing”, I truly felt for her. This poor girl hadn’t been part of this family for long before this all happened. Having recently had a child herself, I can only  imagine that as a mother she, like all of us normal mothers out there, cannot begin to comprehend how anyone can do this to a child.

 The impact that the family’s testimony will have on the jurors I believe could be just as important as the scientific evidence. If I was a juror I would be more interested in reviewing every word the family said before reviewing anything else. The family (in most cases) are the people who see one another when their guard is down, when one has the best and worst moments of their lives. To me were I a juror, I would think that the shift in the family support would be something that spoke volumes.

WHEN WILL THE DEFENSE STOP?

     It has been a long time since I have posted anything. I have been undergoing a lot of medical testing and that needed to take precedence over this. However, I have not stopped reading and following the case for a minute. The thing that makes me shake my head in disbelief still though is the fact that the defense is still asking for continuances, grasping at straws, and in true fashion, looking more in ept day by day.

     At some point someone has to say ” You know what? There are no volunteers who can truly say under oath that they did not see anything where Caylee’s body was found.” To this day I have not waivered in my belief of Tim  Miller stating that the search had to be called off because of water in the area and his concern for disrupting any evidence that could possibly be in the area. He could not have known at the time that Caylee’s body was there, he could not have known that the area in question would be the one last ditch attempt by the defense to prove Casey innocent. 

     These volunteers are all looking for their piece of the pie. Bottom line is this, they could very well have gone off on their own and searched the area, yet it was completely immersed in water at the time, so therefore, how can they say Caylee was not there? The one thing that doesn’t lie is science. The growth of vegetation through that poor baby’s body should be evidence enough. 

    I have never pretended to be a lawyer or affiliated in any way with the law. However, in reading the jail visit log, I am almost positive the defense is going to bring mental illness into the fore front of this case. Among the visitors at the jail there have been  three different psychologists. One is a psychologist  who specializes in therapy for sexually abused children ( Look out George, your princess is coming after you),  and one of the others spends her time assisting lawyers in pro bono cases.

     What I have yet to figure out is this: Is the strategy that Casey was in jail at the time of Caylee’s murder. or are we now going to try and put the mental illness on the table? I think Baez has been in over his head from day one and with every little motion, continuance, and statement he makes, it only further makes me believe that Casey is doomed…..

THE POTENTIAL JURORS HAVE SPOKEN…

    Two  batches of juror questionnaires were released this week. They were very interesting to say the least. There was a batch that was from December 15, 2008 just days after Caylees remains were found but not identified yet and the other was from November 2009. There was a vast difference in the amount of people who were questioned in that year span. In 2008 many people had opinions and in 2009 the amount of people who knew very little about the case outnumbered those who did.The following are the questions that were asked:

1. HAVE YOU SEEN OR HEARD THE NEWS REPORTS ABOUT CASEY ANTHONY?  

 2. IF YES, WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE CASE?

 3.HOW MUCH NEWS COVERAGE HAVE YOU SEEN?  

4. DO YOU KNOW WHO JOSE BAEZ IS?

5.WHAT ARE YOUR OPINIONS OF MR BAEZ?

There were alot of questionnaires and I took some of the excerpts from them to show the overall consensus on how the public views Baez. These answers relate to questions four and five. I am not surprised by alot of the responses.

2. JUROR#27~ ” LOOKING FOR NATIONAL RECOGNITION”
3. JUROR #71~ “FULL OF HIMSELF”
4. JUROR #261~ ” AN AMBULANCE CHASER”
5. JUROR #62~ ” NOT A GOOD LAWYER”
6. JUROR # 66~ ” HE SHOULD FIND ANOTHER LINE OF BUSINESS”
7. JUROR #183~ ” HE IS OUT TO BECOME FAMOUS”
8. JUROR # 91~ ” NOT CONFIDENT IN HIS JOB”
9. JUROR #83~ “SEEMS TO WANT AS MUCH MEDIA ATTENTION AS POSSIBLE TO BE SOMEBODY. HE KNOWS SHE IS NOT TELLING THE TRUTH THATS WHY SOME FOLK DO NOT TRUST LAWYERS” This is the last part of his statement which I thought was pretty funny: I HAVE NO COMMENT

So the overall consensus seems to be that either there is no opinion of him or a very negative opinion. I am sure that none of those posting negative thoughts would even be considered for the jury, yet when compared side by side just in these documents there weren’t many without a negative opinion.

I know that a 2 year old little baby is no longer on this earth because her mother did not want the responsibility. I know that Casey Anthony has proved to be a liar from the very beginning. I know that because Ms Anthony was never made to take responsibilty for anything in her life she appears to believe she will never have to pay for ending this little ones life. I know that she has stolen from her friends parents and grand parents, that she has used everyone in her life to get ahead, that she has no real emotion and has now apparently taken up acting while incarcerated, I know that her defense has continually stated that she is being tried in the media and yet they are making that happen. I know that she relishes the attention and feels to be somewhat of a celebrity.

 3.HOW MUCH NEWS COVERAGE HAVE YOU SEEN? 

I have seen all of the stories, new clips, interviews and internet information 

4. DO YOU KNOW WHO JOSE BAEZ IS?

Oh yes

5.WHAT ARE YOUR OPINIONS OF MR BAEZ?

I feel that Mr Baez is way in over his head and if her were truly a lawyer that cared about justice and his client he would have bowed out gracefully long ago. He is inexperienced and unprofessional. His lack of professionalism and knowledge has only hurt any chance that Casey Anthony has of walking out of that jail. He is sneaky, rude and at times quite immature. He does not seem to understand that this is not a game and that a womans life is at stake. He seems to not know what  he is doing and therefore does everything. He feels that the prosecution has a personal vendetta against Casey Anthony and plays on that. His supposed “dream team” that he has put together has made statements, accusations and claims that have done nothing to help this case. I believe he is looking for fame and believes his outlandish behavior will buy him that.

I wonder why the focus of the questionnaire seemed to be on Baez? I thought this case was about Casey Anthony? Here would be my questions if I were the attorney interviewing possible jurors.

5. DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE DEATH PENALTY?
6. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN?
7. WHAT IS A FAIR PUNISHMENT FOR SOMEONE WHO COMMTS A CRIME AGAINST A CHILD  IN YOUR OPINION?

That is all for today… I think it would be interesting for everyone who comments here to take the questionnaire given by the defense and post it in the comments. Then we can send them in and perhaps one of us willbe chosen to sit in the courtroom…:) 

CASEY SENDS AMY A MESSAGE, BUT IS IT JUST ANOTHER TACTIC FOR THE DEFENSE?

     It took over a year for Amy Hunzeinga to have Casey Anthony be held accountable for stealing her money. I imagine for Amy it is not the money as much as it is the hurtful realization that someone who you thought was such a good friend turned out to be someone you didn’t even know. I experienced something similar in my own life and although my best friend ( or at least I thought she was) didn’t kill anyone, it is absolutely heart wrenching to have to come to the realization that everything we shared was a lie, and that I never really knew this person with whom I had been joined at the hip for 9 years.

   Casey was given an opportunity to address Amy and did so in a small, tear filled voice. She stated that she was sorry and wished she could have been a better friend. Her voice cracked and there appeared to be tears. However, this new side of Casey leads me to believe that Andrea Lyon is continuing to try and “humanize” her client.Is Casey truly sorry for what she did to Amy, or is she truly sorry that she got caught? While I think alot of things Casey has done, including the murder of her daughter were not well planned out acts, I cannot help but wonder if she was crying out for help when she was stealing Amy’s money? I mean she had to know that it would be a matter of a couple of weeks at most before her friend would know she drained her account. Or perhaps if we take into account the theory that she was planning on going to California to see Mark Hawkins then she would never have had to face her friend.

     The punishment Casey faces now for the use of Amy’s identity is not so bad in actuality. She has credit for time served, probation should she get out of jail. Of course we know that she won’t so that is a mute point. Since the money has already been paid back, she will have to pay the court fees and the fees associated with the investigation into the checks. I also read that a probation officer will visit her in jail although I have to admit I don’t really understand the point of this. Yet I don’t pretend to know the jail system.

     My question is how is Casey supposed to pay the fees incurred? Should she ever get any royalties for anything associated with Caylee would the court have the right to take those royalties until her debt has been paid?

     Jose Baez of course went right to the media immediately following the hearing and again I must point out that nobody from the State was present in any media interviews that day. Of course Baez continues to say that the case is being tried in the media and yet all he has to do is keep walking when they are heading his way.

     So, is this the new Casey Anthony? Is she truly beginning to realize the seriousness of her actions? I try and give the benefit of the doubt in every situation and yet I cannot. I continue to see the cocky, angry girl we saw in July 2008 and continued to see until December 2009. In one whispered sentence she was transformed into an emotional wreck.The public was supposed to believe that this woman who has been deemed everything from a psychopath to a spoiled brat, has miraculously become a grief stricken mother who has lost her child. Where was that grief when Caylee was gone for thirty one days? Where was that grief when LE had everything at her disposal in order to locate her child? Where was that grief when she screamed at her parents that she was the victim?

     If I were just discovering this case perhaps I could see that maybe just maybe there is an expanation for all of this and Casey couldn’t possibly have committed this crime. However, I am not and cannot look at her as anything more than a cold hearted woman who did not ever deserve that beautiful child nor did she ever deserve the title “Mother”

AS THE CLOCK TICKS MANY BLOGS DEFEND CASEY ANTHONY… BUT WHERE ARE THE FACTS?

     January 25th is the first time Casey Anthony will stand trial for one of her crimes. I along with others have followed this case from the very beginning starting with the day Caylee’s face was shown on every new station. I along with others have studied the facts, the theories, interviews, countless documents and forensic evidence. Casey Anthony is a woman who did the unthinkable and a woman who seems to believe that she is above any law, rule or punishment.

     In the first few months of the investigation there would be a commenter here and there discounting any evidence against Casey. Some would come right in and say the blogger was wrong, others would lurk for a while disguising themselves as truly interested in the facts and then begin attacking other commenters or blogs. However, as time gets closer to Casey standing trial the nay sayers are coming out in full force. I am not sure if they believe they will sway the entire public because they believe Casey has been framed, or perhaps they feel as strongly about her innocence as I do of her guilt. The one thing that none of these supporters produce in their constant bashing and arguing are facts. When I ask for facts on one of their sites, I am either ignored or the usual talking in circles saying nothing.

     One of my fellow bloggers is being attacked horribly and has made mention of possibly closing her blog. This to me is giving them exactly what they want. She like many of those who are on my blogroll is a great investigative reporter. She gives the facts and looks at all angles. Yet a few people are accusing her of being ten different bloggers, lying and so on. This is absolute childish behavior and goes right along with those who bully others on the internet. So here is my challenge to them: Instead of following others around calling them names, discrediting their work and claiming they are ling, why not show us all how the facts you have show Casey’s innocence? If you are able to back up your opinions and theories with factual evidence then perhaps people will take a moment to listen. I will agree that we all at one time have said something derragatory against Casey or her parents or the entire defense team, but we have facts to support that and we also have a passion for this case. I am going to pose some questions here to the naysayers and welcome them to answer them for me . I love to read everyones opinions on this case when they are accompanied with logical and factual statements. So here we go, let’s see if you can make me ( who knows anyone out there could be a potential juror) question my own belief that Casey Anthony is the right person standing trial for this crime:

2: WHY WOULD CASEY ANTHONY TAKE LE ON A WILD GOOSE CHASE TO PLACES SHE DID NOT WORK, APARTMENTS THAT WERE VACANT, AND LIE ABOUT BEING EMPLOYED?

3: WHY WOULD CASEY ANTHONY ABANDON HER CAR LEAVING A PURSE AND CAYLEES CAR SEAT WITH THE DOORS UNLOCKED?

4: WHY WOULD CASEY ANTHONY GIVE TWO DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS OF THE ACTUAL KIDNAPPING?

5: WHY WOULD CASEY ANTHONY REFUSE TOASSIST IN HELPING LOCATE CAYLEE?

6: WHY WOULD CASEY ANTHONY BE ON FACEBOOK TALKING TO VARIOUS MEN WHEN HER DAUGHTER WAS MISSING?

7:WHY WOULD CASEY ANTHONY CONTINUE ON FOR THIRTY ONE DAYS LUNCHING, PARTYING, WATCHING MOVIES AND TELL THE SAME LIE TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY?

8: HOW COULD CASEY ANTHONY LEAD A NORMAL LIFE DAY TO DAY IF SHE WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT HER DAUGHTERS SAFETY?

9: WHY WOULD CASEY ANTHONY TELL LIE AFTER LIE ABOUT HER PARENTS, DAUGHTER, FRIENDS, CAR SMELL AND SO ON?

10: WHY WOULD CASEY ANTHONY ONLY CRY WHEN IT WAS ABOUT HER AND NOT HER DAUGHTER?

11: WHY WOULD CASEY ANTHONY SIT IN JAIL FOR OVER A YEAR WITHOUT FIGHTING ANYONE AND EVERYONE IF SHE WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS CRIME?

12: WHY WOULD ITEMS FROM THE HOUSE BE WHAT CAYLEE WAS ULTIMATELY FOUND WRAPPED IN?

13: WHY WOULD CASEY ANTHONY NOT TELL HER CLOSEST FRIENDS THAT SHE CAN’T FIND HER DAUGHTER?

14: WHY WOULD CASEY ANTHONY NEED SEDATIVES AND WANT THE TAPE TO HER REACTION BLOCKED WHEN CAYLEES BODY WAS FOUND?

15: WHY WOULD CASEY ANTHONY HAVE DECOMPOSITION IN HER TRUNK?

     Those are the first fifteen, and if someone can give a great argument that shows anything other than my beliefs then I am willing to pose more. I wil be anxiously awaiting the answers….

ARE WE OUT OF MOTIONS YET?

     “Aren’t you asking me to reinvent the wheel?” Judge Strickland questioned.

     That statement by Judge Strickland was as close to an explanation he was going to give regarding the latest set of motions by Casey Anthony’s defense team. Casey Anthony will face all of the charges for cashing checks. In my opinion she is lucky there are only nine counts. If her grandmother and her own mother added their losses to her spending spree she would be facing more than that. She didn’t have any concern for anyone or anything while she was draining others bank accounts for over a year so why should she be shown any sympathy?

     I have long assumed that the defense is attempting to get all other charges dismissed or delayed so their client can begin her murder trial with no record of prior convictions, yet I believe come the end of January 2010 Miss Casey will have a record.

     Strickland also denied the motion to destroy the videos of Casey Anthony while she visits with her attorney and family. This was a longshot to say the least. Everyone is videotaped in the jail and yet in true Casey fashion we are  to believe that she deserves to be above that? Not so much. It has long been argued that the entire Anthony family seems to believe they do not have to follow the rules, so of course Casey wouldn’t think she would have to follow the rules of the correctional system. Yet what exactly is it that she believes she has done to deserve special treatment? While I do believe that she revels a bit in her “celebrity” status, sadly she doesn’t seem to realize that the notariety she has received is not from doing something great,not for  aiding the world in any way, and certainly not for  being a positive role model for young girls. Casey Anthony has grabbed the attention of this world because she killed her own daughter. She did the unthinkable, the unimaginable, and the unforgivable. Furthermore, she refused and still refuses to aid in any way in the investigation, yet maintains her innocence. However, her actions, the evidence and reports say otherwise.

    Any mother who is like most mothers knows what it is like to carry a child for nine months and have that child placed in your arms the moment they enter this great big world. There are not enough words to describe that feeling, there is no other love that compares. No marriage, relationship or family love is even able to be measured against it. The day that most mothers become mothers, the only one sure thing in this life is that they will protect that child at any cost.

     Yet Casey Anthony isn’t like most mothers. She never grasped the beauty of these miraculous little creatures that we are given, never understood what a gift they are, never realized that she was given the opportunity to do something greater than any accomplishment in this life. Raise a child, teach a child, love a child and receive that unconditional love that children give to us without question.

    The biggest motion of interest of course was taking the death penalty charge away. I didn’t believe for one minute that Strickland would allow it, and after Ashtons theory of Caylees final moments, I was more certain than ever that yes she deserves the death penalty. Strickland ruled that she will face the death penalty as her possible sentence and again further verified for me that the right person is being held accountable. Possibly for the first time in her life.

     I am unable to come to a decision as far as figuring out the defense attorneys. Are they that unskilled? Are they that pompus that they think they will out talk the state and get their way if they file a hundred thousand motions? Do they really know what they are doing? Do they see what I see? A case that is falling apart before their eyes and most is due to their own inconsitancies? In the very beginning of this case they put themselves in a corner with the “Nanny” theory and when they backtracked and began to insinutate that Roy Kronk could have killed Caylee, they did nothing more than make themselves appear inept. Andrea Lyon dug her hole in her released audio and though she will not comment on it, anyone who heard it and could be a potential juror will go into this case with a picture of her that is not very becoming. Sure they can be instructed to disregard it , but can you really?  It was said long ago that by announcing the “Nanny” theory they hung themselves, that they would have to stick to that strategy or risk the entire case. I hope Casey Anthoy understands…. They risked the entire case, therefore risking her life. Does she understand that their claims have never been backed up, that their supposed problem with this case being tried in the media is mostly their own doing? The state doesn’t do interviews, press conferences and so on. The state is waiting to try their case and after the little glimpse we have been given by Ashton, I would say the defense should be very worried.

    Judge Strickland also ruled in favor of the prosecution intheir motion to seal the record of the illegal recording from the Equisearch volunteer. He apparently gave two different accounts of his ‘search” for Caylee. I truthfully didn’t even think about this motion as I really didn’t believe the stories fromt hese volunteers. There is still no way that they all of a sudden remembered being  right there. Tim Miller is a respected man and has been forthcoming during his search, specifically when he stated that he was unable to search that area due to the water. To say that he lied is to say that a year and a half ago he knew Caylee would have been there, or that he knew someone was going to put her there after Casey was incarcerated… Doesn’t add up to me.

     George and Cindy were on the “Today” show again and in no shocking surprise maintain their support for Casey. In George’s own words: “I don’t believe my daughter could hurt anyone, I really don’t believe that. I don’t believe Cindy and I could bring someone into this world who would want to hurt somebody, especially their own daughter,”  Cindy also commented stating: “I can’t accept what I’ve been told, because I don’t believe they’ve done a full investigation, and I would like them to continue to do so. There’s a lot of evidence out there that has not been looked into,”

    I beleive wholeheartedly that what they are saying is indeed how they feel. How can they believe that their own daughter is capable of this? How can they begin to process that and not have a mental breakdown? I have never personally been in this situation or anything remotely close to this situation, and yet I assume that if Ihad to look at one of my sons as being a cold calculated murderer, much less as the one who murdered his own child, my grandchild, my mind would take me to place I would never want to be. Cindy claiming that a full investigation has never been done helps her not come to that conclusion. Just as the defense is trying to cast doubt in the minds of potential jurors, they have been able to cast doubt in Cindys mind. If she believes that Casey is a target of a personal attack by law enforcement then she has an explanation as to why her daughter is behind bars, why the investigation stopped and why nobody else is being arrested. This theory allows her to hold on to that hope that Casey could not have done this. It also allows her to not put the guilt on herself for not holding her accountable as a child for anything, for fixing her mistakes, and for forcing her to be a mother.

     What they don’t seem to see about their daughter is that she was willing to take anyone down with her that she could. Claims that her brother sexually molested her and those claims led to him being forced to take a lie detector test and DNA tests done to exclude him from possibly being the father of Caylee. Claims that her mother tried to make Caylee call her mommy instead of Casey, claims that her father (although in a round about way) also molested her. They fail to see that the next people who the defense may raise suspicion on is them. In a way they already have, stating that while those searches on the computer are fact, it doesn’t make Casey the one who did them. It only states that someone in that house searched those things and she was not the only one who used the computer. These are the things they need to pay attention to. The evidence is not their job, the investigators obviously have all they need. Andrea Lyon claims that the state is seeking the death penalty in a way to either get a more bised jury or to make Casey cop to a plea deal. However last time I checked Casey hasn’t been offered a deal. If the state didn’t have solid evidence and testimony to back that evidence up, the death penalty would have never come back. Furthermore, they don’t need a deal, they have what they need. The rest is just details….. 

 

REAL EMOTION OR ANOTHER ATTEMPT TO HUMANIZE CASEY ANTHONY?

 

“As the killer looked into her face, maybe her killer even saw her eyes  as the tape was applied,” prosecutor Jeff Aston said during the hearing, which ended at 11:45 a.m. “First one piece, then two, then three so no breath was possible.Could Caylee have understood what was happening to her? Did she try to resist? Could her killer see the fear in her eyes as the tape was applied? These are questions only the jurors will be able to answer in this case. One thing we do know this is this. If we have gotten to this stage, those same jurors have already decided that the face that Caylee Anthony saw in those final moments of her mother — of her life was her mother`s face. “

                                                                                                                                

 

Those were the chilling words that brought Casey Anthony to tears. Or did they? What I saw was seething anger as Jeff Ashton described what could have been Caylees last moments on this earth. There were no tears until Casey’s attorney whispered something to her. Then the tears (or the show) began. However if you watched closely there was body movement similar to one sobbing, there was wiping of the eyes, yet there also was Casey looking at the tissue with every dab of her eyes.

I don’t buy the sudden breakdown of Casey. Baez accused the prosecution of playing to the cameras, yet I believe that is exactly what Casey was instructed to do in that whispered moment. She was her usual disconnected self until the whisper and then had the break down.Andrea Lyons own words keep coming back to me: HUMANIZE YOUR CLIENT…  Casey is also heard saying ” Tell him to stop” with Lyons respondng “I cant, he’s almost done”. I am sure she wanted it to stop, but then I am sure she never thought she would be here. According to Richard Hornsby when asked about the comment made by Baez he responded: “Jeff Ashton was saying we don’t have anything to hide. Come and get us,”

Andrea Lyons argued that the state has no grounds to seek the death penalty and that they are doing so in an effort to obtain a more biased jury. Yet Ashton pointed out that any case in the state of Florida in which the defendant is charged with first degree murder is eligible for the death penalty. He went on to say that it is not the state who decides if the defendant will be sentenced to death but a jury and ultimately a judge. Lyons went on to argue that there is no evidence that the duct tape had anything to do with the childs murder. Really? Well I guess in all honesty can we say Caylees murder was a result of duct tape? No, but the fact that there was not one, not two but three pieces of duct tape applied to this baby’s mouth and nose shows that whoever (imo Casey) wanted to make sure that it would be impossible for the tape to be removed.  Now a while back I speculated that perhaps the tape was applied after her death in order to make it look like the child was kidnapped, but either way it is there, it is cruel and it only points to one person.

I was wondering when the words of Andrea Lyons would come back to haunt her and they did today as Ashton described what was said in her own words regarding her thoughts on a jury and judge. She did not of course defend this but how could she?  

While the motion was of course not ruled on, I do believe the state will win this one. The defense continues to try and make it as though there is a personal vendetta against Casey Anthony and should spend more time figuring out how in fact they are going to get her out of this one. With each motion filed and each hearing they attend, they look like a bunch of bumbling idiots and not the schooled lawyers I would expect to see.

George and Cindy Anthony were seen leaving the court room after the description given by Ashton and  according to their attorney Brad Conway they were in shock and did not expect to hear this. Have they waivered a little in their thinking though? Brad Conways statement to an  In Session reporter said alot to me:

VINNIE POLITAN, “IN SESSION”: As we sit here today, are they convinced that their daughter is not responsible for this?

BRAD CONWAY, ATTORNEY FOR GEORGE AND CINDY ANTHONY: You know, honestly, they don`t know. There are so many questions that they wanted answers to for the longest time, and they don`t know what happened. They simply don`t know.

I am sure it was not easy to sit and listen to a scenario of how their grand daughter was possibly  killed. There are other blogs that are ripping Cindy apart for being dramatic as she leaned against the wall waiting for the elevator. I didn’t see that at all. I saw her trying to escape the cameras and trying to hold it all in so as not to break down in front of them and be all over the 6oclock news. People commented on how haggard she looks. Frankly, that is just hateful and bashing her for no other reason than to bash her. So I ask you? Would you look haggard if this had been your life for the last year and a half? As I have stated I think they did alot of things wrong throuh out this entire case yet again, walk the mile and then talk to me. They had to hear some pretty awful things about their grand daughter and the daughter who is accused of murdering her.  However, we are only in the pre trial phases and I think there will be much more gruesome accounts, speculations and facts that are going to be addressed once the trial starts. Unfortunately and quite possibly fortunately I think the Anthony’s are going to have to realize that perhaps their daughter is not the person they thought she was. It will be a harsh reality and one that may take quite a toll on them. That is unless of course they continue to deny that she is incapable of doing this crime. As I continue to state I have never walked their mile and maybe they truly cannot begin to fathom any part of this horrific crime could have been committed by their own daughter. Maybe to have to realize this is something that could cause them severe mental  anguish and so it is better to continue believing in her.

Jose Baez gave a short press conference after court, and was his usual self. He bit at Kathy Belich as usual and showed his complete dislike for her. At one point he told her she was living in fairyland.

How difficult it was on your client to have to sit there and listen to — how difficult was it for your client to listen to that being portrayed? Played out?

JOSE BAEZ, ATTORNEY FOR CASEY ANTHONY: It`s extremely difficult, and it would be difficult for anybody, whether it`s your child or even — even a stranger`s child. Everyone knows that the death of a child is obviously a horrible thing, and it would be difficult for anybody to listen to.

BELICH: Even if she was there when it happened?

BAEZ: I`m sorry. She wasn`t there, so you`re — again, I guess in fairyland.

He refused to answer questions about Andrea Lyons leaked video that has shown her in a very different light. Claiming that she is superior and a genious and that the other court officers are basically beneath her. Jose Baez walked off refusing to answer the question and in true Kathy fashion she didn’t let up and continued to follow them. At one point Andrea Lyons apparently elbowed her and she made reference to it on camera.

Jane Velez Mitchell covered the hearing and the aftermath surrounding it. Dr. Dale Archer is a psychiatrist that has no affiliation with Casey Anthony, yet had this to say regarding her sobbing in court.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Dr. Dale Archer, you`re the psychiatrist. Casey Anthony has made many, many court appearances. Why burst into hysterical sobs and shudders at this hearing?

DR. DALE ARCHER, PSYCHIATRIST: Well, first of all, we`re looking at an anniversary reaction, because it was one year ago today, and oftentimes an anniversary can bring the emotions back very fresh.

But to me, from looking at this, I think this is a case of a guilty conscious, I really do. And I think it is hitting home to her right now what has happened and what she has done, and is just — she is just distraught about that.

I think that this was one of the more emotional hearings thus far as it brought more than evidence. Today the court was actually introduced to Caylee Anthony, the little 2 year old girl who is what this trial is supposed to be about. Ashtons words were chilling and if you didn’t get emotional listening to them then you are stronger than I am. For over a year now we have wanted Caylee to be the focus of this trial and with all the evidence, reports,testimony and so on, not once did I feel like Caylee was being brought front and center. Until today…
 

CASEY ANTHONY, MELISSA HUCKABY, SHANIYA DAVIS AND HALEIGH CUMMINGS… WHAT’S GOING ON

   THERE HAS BEEN NO “BIG” NEWS IN THE CASEY ANTHONY CASE, BUT THERE HAS BEEN A FEW LITTLE THINGS WORTH MENTIONING. DECEMBER 11TH MARKS THE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY THAT LITTLE CAYLEE’S REMAINS WERE DISCOVERED IN THE WOODS SO CLOSE TO THE ANTHONY HOME. IRONICALLY DECEMBER 11TH ALSO IS THE DATE THAT CASEY ANTHONY WILL BE IN COURT AGAIN. NOT SURPRISING TO ANYONE IT IS AGAIN TO HEAR MORE AND MORE MOTIONS FROM THE DEFENSE. I DO NOT CLAIM TO HAVE ANY LAW BACKGROUND WHATSOEVER, AND I HAVE HEARD THAT THIS IS ALL PRETTY STANDARD PROCEDURE. BUT… CAN YOU EVER RUN OUT OF MOTIONS TO FILE? IT SEEMS AS THOUGH THEY GRASP AT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING POSSIBLE. I REALIZE IT IS THEIR JOB TO DEFEND THEIR CLIENT YET IT SEEMS TO ME THAT ALOT OF THESE MOTIONS SEEM REPETATIVE AND ARE JUST WORDED DIFFERENTLY.

THE STATE FILED THEIR ANSWER TO THE MOTION FROM THE DEFENSE REGARDING THE CHECK FRAUD CHARGES. THE DEFENSE IS CLAIMING DOUBLE JEOPARDY, STATING THAT SHE IS BEING CHARGED WITH THE SAME CRIME MULTIPLE TIMES.       (side note: We are currently going through this very thing with our little old man neighbor next door. His daughter has stolen thousands from him, prescription pills, guns, jewelry and anything else of value. A warrant was issued for her arrest and we are currently waiting to hear when we will be taking him to the hearing. The bank and the detectives advised us that it is more beneficial to him that they press charges on each check individually as opposed to the entire dollar amount. This ensures that she will be held accountable and gives a greater chance of her being sentenced instead of put on probation)

THE STATE HAS ANSWERED THAT THEY FEEL THE JUDGE SHOULD SORT OUT THE CHARGES AFTER THE TRIAL WHEN ALL OF THE EVIDENCE IS HEARD. ROY KRONK IS ANOTHER ISSUE AND I HOPE STRICKLAND JUST THROWS THIS OUT. I ACTUALLY HOPE HE GIVES A GOOD EYE ROLLING OR BIG SIGH WHEN THIS ONE IS ADDRESSED. IF I WERE STRICKLAND I GUESS MY QUESTION WOULD BE “WELL WHAT HAPPENED TO THE NANNY?”

THE TRIAL FOR MELISSA HUCKABY IS SLATED TO BEGIN ON OCTOBER 18TH 2010. THERE IS A PRE TRIAL HEARING SCHEDULED FOR FEBRUARY TO QUESTION EVIDENCE I BELIEVE. MELISSA HUCKABY IS ACCUSED OF ABDUCTING, RAPING AND THEN MURDERING SANDRA CANTU. SHE WAS EIGHT YEARS OLD AND HUCKABY WAS ONE OF HER PLAYMATES MOTHERS. IT IS SAID THAT HUCKABY DISPOSED OF HER BY PUTTING HER IN A SUITCASE AND THROWING HER IN A DRAINAGE DITCH.

SHANIYA DAVIS NEWS

FIVE YEAR OLD SHANIYA DAVIS WAS REPORTED MISSING BY HER MOTHER WHO HAD ONLY TAKEN CUSTODY OF HER 4 WEEKS PRIOR. ON NOVEMBER 10TH ANTIONETTE DAVIS CALLED POLICE TO REPORT THAT HER DAUGHTER WAS MISSING AND THE DOOR WAS UNLOCKED. SHE STATED MANY TIMES DURING THAT CALL THAT SHE KNEW HOW TO UNLOCK THE DOOR. 

NOVEMBER 16TH HER LITTLE BODY WAS FOUND NOT FAR OFF A MAIN ROAD. PRELIMINARY AUTOPSY REPORTS SHOW THAT SHE DIED OF ASPHYXIATION. MARIO ANDRETTE MC NEILL WAS ARRESTED ON CHARGES OF :1ST DEGREE MURDER, 1ST DEGREE RAPE OF A CHILD, 1ST DEGREE KIDNAPPING. SADLY, THIS MONSTER WAS GRANTED ACCESS TO HER BY HER OWN MOTHER ANTIONETTE DAVIS. SHE HAD NOT BEEN IN THIS CHILDS LIFE UNTIL FOUR WEEKS BEFORE SHE HANDED HER OVER TO THIS MAN FOR WHAT IS SAID TO BE A PAYMENT FOR HER DRUG DEBT. SHE IS CURRENTLY BEING HELD ON THE FOLLOWING CHARGES: HUMAN TRAFFICKING, FELONY CHILD ABUSE, FELONY CHILD PROSTITUTION, FALSIFYING A POLICE REORT, OBSTRUCTING A POLICE INVESTIGATION.

WAIT A MINUTE… NOW THERE IS NO NANNY?

     For over a year now the defense attorney for Casey Anthony has stood by her story of a Nanny taking Caylee. Through the arrests, searches, murder indictment and every ridiculous motion the one thing that remained unchanged was that Zenaida Fernadez Gonzales is who took Caylee Marie Anthony and that is who should pay for this crime. Unfortunately the Zenaida that was accused happened to be the wrong one and therefore the Anthonys and the defense have hired their own people to find her.

    In a new strategy it appears as though it is not a Nanny who took Caylee it is a meter reader. WHAT? According to a woman who volunteered for TES;  Joy Wray, she claims to have video footage that will prove that Caylees body was not in that area and that TES did in fact search that area. Based on this new information the defense has changed their strategy apparently. Roy Kronk is now being accused of killing Caylee and putting her in the woods. The defense is digging up all the dirt they can on Kronk and have even filed a motion implicating him in Caylees murder.

      Even though I have not been a huge fan of Leonard Padilla I have to admit that he called this one early on. Although he has repeatedly tried to speculate that there is a connection between Kronk and Casey Anthony, nothing has been proven. However, perhaps Leonard Padilla is respnsible for planting this new idea in theminds of the defense attorneys? In February Roy Kronks lawyer sent a letter to Padilla threatening to sue him as he was telling any media outlet who would listen that Roy Kronk was involved in this.

     I know the defense team hired someone to dig up anything they could on Roy Kronk and he succeeded. They have even found a connection to duct tape and Kronk. According to one of Kronks ex wives Jill Keerley: He had a saying about duct tape. This of course would make him the murderer! I often say things about duct tape while trying to get my husband to fix something. I say that if he doesnt fix it he is going to come home and I will duct tape it. So… does this mean I could have committed the crime?

     Now of course the defense has found that Kronk obviously is some sort of pedophile based on the words of an ex girlfriends daughter who claims that he sometimes walked in when she was putiing on her clothes. I am never one to dismiss the words of a child when it comes to a possible pedophile, however, if this is the only link to him possibly being attracted to little girls then they better dig deeper.

     Remember the saying: HELL HATH NO FURY LIKE THAT OF A WOMAN SCORNED?  Well who better to interview and destroy someones character than the ex? While we may not know the circumstances surrounding the break ups, what I would like to know is: Can you show me five people who were not romantically connected to Kronk that will say this is his character?

     The words spoken by his son stating that Kronk told him he was going to be on tv, while it bothers me that he could have possibly been looking for his fifteen minutes of fame just like the other cast of characters in this wild scenario, that doesn’t implicate him as a murderer.

     The defense lawyersagree that all of this latest supposed evidence is circumstantial, yet they claim he is just as much a suspect as Casey based on the evidence. I feel that once again this is nothing but a game and a way to place doubt in them inds of potential jurors. Roy Kronk has endured absolute hell by trying to do the right thing. I admit that at first when it came about I too speculated if he could be connected to this. However, if this case is teaching anything to the public about the decision to do the right thing, it is showing them that perhaps it is better to walk away and say nothing or you too will be drug through the media.

     This still leads me back to WHAT HAPPENED TO THE NANNY? Now that they are so sure that Kronk is involved are we supposed to forget that they are searching everyday for this supposed Nanny who is not the Nanny that they are currently being sued by yet the leads they have are solid and it will all come out at trial? If the defenses latest motions did anything to convince me of anything it would be that they are grasping now at anything possible. They backed themselves into a corner long ago with this entire Nanny scenario and now expect people to believe that they found the real killer? No, the real killer is now and has been sitting in Orange County Jail for over a year… Right where she should be.

SHANIA DAVIS WAS ONLY FIVE YEARS OLD! WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO?

     There doesn’t seem to be a night that goes by without a child’s face being flashed on the screen with the words “Missing” under it. Yet this little girl was never missing, her mother knew right where she was. A mother is supposed to protect her children at all costs, yet Antionett Davis fed her child to the monsters. She willingly gave her child up into a prostitution ring. The words mother, child and prostitution should never be in the same sentence.

     Sadly, the girl had been living with her mother only a month. She had been raised by her father Bradley Lockhart who claims that Shania was the result of a one night stand and that Antionetter finally seemed to get her life in order and he allowed the little girl to go. He now cannot forgive himself. Shanias aunt Carrie Lockhart Davis says that she and Antionette never got along because the woman was so neglectful to her children. Carrie claims that she dropped Shania off at her mtohers 4 weeks ago for a visit and that is the last time she ever saw her.

     Mario Andrette McNeill is currently in custody after turning himself in to police. He was shown in a video surveillance tape carrying Shania at a hotel. He claims he is not guilty of kidnapping or murder. Frankly as sick as I think he is I agree that he cannot be charged with kidnapping if the mother sold her into prostituion. The childs father claims that Antionetter asked if she could be a mother again and he thought she was sincere. However, this child only went there four weeks ago, so was this her plan all along? How do you, not even as a mother, but as a human give a small innocent child up into something like this. Knowing the horrific things that will happen to her, knowing that she will be scared, traumatized and violated?

     Antionette is currently also pregnant with another child and has a 7 year old. This woman does not deserve children and does not deserve to share thename mother with any of us.

     The autopsy is currently under way to determine how this child died, yet I can only imagine what horrific moments she had to endure. This woman took a beautiful healty happy child away from her father under the premise that she wanted to be a mom to her and sadly the dad had a heart. For him giving so selflessly and trying to not think of himself but of his daughter having a relationship with her mother he now has lost the most important thing in the world to him.

    

NEW DOCUMENTS, A PLAY AND MORE DEPOSITIONS

On Nov 6th 2100 more pages of documents were released and there was a lot of interesting information that contradicts the defense’s latest claim that Caylee was placed in the woods after Casey was already incarcerated. The defense continually places themsleves in a position where they are going to find that they are backed into a corner. They are making too many claims that are easily disproven by science and their only responses are to question the science itself.

The reports contain many details about the decomposition found in the trunk. It appears as though they have “coffin flies” which are present when there is decomp. In the testing they are able to narrow down the timeline and have concluded that somewhere between June19 and June 22 is when the body was removed from the trunk. This now contradicts what the defense is claiming as to Caylee being placed in the woods in August.

The Gatorade bottle that had brown liquid and a syringe was tested and is positive for chloroform and testosterone. Now they cannot of course say it was Casey Anthony who was in posession of this bottle but I find it rather odd that chloroform was searched, traces were found in the trunk, and now it mysteriously appears at the site of where Caylee was found. Sure it is just speculation but if I were on the jury I would find that information very telling.

There were tests done on the knife found in Casey’s car and there was a sticky residue found but could not be concluded that it was from the duct tape. If I am correct didn’t Cindy state that she washed the knife and put it back in the silverware drawer? Wouldn’t this somehow destroy some of the properties?

There were also new photos released with this latest dump.The are not labeled and some are hard to figure out but they include: The plastic bag and syringe, The Gatorade Bottle, A picture from the video we have all seen of Caylee and Casey playing, Caylee’s doll, The Whitney Laundry Bag ( I believe this one is the one found at the house),On the 9th page of the photo gallery is what appears to be a sheet or blanket? I am not sure what this is but surmise that it is probably the match to an item found at the crime scene. The other pages are filled with images I assume are from the crime scene. If anyone has more information I would greatly appreciate it to know what I am looking at.

The only emotion I was filled with when looking at these pictures was sadness. The doll photograph really bothered me. I don’t know if it because all along the one thing that was said was that Caylee would never go anywhere without that doll. So, I felt like it was her one security and sadly in whatever horrific moments she endured, she was without it.

Jose Baez when asked what the evidence of chloroform being present does to his case answered: “It’s insignificant” he stated that the same amount of chloroform could be found in tap water so he does not have any worries about it. As usual he made a little slam saying “I’m sure it made a great headline, it was blown out of proportion.” Funny, when it is something that seems to have a huge impact ont he case he never finds it very important…

Lee Anthony’s girlfriend was deposed on Thursday and I will be very interested to see what that interview said. Lee Anthony arrived at the courthouse looking very busy on his phone texting. He never spoke just walked by with his smug as usual look.

There is a play that is supposed to be released in Austrailia by Steven Soderburgh called “Tot Mom”. By running the play in Austrailia the family will not have to be compensated at all. It is said on the website that all proceeds are being donated to The Center For Missing and Exploited Children and that he will make no profit from this production. It is to be done in a documntary form and include excerpts from Nancy Grace. I don’t know how I feel about t his, just as I did not know how I felt about the book being done. I guess I feel as though these things are being done too early? I still haven’t gotten the book so I am not sure, maybe it will be a good read.

It was reported that a fellow inmate stated that upon Casey Anthony hearing about the play she screamed “ARE YOU FING KIDDING ME? GET MY LAWYER NOW”  While I never really take anything from the National Enquirer as the bible I can almost see this as her reaction…

There are supposed to be more documents released this upcoming week. I am not sure what they are supposed to contain but I read that it is only 40 pages. Dominic Casey has again gotten his depostion postponed and it supposed to be in December.

Unfortunately I don’t feel like we are any closer to justice for Caylee, but I do at least feel that with each piece of evidence released the right person is sitting in jail…

 

THE MOTIONS, THE INTERVIEW, THE MONEY…OH AND A CRUISE…

   JUDGE STRICKLAND RULES ON MOTION TO 

DISMISS MURDER CHARGES   

    The defense previously filed a motion to dismiss the murder charges against Casey Anthony and Judge Strickland ruled on that motion today. As many assumed it was not even considered. However, the defense team has really put it’s foot in it’s mouth this time. They now have until February 1, 2010 to provide evidence that they claim they have showing that someone else placed Caylee’s body in the woods while Casey was in jail.

     The mistakes made in filing this motion  truly makes me wonder if Casey Anthony is the least bit worried that her life is in this teams hands because I would be scared to death. It seems to me that if a lawyer is filing a motion to have a death penalty charge dropped they would dot every I and cross every T twice. Yet they failed to provide the witness list needed to support their claims.

     Linda Drane Burdick ripped the motion apart with the following statement: “It’s a farce. It doesn’t even come close to the legal requirements necessary for the court to even entertain a motion to dismiss, the entire motion, from top to bottom, it is replete with errors, it’s insufficient as a matter of law.”

    When Strickland explained that Casey Anthony had not sworn to the proper and legally required facts necessary to ask him to dismiss Andrea Lyon should have just not spoken. Her argument was not an argument at all. “It cannot be the intent of the Florida legislature that a person swear to something that they do not have personal knowledge of.”

    Jose Baez spoke with Kathi Belich following the hearing and as usual he had something very important to say: 

“Is there gonna be a bombshell on February 1st,” WFTV reporter Kathi Belich asked Casey’s attorney, Jose Baez. “There will be something. There definitely will be something,” Baez said

  **For those of you who are not familiar with Baez and his statements, I will translate this for you: ” I have no idea what the hell I am supposed to do now” **

     In the motion that was made to stop the video recordings of jail visits the defense notified the wrong agency. WHAT?? They were supposed to notify the Orange County Government who has run the jail since 1987 and instead notified the Orange County Sherriffs Office about the hearing. Oh what will they say about that?

LEE ANTHONY: 

                 TRIAL DATE SET IN CHECK FRAUD CASE

    The defense did not get what they wanted as far as the check fraud trial being delayed until after the murder trial. A while back it was said that by delaying the fraud trial it would be harder for a jury to convict anyone with no prior record. I am not sure who took that poll but I would have no problem convicting Casey Anthony for what she did with or without a prior conviction. It doesn’t matter to me whether she took a million dollars from someone or whether she would have given someone a million dollars, she is still to me a cold hearted murderer.

 

GEORGE, CINDY AND LEE’S TRANSCRIPTS RELEASED

FROM THEIR INTERVIEWS WITH PROSECUTORS

     When the Anthony’s were interviewed by the prosecutors in August this past year they claim that there are many inconsistencies in George’s story. Surprised? Not at all, it seems like the entire family has had many forgetful moments, statements that they didn’t mean, and just out and out lies.

     One thing he did state and I believe he was telling the truth is that he never asked Casey about the incident involving Caylee. His reason being they all believed the house was bugged. So what if he thought the house was bugged! Isn’t he the one who wanted to know no matter what or who exactly what happened to his grand daughter? Yet here we see another attempt to coddle and protect Casey. My only hope is that the obstruction charges aren’t being filed until after this whole mess is over, but are definately being considered. All in all it wasn’t a great day for the defense. They did win the motion to have the images of the crime scene and autopsy copied to give to their experts. However, I did find Strickland to be extra cautious and was infatic about his concern that those photos would be released or leaked. Baez assured him that the only ones who will see them are those who need to, even stating that those on the defense team that had nothing to do with that portion of the investigation would not see them.

GEORGE AND CINDY 48 HOURS INTERVIEW

     If you have followed this case from the beginning, you have learned by now that the interviews advertised as exclusive and promising never before answers to questions in this case are nothing more than another payday for all of those involved.

     The latest interview hosted by 48 hours was the same interview we have heard over and over. This time the defense team joined the Anthonys and Brad Conway was also present. The defense team continues to state that the prosecution is leaking information and trying this case in the media. Yet again it is the defense team sitting infront of the cameras not the state. I don’t understand how it is that the defense continues to whine and moan that the case is being tried in the media and yet they continue to give interviews…

     It has been reoprted that the Anthony’s were paid 20,000.00 for licensing fees, Brad Conway 3,000.00 for who knows what and I have not heard anything about the defense. Yet I wonder if in fact the Anthony’s was only a cut of the licensing fees as I seem to remember the last licensing fee for ohotos was 250,000.00.So although I am speculating I just wonder if the fee was higher and being used to fund the defense…

   It appears as though the Anthony’s along with Lee and Mallory continue to struggle while not being able to find work due to the meda coverage in this case. In fact they struggled so much that they decided to go on a  cruise while the 48hours interview aired. When asked about the crusie Cindy Anth0ny replied to WFTV: YOU GUYS PAID FOR THE TRIP” She then of course was her usual snipppity self and said” THANKS FOR RUINING OUR TRIP!” 

     All in all there was of course nothing new to report in the case, there was however, lots of continued denial, blame, and whining…. My only hope is one day this will be about Caylee…

 

 

BRAD CONWAY PRESS CONFERENCE: AND SURPRISE! MORE MOTIONS!

     Brad Conway, the attorney for George and Cindy Anthony sat down with reporters to give a press conference based on what has recently been released by the Sate.

I guess my first thought on this would be: WHY? Brad Conway is the attorney for the parents , not for Casey Anthony. Why is he sitting down and disecting the documents one by one? If he is in fact only representing the Anthony Grandparents, he has no business going on tv to discredit or give credit to anyone involved in the criminal trial. The Anthony’s continue to cry out that their daughter is already prosecuted and the case is being tried in the media. Yet, isn’t that what the are doing? AGAIN? Jose Baez of course cannot go on and give a press conference as he continues to accuse the State of leaks, yet if he instructs Conway to do the press conference then I guess it is okay?

* One of the most telling statements had nothing to do at all with the documents but one that I find amusing. Brad Conway was commenting onthe attorneys involved in this case and stated: (slightly out of context) “THE STATES ATTORNEY’S OFFICE HAS EXCELLENT ATTORNEYS, AND THE DEFENSE TEAM HAS (PAUSE) A A VERY  GOOD TEAM. ” hmm does Conway even question their ability?

     There were some moments during the video that caught my attention. When asked about the claim that Brad Conaway has made regarding a foreign hair that could not be identified from the car he adamantly stated that yes there was a hair that was not identified as Caylee or Caseys. Now my understanding of that report was that it was identified but not enough to say which one it was. When pressed further about this Conway backed off, saying he didn’t have the paper so he couldn’t comment on it.

     Of course the duct tape issue came up and he is stating that the reports are saying they are not alike at all when the earlier report  said they were. According to Bill Schaeffer, the duct tape that was found on Caylee would have broken down in the elements and therefore the argument that they are not the same is mute.

     A reporter asked Conway about the emails exchanged between Cindy and Dominic in which it appears that she is trying desperately to dig up dirt on Kronk. The reporter asked if she was emnarrassed that those documents were released. He gave an answer of when there is an active investigation going on you investigate everyone. Not really a good answer but I didn’t really expect them to say that yes Cindy was so embarrassed that these are out. Another interesting little piece of info was that the search continues for Zenaida Gonzales in Puerto Rico, and that when an reporter asked if they are interfering with the State or proper authorities investigation, Conway answered that he didn’t know if they are investigating anything.

There are good questions raised all throughout the press conference and although I am sure this was done to put speculation in peoples minds, I feel no different than I did before this. ISNT THIS POTENTIAL JURY TAINTING?

SURPRISE! NEW MOTIONS…

     As it has come to be expected the Defense Team files new motions today. The first one being to Toss the Capital Murder Charge against Casey along with the aggrivated child abuse charge.  In doing so it would also toss the death penalty. In the motion the defense claims that there is no evidence that Caylee was harmed in any way: SHES DEAD, YES THERE IS, AND I FOR ONE DO NOT BELIEVE THE DEFENSE HAS SHOWN THERE IS NO EVIDENCE.  They also claim that she was proven to be a good and caring mother: LET’S REFER BACK TO THE COMPUTER MAN AND HIS ACCOUNT, THAT IS JUST ONE PERSON…

     The second motion is of course one to preclude the death penalty. In the reasons cited the defense claims that the prosecution harbors bad faith motives against the defendant. ( AGAIN EVERYONE IS OUT TO PIN THIS ON CASEY RIGHT) They also cite that the prosecution does not have enough to  have a Capital Murder charge.

     The fourth reason given states that the prosecution cannot prove that Miss Anthony committed capital murder because the defendant stood in a familial or custodial authority over the victim. ( OH I THINK THEY CAN…)

    The defense also claims that even if they are able to prove that Casey Anthony is guilty of murdering Caylee they cannot impose the death penalty because they cannot say “how” she died . ( WELL I GUESS IF CASEY WOULD HAVE BEEN STRAIGHT FORWARD AND SHE COULD HAVE BEEN FOUND EARLIER THEN IT COULD BE PROVEN BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT THAT CASEY DIDN’T DO IT)

     There were over a 1000 documents released today including numerous emails between Cindy Anthony and Dominic Casey, lab results, interviews, tips and so on.   *Page 2:    An email that was sent to Lee Anthony from a Cindy in Texas listing all the reasons that she believes that Casey and Cindy are telling the truth about Zenaida G. I was amazed at how this woman was able to “twist” the circumstances to make them bend in Casey’s favor. The most outlandish statement of the email was one where she refers to the “flurry” of phone calls that we are all aware Casey made on the 17th. Now we all have our own thoughts on what these seemingly desperate attempts to contact Cindy or George were but this one is by far the most amusing:                                                                                               ****It seems as though this woman believes that the flurry of phone calls on the 17th was Casey desperate to find a sitter and when she was unable to reach anyone she “settled” for this Zenaida to watch her.

  *Page 5:        Dominic Casey was interested in Lee Anthony doing an internship with him.  I was unable to find out if there was ever an agreement or if Lee ever did in fact begin working with him.

*Page19:    In an email to Lee Dominc asks him to check into Will and refers to a visit on 7/29/08. If I am reading this correctly it appears that he asked Casey who Will was and his response to Lee was : ” Obvious answer, a friend! Interesting” Sounds like Mr. Casey was already a little fed up with Ms. Casey 🙂  The conversation continues on page 20 with Lee answering Dominic’s question about finding out who Brittney is as Will spoke about her in his blog. Lee’s answer was: ” I sure know who Brittney sounds like to me ” I wonder what that meant. He listed a link to the myspace page he referred to and although I have not gone back to check I am sure it is one we have seen before as these are conversations from September of 2008. I also found it amusing that the people Dominic refers to as the  ” Index of Players” (ex: Nate, Will, Ricardo) are accused of seeking their 5 minutes of fame… Hmmm, “Hi Pot have you met Kettle?”

*Page 29:  This is a picture of the Zenaida that Dominic has located and has asked Cindy to see if they are able to get it to Casey for a positive ID. Now I don’t know about anyone elses thoughts but this woman is a little too hot to be a Nanny and furthermore it looks like a picture from a professional photographer. Just thinking aloud…

PAGE 34:    HUMBLES BLOG HAS MADE IT INTO THE EVIDENCE.  Apparently they do read on the internet as Cindy forwarded Humbles post about Michelle Bart to her. They are claiming that Humble was posing as Michelle Bart… We all know that was not the case. The post referred to was the one where Humble posed questions to Michelle Bart. Now I have to ask her to refresh my memory but I am not sure if she answered them or another poster. Either way, is this helping find Caylee??

Another few little interesting tidbits from these first pages:

• On pg 46 Cindy sends an email to D. Casey asking if the media and States Attorney Office can be introuble for leaking the grand jury hearing about Casey. ( Now I think we all know where the leaks come from)
• page 48 it seems as though they are really tring to discredit Kronk
• The remaining are all leads, people they are looking into and on more than occasion Cindy does seem to be focusing on Jesse and Ricardo, although individually.

• Page 18 is an email in which Dominic tells Cindy that he found out Jessica D’onfrio is having an affair with a detective. Good PI work, definately helping to bring Caylee home.
• Pages 27 and 28 are filled with coorespondance from a Deborah Millikan in which she claims she has very priviledged information of how Zenaida Gonzales is scamming. She also asks to not reveal her identity as she is acting in the utmost confidence. Hmm… wonder how that went.

     I know I have read some of this before but do not believe I have done so in its enitrety. She has seemed credible to me from the beginning, and appears to be heartbroken at the relaization that her best friend was someone she did not know at all. I thin she was truly shocked to hear that Casey was making her out to be some sort of a dealer for Xanax and believe her when she says she never gave her any pills. She doesn’t like Jesse yet her reasoning is the way he approached her in the days following the realization that Caylee was missing.

She speaks of the Anthony’s acting as though they believed the house was bugged and Casey’s statement about I have so much to tell you when this is all over.

I do believe that although she didn’t have alot of information about Caylee’s disappearance her testimony will be valuable. She confirmed Casey lying about working to go out and Cindy calling to basically say come home and take care of your daughter, Casey was with her the day Cindy called and found out about the credit card charges, although at the time she believed that Cindy was mad that Casey didn’t register for school.

She is a good witness as to the turmoil in the home, the character of Casey (ie: “we all knew she lied all the time”),and I believe her statement about if Casey did this she didn’t do it alone, she was not that smart. speaks volumes.

     This is very interesting to me. James Thompson owns a computer store that Casey visited with Caylee. He took notice of Casey immediately as she was attractive. He claims Caylee was well behaved and shy and that he was horrified when he gave her a beanie baby for being so good. He said that he could not believe the reaction from Casey, it was one of jealousy. He also saw them the next day at the store and felt sorry for Caylee as she was walking through the parking lot ten feet behind Casey and had to open the door by heself as Casey was walking far ahead of her.

     This is something of importance also: Casey asked to write a check for a new monitor and when he said he couldn’t take checks she said she would have to come back. Hmm…

  MY THOUGHTS AFTER READING :

     I am not any different than anyone else who has been captured by this case since the beginning. I am filled with emotion for a little girl I never knew. Is that because it seems as though nobody else cared about her once the investigation came full circle and on paper she went from a missing child to a murdered child? I don’t know what it is that exactly drew me to this case as there are hundreds of children who go missing daily, and while I always pray for their safe return, Caylee’s case has been one who never leaves my mind for long.

     After reading through all of these documents, I am still amazed at the family dynamics. There is no one throughout this entire thing who took George and Cindy and shook them and said “YOU HAVE TO FACE THE FACT THAT YOUR GRAND DAUGHTER IS NO LONGER HERE BECAUSE HER MOTHER KILLED HER!” As I have seen evidence many times that they do in fact read everything on the internet, at some point would you not weigh the facts, evidence, and most importantly the common sense that is out there? How do you condemn those who have read it all, can see clearly from the outside and want nothing more than a little girl to finally be at peace?Yet are so quick to embrace those who give ridiculous visions and claims of where she is? I can only imagine that we would all like to believe that quite possibly every piece of evidence is wrong were we walking this mile, yet at some point reality has to set in and common sense has to take over. Just like Annie Downing had to realize that the friend she thought she knew was not a friend at all and incapable of being a friend, George and Cindy have to realize that Casey is not the good daughter, loving mother and care taker they thought she was.

To read the items that were collected at the scene was so sad. How do you take a child that you created, and throw her amongst broken beer bottles, trash, and make it someones elses job to sort through it all? How do you say “this is a great place for me to put her to rest?” How as a mother do you find the capability to remove yourself from feeling anything for a little one who counts on you to show her the way?

     I don’t care one bit about the duct tape being destroyed, as far as I am concerned there is a whole lot more that the defense should worry about. The account of the computer store man was enough for me. I can just see Casey walking through the parking lot as if she had not a care in the world and leaving Caylee to fend for herself. That’s the Casey I think we have all come to see throughout this.

     If after reading these documents and I was on the jury, there would be no one able to sway me from GUILTY, AND MOST DEFINATELY THE DEATH PENALTY! CASEY ANTHONY ONLY CARES ABOUT CASEY ANTHONY. EVEN NOW AS THIS IS GOING ON, THE VERY PEOPLE SHE CALLED FRIENDS ARE THE ONES SHE IS WILLING TO LET TAKE THE FALL FOR THIS. SHE IS A COLD HEARTED, MANIPULATIVE PERSON WHO DOES NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO FEEL COMPASSION FOR ANYONE OR ANYTHING.

 

 

 

 

 

MY THOUGHTS ON THE LATEST REQUESTS FOR CASEY ANTHONY…

 It’s been a few weeks since I have been able to post as my computer went down. As usual in the Casey Anthony case a few weeks makes a big difference. They have been busy filing many motions as usual and while I know they have a job to do, and I try my hardest to have an open mind, I can’t help but think they are grasping with every motion they file. Perhaps it is because I believe Baez is too inexperienced and lacks the professionalism to go up against the State in a case of this magnitude. Maybe it is because I have a hard time giving Casey Anthony the benefit of the doubt even though our justice system says we have to. Or quite possibly it is because I want to see justice for a little girl who was unable to defend herself and who will never know the wonder and amazement of this thing called life…

      The defense team for Casey Anthony is busy as usual filing motions. This one is the best yet IMO. It appears as though the defense feels that they have grounds to ask that the case be dismissed due to the lawyers and their experts not being able to examine the crime scene prior to the investigators and Crime Scene Experts removing evidence.

“The motion asserts that the state tampered with Caylee’s remains and the wooded area where she was found, before the defense could bring in its own experts.” ( Examiner)

     Now as I have stated many times before I am not a legal expert nor do I have any background in law. Here is what I do have: COMMON SENSE… I cannot imagine that Strickland will even entertain granting this  motion  as there are some pretty important points that possibly the defense hasn’t thought of:

•  Though it was collectively agreed upon that yes the remains were those of Caylee Anthony, they had yet to be positively identified through DNA. Therefore, the defense had no right whatsoever to be invited into that crime scene. What if by some slim chance it wasn’t Caylee?
• How exactly were the CSI experts supposed to examine the evidence without disturbing the topsoil and vegetation?
• The defense feels that they knew the remains were Caylee’s due to them seeking the search warrant at the Anthony home. Well perhaps even without identification the fact that her mother wrapped her in her own blanket and that blanket happened to match the set at the Anthony home in a prior search that was enough for the warrant?

     In the motion the defense basically calls the State liars and says that they misrepresented to the court that the remains were unknown when they were already aware of the identification. They state that without being able to examine the crime scene prior to sifting through it Miss Anthony was unable to gather evidence… Well I would say that this is whining. I am in awe as to how the defense believes that they had any grounds to go in and search. Or perhaps if I take their wording literally Miss Anthony should have been allowed to go into the crime scene and gather evidence herself? (jk)

     Is it the States fault that they were unable to release the crime scene and that it took longer to process than first expected? NO IT IS CASEY ANTHONY’S FAULT THAT IT TOOK SO LONG.  Perhaps, (let’s just say for grins) Miss Anthony should have thought this entire scenario through before dumping her body there. Perhaps she should have realized that there are animals in the woods that maybe would have found this bag? Or perhaps that is what she was counting on and that didn’t go so well for her.

     From the day Casey Anthony was arrested, her lawyer and parents have argued that she is being victimized by the OCSD. This is really a childish excuse. The OCSD has more to do than look for innocent citizens to pin crimes on. Quite possibly they became tired of Casey Anthony’s antics and are skilled enough in homocide to know when someone is lying. Perhaps they weren’t swayed by Casey batting her eyes, laughing and thinking she’s a star… What if they really are police men and women who are seeking justice for a baby that couldn’t defend herself against this monster, that had her poor little body dumped like garbage, that had to be put back together like a puzzle just to give her a name. Casey Anthony is not now nor has she ever been a victim, Caylee is the victim and although the defense has a job to do, as far as I am concerned the States job is much more important…

    A motion to change venue was filed. I am not from Florida so therefore I have no idea where the places mentioned are in proximity to Orlando. However, I am interested to know how many people there are in Florida that have never heard of this case? I live in Michigan and am a hairstylist. I come across many people in one weeks time, and there is not one here who hasn’t heard of Casey Anthony. Marinade Dave is better equipped to answer these questions as he knows Florida in and out. A few of the reasons the defense gives for requesting the change of venue caught my eye and as usual provoked thoughts…

• “Members of the Orlando community have a strong sense of personal attachment to this case, as envinced by the thousands of people who participated in searches, attended her memorial service and otherwise expressed special concern for the child.
• The Orlando community is hostile to Miss Anthony. Scores of protesters have demonstrated against Miss Anthony and her family , and online comments and media reports indicate the community believes Miss Anthony desrves to be executed.
• Internet publications have been particularly inflammatory in this case. Internet publications often fail to adhere to journalism ethics and standards.  

Now to me it appears that the defense is basing most of their argument on the media and internet coverage. Last time I checked the internet is world wide and therefore by stating that the internet publications show that she cannot get a fair trial is to say that she cannot get a fair trial anywhere… I agree so let’s squash that motion! 🙂

     The Orlando community is not the only community hostile towards Casey Anthony. I would like the defense to know that at least in Michigan we are hostile towards Miss Anthony also… AND yes they do believe that she should be executed, as do thousands of other communities.

     The next motion is one in which the defense is asking that all visits between Casey Anthony and her attorney not be subject to video taping. This is a normal practice in the jail and does not include audio. So, why is Jose Baez requesting special treatment? What is he worried about? Perhaps he is doing something wrong during these visits, like allowing Casey to use the laptop to maybe connect with her family? Or maybe she is reading all the stories posted about her online and feeding her ego of being a celebrity? I guess I don’t understand why if there is no audio there is a problem?    The next motion filed is one in where the defense is asking that all videotapes of visits between Casey and her family be destroyed. Apparently her mental health is at stake and she is unable to have the comfort of support from her family that she needs because the videos are released to the media. CITIZENKIM WAS NAMED IN THE MOTION! WHOO HOO WAY TO GO! I KNEW THEY READ THE BLOGS!

    I don’t know how Strickland will rule on these motions but I hope that the dismissal motion will be the one that he gives a reprimand for. It is full of nothing but accusations from the defense. I hope at somepoint Strickland grows tired of hearing all of this from the defense and tells them to stop wasting the courts time.

     Casey Anthony will have to prove her innocence and I am not sure that she will be able to do that. It isn’t about the media trying the case, it is about Casey Anthony’s decision to rid herself of her responsibilities and not thinking any further than the moment. While I don’t believe that her parents are conciously trying to hide anything, I think they are still so desperate to believe that the child that they brought into this world could not be capable of this crime and therefore they react poorly to situations.

     Whatever the outcome of this case, whether be that Casey Anthony is put to death or walks free, it doesn’t change the fact that Caylee Anthony was murdered and disposed of in a cruel and horrible manner. That is what Casey ANthony will be faced with on her judgement day…

The NEWEST Motion, Cindy’s Statement,Baez Speaks ( AGAIN) AND Ryan Jenkins Suicide…

     It was said that a new motion was filed prior to the hearing for Casey Anthony on August 21st. Surprised? No… I would be surprised if we went a month without something being filed. This motion is 91 pages and is asking for lab testing, data, and in bold print is basically tattling.

     In a hearing five months ago when Linda Kenny Baden asked for the documents I seem to remember the state saying that all they had to do was request the documents from the FBI. She countered that saying that it has never been done that way and that the State is in posession of these and should turn them over. The motion states:

“Although this original motion was heard nearly five months ago, the State has failed to turn over even one piece of discovery from the FBI and many other experts.The State has failed to turn over items as simple as various witness’ cirriculum vitae.”

     Most of what is being asked for is discovery that we the public have already seen. The tests done on the car, air, chloroform, human decomposition, hair samples, squirrel, carpet, and so on. They are challenging the validity of Oak Science, who performed the various tests stating that they are not a crime lab, but a research lab. (I guess this is where Baez’ junk science statement comes into play)

     Perhaps I should email Mr. Baez and give him the copies we on wordpress have. It seems to me that to take up another day in court with information already released is stupid. It is yet another delay in the case. Obviously these documents have been available, yet Mr. Baez seems to think that they should be hand delivered to him by the prosecution…

CINDY ANTHONY GIVES STATEMENT FOLLOWING 8/21 HEARING:

     Following the hearing on Friday in which we saw for the first time Casey Anthony showing some “real” emotion, Cindy Anthony spoke to reporters outside the courthouse. Now before I comment I will say that no matter what her demeanor to the reporters, it will be analyzed and critiqued. I am not going to comment on her hair, outfit or anything else. What I am commenting on is her demeanor.

     She seemed to be so composed, almost happy. She spoke of seeing her daughter as though she just visited her at college. She spoke of the emoitonal exchange between Casey and George and spoke of it as if she were an outsider looking in on this exchange. To me Cindy did not act as a mother who has not seen her child for months, whose child is facing death for killing her grand daughter, whose child is locked in solitary confinement 23 hours a day. She seemed like a mother who just saw her daughter yesterday.

     Perhaps she has been told to stay composed when in court seeing Casey, yet as a mom I cannot imagine having nothing but smiles after not seeing my child for months, let alone seeing them led into the court room in hand cuffs. Now I know had she welled up with tears or broke down she would be criticized for that, yet I wonder if she acts this way because she is able to communicate with Casey through Baez? Furthermore, could it be possible that the Anthony’s are able to visit Casey but perhaps it is at times the media would not be following them? I do not know how the jail visitation works but would they allow them to come only at specific hours or could they request coming in the middle of the night? I know that the jail tapes everything, but would they have to release those ?Just thinking aloud…

JOSE BAEZ MAKES STATEMENT AFTER COURT HEARING:

     Jose Baez spoke briefly after the hearing stating that he had to get Ms. Lyons to the airpot or he would be in trouble. He stated that he would be speaking for the team, which I am not sure is always a good idea.

     Jose Baez stated that he was not going to say anything about the case as he will try the case in the court room not in the media. However, he did give some information regarding Tim Miller: He stated that it isn’t up to anyone to decide  what is relevant, they will decide what is relevant. He also stated that Tim Miller says the area was unable to be searched in November due to water, yet points out that Dominic Casey has video in November where it is dry… (Hmmm….raising reasonable doubt for potential jurors?) When asked about why he was so worried about Leonard Padilla he stated that it is only to cover all bases and protect Casey Anthony as she is innocent. He called the group a ” cast of characters”

     I did find it amusing that he defended himself saying he will only file motions that are necessary….

     Ryan Jenkins who has been the subject of a man hunt from the US to Canada as a result of his wife/girlfriend being found in a dumpster mutilated, was found last night hanging from a bar in the closet of the hotel room by a belt.

     Ryan Jenkins and a mysterious woman checked into the Thunderbird Hotel in the town of Hope, famous for where the first Rambo movie was filmed. Adam Curt who is a motel employee and the nephew of the owner stated that Jenkins and the woman arrived Thursday in a PT Cruiser and he stayed in the car while she checked them in. She paid cash for three nights. He stated that she is a woman in her early 20’s who is naturally pretty. Although neither hotel employee saw the woman leave, a tenant in the room next to theirs says she was only at the hotel about 20 minutes.

     Unfortunately for Jasmine Fiore’s family, while his death makes him unable to hurt another woman, it must also enrage them to know that he will never have to face charges for what he did to this beautiful woman.

     On August 13th Jenkins and Fiore checked into a hotel room in San Diego, Jenkins checked out the next day and Fiore was never seen alive again. VH1 who hosts the reality show “Megan Wants” said that they had no knowledge of the prior record he had resulting from assaulting Fiore. He was serving 15months probation for the charge.

     It was said that he has a worth of over 2million dollars. I am sure whoever the woman was that took him to the hotel was paid generously, however, being the only one left involving this case, authorities are currently searching for her. Whether she was a friend or stranger who was hired, I think in the end she will regret her decision to help this monster…

RESULTS OF THE AUGUST 21ST HEARING FOR CASEY ANTHONY CASE

    The hearing that is latest in the multiple motions that have been filed in this case has concluded today.

     Casey Anthony was led into the court room and after not having seen her in months, I must say she looks drawn. Her face seems to me to be sunken in some and she looks as though she has not had much sleep. George and Cindy Anthony were in attendance. Both of them really look as if they have been through hell.

     The motions that were filed were argued, argued and then argued. Mark NeJame was in attendance representing Tim Miller of Equisearch. He is really an act of class. I think he is truly saddened by this case and after the exchange with George Anthony yesterday at a press conference, it is easy to see the compassion he has for these people.

     Jose Baez was of course inserting little jabs at the State as he does at every hearing, but we are used to him and if he all of a sudden became completely professional we wouldn’t know how to act.

     The motions ruled on and the results of those motions are as follows:

TO CERTIFY TIM MILLER AS A MATERIAL WITNESS:

     In this motion the defense asks to have access to the records of searchers who volunteered with Equisearch. The defense sites that they have valid information that the area in which Caseys remains were found were thoroughly searched and therefor they believe that the body of Caylee Anthony was placed there by someone else after Casey Anthony was incarcerated.

     Judge Strickland has held off ruling on this case for a week.

Some of the key points of the arguments given are:

Arguments by the Defense:

                              ~ There is substantial evidence that Caylee Anthony was placed there after Casey Anthony was incarcerated.

                           ~ Proves that someone else put her body there.

                          ~ The searchers are potential witnesses to say there was no body there.

                          ~ Casey Anthony has the right to a full investigation of all volunteers due to this being a capital murder case.

                        ~ Has evidence that the area was extensively searched.

                      ~ The defense has a right to review all the documents. The fact that they have been reviewed by NeJame and Conway does not prove who else viewed them.

                          ~Just because they determined that they have found 32 people who are worth looking into who is to say that there is no other volunteer that we feel relevant.

      ~ Our intent is not to harass or embarrass anyone, should we find a volunteer that we feel will add something of worth to this case then and only then will the information be released.

ARGUMENTS BY MARK NEJAME:

         ~ Texas Equisearch has thousands of searchers who were a part of this case. So do we tell all four thousand that they must give their information? The motion is too broad. We are willing to give the information of the searchers in the area and within 200 yards of the place where Caylee was found.

     ~ We are willing to allow the judge to review the four thousand people behind closed doors and rule as to what he sees fit.

     ~Out of sympathy and concern for Mr and Mrs Anthony, we allowed their attorney Brad Conway to review the documents first. Even prior to our reviewing and he was unable to find even 32 people who he felt had a valid reason for the defense to inquire about.

     ~No Tim Miller will not be allowed by me to give a deposition until the defense narrows down what it is they are looking for. If at that time we can agree then by all means he will be more than willing to testify.

     ~ When asked why it would be Tim Miller to give the information as to who was there and why Nejames response: If Tim Miller doesn’t know if a specific volunteer was in the area, how would anyone else?

     ~We have no issue if the defense is willing to pay up front for the costs that will be incurred by theirreviewing all of this information. Texas Equisearch is a donation only charity and does not have themeans to pay for the man hours it will take. They will need to pay for the people who will be needed to gather all of the information, Pay an independent withness to monitor them and ensure it is being done correctly. If they want to come in and not be able to take anything with them and review the people associated within 200 yards then yes there is no issue.

MOTION TO QUASH SUBPEONA OF ANTHONY LAZARRO:

     This was addressed previously and the outcome was that the defense had to narrow its motion. The subpeona was narrowed and they are asking for records for the dates of June 1st of 08 through July 15th of 08, and July 23rd of 08 through January 09.

     Judge Strickland has ruled that the defense may have access to the phone records from June of 08 through December 0f 08. He stated that he will allow access of the phone records up until two weeks after the discovery of Caylees remains. He stated that his reasoning for this is that if he takes into account the defenses claim that someone else placed Caylee there, then there could possibly be a flurry of panicky phone calls during the time the remains were found. He denied them needing the text messages and said should they be deemed necessary after receiving the phone records they can then come back and ask. As far as the cell phone pings he stated he does not know much about them but if they are in the report with the phone records then they can have them, otherwise they need to ask the court after reviewing the phone records.

ARGUMENTS MADE BY ATTORNEY JAY: (atty. for Tony Lazarro)

     ~Under case law the defense has to show relevancy. Most of what they want pertains to their client Casey Anthony and all contact with her was severed after July 15th.

     ~The defense states as example of relevancy that they searched Mr. Lazarros car . In fact his car was searched due to the fact that Casey Anthony was driving his car for more than a week.

     ~Subpeona filed by the defense is too broad. It does not meet the criteria for materiality, they need to state what it is they actually want. The reason they cannot narrow the subpeona is because they have no facts.

     ~ In the event the motion is granted, it should be the court who receives the records and reviews them under camera.

  ARGUMENTS BY THE DEFENSE:

     ~The time frames are based on many things that have been turned over to us. ie: State submitted information that he was used as an informant for a secret meeting with Lee Anthony.

     ~ The relevancy of the records from September to January are : 1) Because Caylee Anthony’s remains were not found until December 2) We want the cell phone pings in order to see whether or not he was in that area past September. 3) He is a material witness and spent a significant amount of time with my client and will offer testimony against my client.

MOTION TO BAR LEONARD PADILLA AND AFFILIATES FROM TESTIFYING:

     This motion was filed to stop Leonard Padilla and his entourage from testifying against Casey Anthony. In the motion it states that it is in violation of Attorney/ Client priviledge. Baez states that Leonard Padilla was hired as part of the defense team, yet his actions and instructions to Casey Anthony and her family members show otherwise.

     Judge Strickland ruled that he wil not rule on this case as he was given three hours of video tape by the State to review in order to determine if the motion has relevancy.

     George Anthony was called to testify by Jose Baez, and then cross examined by the State. He seemed to be conflicted, it’s as if he wants to know the truth but doesn’t want to give the State anything further to implicate his daughter. Casey Anthony’s eyes filled with tears when her father took the stand. When he left the stand he blew his daughter a kiss.

*** there were many arguments posed by both sides and it was mostly going back and forth as to why it is relevant, what is relevant and who is protected under the atty/client priviledge.

MOTION TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THE CHECK FRAUD TRIAL:

     This motion was filed by the state to move ahead with the check fraud trial brought against Casey Anthony regarding her forging checks of her good friend Amy Huzeinga. The state is asking to set a date for the trial and the defense is asking to not set a date until after the capital murder trial.

     Judge Strickland again refrained from ruling on this case until he reviews it. This again was mostly a pissing match and even though there is no ruling I’d say the State won this one. They had very valid  points and completely squashed the theory that the defense is entirely too busy to deal with this.

ARGUMENTS FROM THE STATE:

~The state is ready for the trial and would like to proceed. This case has been going on a year and going nowhere. We are talking about a small time frame of one week.

~ I realize there are overlapping witnesses in this case yet I feel that we will be able to seperate the two.

~ The defense claims that they are too busy preparing for the death penalty trial and yet they cannot argue the following facts:

• Only one attorney on record is involved with both cases. That being Mr. Baez.
• Mr Baez has 20 other pending cases that he took on after the death penalty was announced. So to say that he is wholly cosumed in this case only is false.
• Ms. Lyons as of now is not involved on record in this case and yet she has said she will be participating in both. Should she decide to get involved I think she could give one day to this case.
• The defense states that there is no way they can get a jury. We would like to think that the utmost concern would be given when questioning a jury pool.

~ In a sworn affidavit Amy Huzeinga staes that this case has been going on over a year causing her great mental stress. Her name is all overthe internet, and it is hindering her from getting a job.

~ We are not demanding a speedy trial, we are asking to have a date on the docket.

~We are ready for the trial, have 15 witnesses and only need one day for trial. Aside from jury selection we can be done in a day.

ARGUMENTS BY THE DEFENSE:

~ We are not complaining that we are to busy We are trying to prepare to save Ms. Anthony’s life.

~We will be filing a change in venue

~ Even though the state claims it will only take a day it will divert attention and resources.

~ Our suggestion would be to set a trial date 60 days after the murder trial…

At that point the state rebutted with: We don’t even know when we are going to have a murder trial…

One thing is for sure, it is never dull when something happens with this case!

 

HOW MANY MORE MOTIONS CAN BAEZ COME UP WITH?

     If you are like many of us who have followed the Casey Anthony case since the beginning, then you know Jose Baez has become an expert in filing motions. It isn’t as if he hasn’t been successful in being granted any of them, but it has been amusing to see the amount of motions filed. We have all agreed that his inexperience has lead most to believe that he is not qualified to try this case. He has filed every motion possible, and that only makes him appear to be scrambling to cover every base. So now Friday’s hearing will bring new motions. There has been no statement as to whether Casey will be in court, but I think she will. If I were her and had any thought that I may be able to get away with this crime, I would be right there watching Baez. He has gone under the radar more since Andrea Lyons has come on board, and I am sure that she is running the show.

     The motions filed are :

   *TO CERTIFY TIM MILLER OF EQUISEARCH AS A WITNESS 

According to the motion filed the defense is continuing on with the theory that there is no way Caylee Anthony could have been in the woods for six months. They are stating that the area was searched by Equisearch and therefore they appear to be stating that Caylee must have been put there after Casey was re arrested.

     It appears to me that the defense seems to forget that Tim Miller himself explained that the area in questione was under water and after numerous tries they were unsuccessful in thoroughly searching the area. From the day Baez has begun his manic motion filing, he has wanted Tim Miller’s records. Names of searchers, personal information and so on. So is this just another act of grasping at any and all information to make some sort of defense for his client murdering her child?

*   TO BAR LEONARD PADILLA, TONY PADILLA, TRACY Mc lAUGHLIN, AND ROBERT DICK FROM TESTIFYING FOR THE PROSECUTION

     The defense is claiming that the bounty hunter and his staff should not be allowed to testify against Casey Anthony as they were serving as part of her defense team and therefore she should be protected under the attorney client priviledge. The defense states that the group spent countless hours in the Anthony home and that many statements pertaining to the case were made by Casey Anthony as she was under the impression she was protected under the priviledge.

     In the brief that is attached to the motion, the defense states that Leonard Padilla and his group entered into an oral agreement with Casey Anthony to serve as security… Attorney Client Priviledge? Security? Hmm… The privacy agreement states only that they are not allowed to record any statements made by Casey Anthony. That they will not keep her from contact with her attorney, that they will not interrogate or ask any questions. What I did not see is that they were in any way appointed as her defense team? If they were sloely serving as security, how is it that they now fall under attorney client?

   ** TO DELAY THE CHECK FRAUD TRIAL UNTIL AFTER THE CAPITAL MURDER TRIAL

     I thought that this was already granted to the State? I thought they were already allowed to go further with the check fraud case? I do not ever portray myself as being completely knowledgeable with the law, so I am throwing that out there. It states that Miss Anthony would not be able to find a fair and impartial jury for this case  due to the media storm surrounding her capital murder case. It also states that the defense is entirely too busy to deal with this as they are preparing for the capital murder case. My thought? Perhaps their client should not have committed multiple crimes and they wouldn’t be so busy. Did they ever take into account that Casey’s friend Amy may have been entirely too busy to deal with her friend wiping out her bank account?

The last motion is to quash a subpoena for Anthony Lazarro’s records. Jose Baez wants all the phone records and such for Anthony Lazarro. There is no time frame that he has asked for. Lazarros attorney has stated that it is an invasion of his clients privacy.

     Friday will be yet another day to sit with mouths wide open watching Baez perform and yet another to day to shake our heads in disbelief. With the exception of the check fraud trial I think the other motions will not be granted. It just occurred to me that while I believed the check fraud motion was already decided, I may  be confusing that with the Zenaida Gonzales suit. My mistake if that is the case, sometimes it’s hard to keep up with all that Casey Anthony did…

 

DALIA DIPPOLITO, 26, MONEY HUNGRY OR ABUSED WIFE??

     Boynton Beach by all accounts is a very upscale neighborhood and one that a 26 year old woman would kill to continue living in…

     Dalia Dippolito was charged with hiring a hit man to kill her husband of only six months. The supposed informant is a lover although authorities will not confirm it. However, he is the by all accounts the reason that Michael Dippolito is still alive.

     The odd thing is that Michael Dippolito is not surprised or shocked that he was the target of murder by his wife. He claims that when he went to sleep at night, he knew something was wrong. He just wished she would have left, not done this.

     It is alleged that the reason that the 26 year old married this man who is 12 years her senior was to gain ownership of the home the couple lived in and Michael purchased a few days prior to their wedding. She persueded him to sign over sole ownership to her. Dalia also apparently was incharge of the finances and Michael claims that some of the bills never reach their destination.

     The only statement that Michael Dippolito made to his wife when she came face to face with him in the police station was:” You can’t get out of this one” So was this alluding to the many problems with her handling the finances?

     She is being called a money hungry woman, among other not so nice things and I am trying to see both sides. Michael Dippolito himself has a record of defrauding customers in a telemarketing scam and is on probation until 2032. There also were three incidents involving police being called to the home in March, April and May.

     Now this to me seems odd for a couple who married in February to already have three domestic complaints. So was she abused? Was she the abuser? Or did she really have that cold of a heart that a mans life was worth a condo?

ANOTHER DOCUMENT DUMP, ANOTHER NAIL IN THE COFFIN…

     I just finished reading through 358 pages of new discovery documents released, and I hope Jose Baez has more up his sleeve than: ” My client is innocent” Nothing in the latest documents gave any sign that Casey Anthony was a distraught mother looking for her child. What it did confirm is that she was a liar over and over and over. Amy H.’s text messages showed her absolute heartbreak and overwhelming concern for Cayleee once she realized this person she thought was such a great friend was a cold and callous person. I believe it was Tony’s text if I am not mistaken that showed he could not even fathom who this person was and how she could do this. What I saw as a group of people who when notified that this little girl was gone rallied for her. It didn’t matter what her mother had done to them, they were willing to band together and put all their effort into finding her.

     The cell phone records and timeline for cell phone usage were pretty interesting. Did the Anthony’s know that Casey was in their house almost everyday with the exception of two days? The cell phone pings were so precise, and they were able to pinpoint exactly where she was during each hour of the day. Over on Marinade Daves blog there has been much controversy as to what day people think Caylee was killed. I think reading the times and locations of the cellphone use will open that discussion way up again… ( Good luck Dave!)

There are photos, a 3d “fly by” of the area where Caylee’s remains were found, subpeonas for cell phone records and for cell phone numbers that they either were not able to identify or were trying to identify as Zenaida Gonzales. There are maps of the cell phone areas where Casey was, wire taps for The Anthony’s cell phones, home phone, and friends cell phones.

The release today also stated that there was no blood evidence found in Casey Anthony’s car. While she may sit back and think she can breathe a sigh of relief, SHE CAN”T! There was still human decomposition and just because it was homocide does not mean there was blood.

     When I read through the text messages of her friends they were like any normal friend text messages. Where they were going, what they were doing and so on. Yet when I read all the ones from Casey even from the beginning of her talking to Amy, I see a girl who is almost leech like. She texts numerous times a day from the beginning as if the first thing she does in the morning when she wakes up is think of what her friends are doing. Now if you are fifteen that’s fine, but when you are a mother you should be entirely too busy in the morning to wonder about your friends right away. She spun lies right from the get, always seeming to promise to do something and then falling through. Using Caylee as an excuse for not going to look at a phony house she was sure they were moving into. At one point you can see Amy almost be hesitant and say that she just wants to be sure that this is for real because she needs to move. She of course was lured back in by another tragedy happening to Casey that made her unable to keep her appointment… If you have ever had a friend like this, and I have, you know how easy it seems to be for them to spin these lies in hindsight. Yet while it is happening you can’t think that because they are so convincing, they come up with things too quickly and they never get caught. When my girlfriends and I talk now about this particular friend we had, we are amazed at ourselves that we never saw it. That she was able to juggle all these lies and never once did we catch on…

      Bill Schaeffer said on an interview that he will be surprised if half of this evidence will even be used in trial. I wonder is that because they won’t need it, or because it isn’t important? I being a citizen would want every piece of evidence shown to me possible if I was a juror deciding someone’s life. The lives that have been scarred by the act of a selfish and spoiled woman are too many to count, and the life that was taken by this same woman is worth more than the death penalty. While I believe that sitting in jail is a luxury for Casey Anthony, I also believe that death is too easy for her. So, I don’t know what the answer is to give Caylee the justice she deserves, but I know that  the justice can’t come fast enough.

Abuse, Kidnapping, Murder, Robbery: What Is Going On???

•      A mother charged with pepper spraying her children.
•      A father of a five year old girl who has been missing since February charged with felony burglary.
•      A mother charged with dragging her child through a verizon store on a leash.
•      A couple manufacturing a meth lab in the same room they share with their six children.
•      An 8 year od boy reported missing is found floating in a canal 14 miles from his home…

     Maybe I pay more attention since Caylee Anthony caught my attention last year. Or perhaps there are more and more children being victimized. I have written many times about the crimes against children, as it is something that I still cannot understand. I still support the Childhelp Organization who aid in the awareness and prevention of child abuse,  and yet every day there is another child hurt, murdered, or kidnapped. The scary thing is that for every one we see or hear about on the news, how many don’t we?

     In Tempe, Arizona a woman named Michelle Antone has been arrested for pepper spraying her daughters while they were trying to stop her from driving. The reason: She was drunk!  Her daughters hid the keys, and when she became belligerent with them they left the house. Two hours later they returned and when the oldest (15) told her she did not have access to the room with the keys, Antone began attacking them with pepper spray. She then left the house and the girls called (15) and (10), called the police. She was arrested and is being held on two charges of aggravated assault.

       I hope these are just the first of two charges. This is abuse!

     In Georgia, Mellissa Smith – Means was arrested after dragging her child through a verizon store on a leash. She claims that the child would not listen and due to health problems she was unable to pick him up. Now if you watch the video she is dragging him pretty easily showing no signs of being too weak. As a mother, are there times you want to drag them? Well,that has really never been one of my thoughts. I know that it is easy to get overwhelmed when they are testing you to no end but this is cruel. The child was injured from the rope being around his neck and she has been arrested on a child cruelty charge.

     Earlier this week a couple was arrested on charges of running a meth lab out of the basement of a home they lived in. If thats not bad enough, the basement was the room they shared with their six children. The Meridian Idaho Police Department stated that there was also a gun found loaded under the sheets of one of the childrens beds! 

     Theresa and Carson Myler were only living in this home for almost two weeks. In a statement from LE it was said that they have known about this location for only a couple of days, but it appears the couple were being watched prior to this move. Five of the six children are in protective custody. The other child is seventeen and has not been mentioned. The chemicals that these children have been exposed to can have lifetime debilitating affects on their brain development. How on earth do you subject your own children to this?

 

     8 year old Robert Manwill was reported missing from his home July 24, 2009. A little girl has come forward saying that she was playing with him at the park on that particular night around 7pm. She stated that he left around 8pm saying he was going to his moms.

     Robert’s mother Melissa Jenkins is the only one in my opinion that needs to be looked at. While there are over one hundred sex offenders in his town, his own mother should not have even been allowed to see him as far as I am concerned. His younger brother Aidan is in protective custody since March of 2009 for injuries sustained by his own mother Melissa Jenkins. It appears that the system failed not only this little one but also Robert. Aidan had an injury to his skull which doctors determined had to be done by great force. Yet Judge Cathleen MacGregor Irby didn’t feel this was a problem. Melissa Jenkins was sentenced to two years probation and supervised visits. So at the time Robert was reported missing not only was she the last to see him. She never participated in any type of search or was involved in looking for this little boy at all. Roberts step mother Silke Fatma Manwill was convicted of stabbing her own daughter to death and served nine years. Daniel Ehrlick, Melissa Jenkins boyfriend is a convicted felon and not even allowed to be around Roberts half sister Rae Lynn.

     Roberts dad Charles Manwill has had custody of him since January of 2008 and he was on an overnight stay with his mother at the time of his disappearance.

     Everyone in this childs little life failed him. What he must have gone through in his eight  short years brings tears to my eyes. Now with his death being confirmed as a homocide and LE stating that he was not abducted by a stranger, tonights press conference should be interesting. For this little boys sake I hope the judicial system finally realizes that they need to crack down harder on parents who do not take responsibility for their children.

     Robert Cummings, the father of the still missing 5 year old Haleigh Cummings was arrested last night at his home. The charges are burglary and assault. It appears that Misty Croslin- Cummings family had come to the mobile home where the couple live with Ronalds grandmother and tried to get her to leave with them. This started a fight between Ronald and Misty’s brother and the charge of burglary was because he entered the van to hit the brother. Misty’s family say they came to get her when she told them she wanted to leave Ronald. He has been released on 12,000.00 bail and wants charges pressed on the family of Misty. Now…IS ANYONE LOOKING FOR HALEIGH???

     As sad as these stories are, what is more sad is that there are hundreds if not thousands of these everyday that slip under the radar. How are these children supposed to learn the skills they need for life? Skills to raise their own? Is this just what happens now, you do this to your child and they do it to theirs? When is enough enough and when are they going to come down on these parents hard enough to make another one think twice before doing the same thing?

 

    

 

Sociopath, Aspergers,Narcissist, or Just Plain Selfish?

     There have been numerous articles written as to what experts believe is the “syndrome” that Casey Anthony suffers from. She has been said to be a sociopath, a narcissist, one claimed Aspergers, borderline personality disorder and many other descriptions. I have read so many definitions of these syndromes and can see Casey Anthony in alot of them. Yet I wonder, does she really have a disorder or is she just a selfish spoiled immature young woman who wanted a life of her own and therefore felt the only way to achieve that was to rid herself of the burden she gave birth to? Was she that self centered that Caylee was interfering with her “me time” and instead of giving her to her parents and letting Cindy remind her over and over “I told you so” she felt it was better to take this baby’s life as if she never mattered? Was Caylee her pawn? Was she really the loving mother her own mother described her as, or was she the manipulative and patholigical liar that others have said she is? Was she a loving mother prior to Cindy knowing that everything that she said would be taken apart piece by piece, or was she a huge disappointment to the Anthony’s and this was yet another mistake she made?

     I decided to look into what each definition really means and how Casey fits into each of them. If you have any others that you think suit her better please feel free to comment as I am inlove with learning! I am going to put an asterisk next to each portion of the definition that I think fits Casey. Let me know if you think she is one more than other or something totally different.

SOCIOPATH:  Glibness (non chalant), superficial charm.   *                 

~Manipulative and Conning:  *They never recognize the rights of others and see their self-serving behaviors as permissible.

They appear to be charming, yet are covertly hostile and domineering, seeing their victim as merely an instrument to be used. They may dominate and humiliate their victims.

**Grandiose Sense of Self
*Feels entitled to certain things as “their right.”

 

Pathological Lying *
Has no problem lying coolly and easily and it is almost impossible for them to be truthful on a consistent basis. Can create, and get caught up in, a complex belief about their own powers and abilities. Extremely convincing and even able to pass lie detector tests.

Lack of Remorse, Shame or Guilt *
A deep seated rage, which is split off and repressed, is at their core. Does not see others around them as people, but only as targets and opportunities. Instead of friends, they have victims and accomplices who end up as victims. The end always justifies the means and they let nothing stand in their way.

Shallow Emotions *
When they show what seems to be warmth, joy, love and compassion it is more feigned than experienced and serves an ulterior motive. Outraged by insignificant matters, yet remaining unmoved and cold by what would upset a normal person. Since they are not genuine, neither are their promises.

Incapacity for Love

Living on the edge. Verbal outbursts and physical punishments are normal. Promiscuity **and gambling are common.

Callousness/Lack of Empathy *
Unable to empathize with the pain of their victims, having only contempt for others’ feelings of distress and readily taking advantage of them.

Rage and abuse, alternating with small expressions of love and approval produce an addictive cycle for abuser and abused, as well as creating hopelessness in the victim. *Believe they are all-powerful, all-knowing, entitled to every wish, no sense of personal boundaries, no concern for their impact on others.

Early Behavior Problems/Juvenile Delinquency
Usually has a history of behavioral and academic difficulties, yet “gets by” by conning others. Problems in making and keeping friends; aberrant behaviors such as cruelty to people or animals, stealing, etc.

Not concerned about wrecking others’ lives and dreams. Oblivious or indifferent to the devastation they cause. Does not accept blame themselves, but blames others, even for acts they obviously committed.

Antisocial Personality Disorder Overview (Written by Derek Wood, RN, BSN, PhD Candidate)

Antisocial Personality Disorder results in what is commonly known as a Sociopath. The criteria for this disorder require an ongoing disregard for the rights of others, since the age of 15 years. Some examples of this disregard are reckless disregard for the safety of themselves or others, failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors, *deceitfulness such as repeated lying or deceit for personal profit or pleasure, and *lack of remorse for actions that hurt other people in any way. Additionally, they must have evidenced a Conduct Disorder before the age of 15 years, and must be at least 18 years old to receive this diagnosis.

People with this disorder appear to be *charming at times, and make relationships, but to them, these are relationships in name only. They are ended whenever necessary or when it suits them, and the relationships are without depth or meaning, including marriages. They seem to have an innate ability to find the weakness in people, and are ready to use these weaknesses to their own ends through deceit, manipulation, or intimidation, and gain pleasure from doing so.

They appear to be* incapable of any true emotions, from love to shame to guilt. They are quick to anger, but just as quick to let it go, without holding grudges. No matter what emotion they state they have, it has no bearing on their future actions or attitudes.

*They rarely are able to have jobs that last for any length of time, as they become easily bored, instead needing constant change. *They live for the moment, forgetting the past, and not planning the future, not thinking ahead what consequences their actions will have. They want immediate rewards and gratification. There currently is no form of psychotherapy that works with those with antisocial personality disorder, as those with this disorder have no desire to change themselves, which is a prerequisite. No medication is available either. The only treatment is the prevention of the disorder in the early stages, when a child first begins to show the symptoms of conduct disorder.

Psychopath

Psychopaths exhibit a Jekyll and Hyde personality. “They play a part so they can get what they want,” says Dr. Sheila Willson, a Toronto psychologist who has helped victims of psychopaths. The guy who showers a woman with excessive attention is much more capable of getting her to lend him money, and to put up with him when he strays. *The new employee who gains her co-workers’ trust has more access to their chequebooks. And so on. Psychopaths have no conscience and their only goal is self-gratification. Many of us have been their victims — at work, through friendships or relationships — and not one of us can say, “a psychopath could never fool me.”

Psychopaths have only a shallow range of emotions and lack guilt, says Hare. **They often see themselves as victims, and lack remorse or the ability to empathize with others. “Psychopaths play on the fact that most of us are trusting and forgiving people,” adds Seto. The warning signs are always there; it’s just difficult to see them because once we trust someone, the friendship becomes a blinder.

For a psychopath, a romantic relationship is just another opportunity to find a trusting partner who will buy into the lies. It’s primarily why a psychopath rarely stays in a relationship for the long term, and often is involved with three or four partners at once, says Willson. To a psychopath, everything about a relationship is a game.

Where we might occasionally tell a white lie, a psychopath’s *lying is compulsive. Most of us experience some degree of guilt about lying, preventing us from exhibiting such behavior on a regular basis. “Psychopaths don’t discriminate who it is they lie to or cheat,” says Seto. “There’s no distinction between friend, family and sucker.”

Psychopaths also tend to switch jobs as frequently as they switch partners, mainly because they don’t have the qualities to maintain a job for the long haul. Their performance is generally erratic, with chronic absences, misuse of company resources and failed commitments. Often they aren’t even qualified for the job and use fake credentials to get it. ~Dr. Sheila Willson, a Toronto psychologist who has helped victims of psychopaths /~Michael Seto, a psychologist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental health in Toronto

THE MALIGNANT PERSONALITY:

These people are mentally ill and extremely dangerous!

First, to recognize them, keep the following guidelines in mind.

(1) *They are habitual liars. They seem incapable of either knowing or telling the truth about anything.

(2) They are egotistical to the point of narcissism. They really believe they are set apart from the rest of humanity by some special grace.

(3) *They scapegoat; they are incapable of either having the insight or willingness to accept responsibility for anything they do. Whatever the problem, it is always someone else’s fault.

(4) They are remorselessly vindictive when thwarted or exposed.

(5) Genuine religious, moral, or other values play no part in their lives. They have no empathy for others and are capable of violence. Under older psychological terminology, they fall into the category of psychopath or sociopath, but unlike the typical psychopath, their behavior is masked by a superficial social facade.

Narcissist:      inordinate fascination with oneself; excessive self-love; vanity. Psychoanalysis: erotic gratification derived from admiration of one’s own physical or mental attributes, being a normal condition at the infantile level of personality development.

Symptoms of Narcissm:

• Believing that you’re better than others
• Fantasizing about power, success and attractiveness
• *Exaggerating your achievements or talents
• Expecting constant praise and admiration
• Believing that you’re special
• *Failing to recognize other people’s emotions and feelings
• Expecting others to go along with your ideas and plans
• *Taking advantage of others
• Expressing disdain for those you feel are inferior
• Being jealous of others
• Believing that others are jealous of you
• *Trouble keeping healthy relationships
• Setting unrealistic goals
• Being easily hurt and rejected
• Having a fragile self-esteem
• *Appearing as tough-minded or unemotional

Although some features of narcissistic personality disorder may seem like having confidence or strong self-esteem, it’s not the same. Narcissistic personality disorder crosses the border of healthy confidence and self-esteem into thinking so highly of yourself that you put yourself on a pedestal. In contrast, people who have healthy confidence and self-esteem don’t value themselves more than they value others.

When you have narcissistic personality disorder, you may come across as conceited, boastful or pretentious. You often monopolize conversations. You may belittle or look down on people you perceive as inferior. You may have a sense of entitlement. And when you don’t receive the special treatment to which you feel entitled, you may become very impatient or angry. You may also seek out others you think have the same special talents, power and qualities — people you see as equals. You may insist on having “the best” of everything — the best car, athletic club, medical care or social circles, for instance.

But underneath all this grandiosity often lies a very fragile self-esteem. You have trouble handling anything that may be perceived as criticism. You may have a sense of secret shame and humiliation. And in order to make yourself feel better, you may react with rage or contempt and efforts to belittle the other person to make yourself appear better

Asperger’s Syndrome

delays in the development of many basic skills, most notably the ability to socialize with others, to communicate and to use imagination.

• Problems with social skills: Children with Asperger’s syndrome generally have difficulty interacting with others and often are awkward in social situations. They generally do not make friends easily.
• Eccentric or repetitive behaviors: Children with this condition may develop odd, repetitive movements, such as hand wringing or finger twisting.
• Unusual preoccupations or rituals: A child with Asperger’s syndrome may develop rituals that he or she refuses to alter, such as getting dressed in a specific order.
• Communication difficulties: People with Asperger’s syndrome may not make eye contact when speaking with someone. They may have trouble using facial expressions and gestures, and understanding body language. They also tend to have problems understanding language in context.
• Limited range of interests: A child with Asperger’s syndrome may develop an intense, almost obsessive, interest in a few areas, such as sports schedules, weather or maps.
• Coordination problems: The movements of children with Asperger’s syndrome may seem clumsy or awkward.
• Skilled or talented: Many children with Asperger’s syndrome are exceptionally talented or skilled in a particular area, such as music or math.
• In my opinion I do not see Casey Anthony in any of the symptoms of Aspergers.

Borderline personality disorder

 (BPD) is a psychiatric diagnosis in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV Personality Disorders 301.83)^[1] that describes a prolonged disturbance of personality function characterized by depth and variability of moods.

Symptoms:

 

• Frantic efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment
• *A pattern of unstable and intense interpersonal relationships characterized by alternating between extremes of idealization and devaluation *
• Identity disturbance: markedly and persistently unstable self-image or sense of self
• *Impulsivity in at least two areas that are potentially self-damaging (e.g., spending, sex, substance abuse, reckless driving, binge eating)
• Recurrent suicidal behavior, gestures, or threats, or self-mutilating behavior
• Affective instability due to a marked reactivity of mood (e.g., intense episodic dysphoria, irritability, or anxiety usually lasting a few hours and only rarely more than a few days)
• Chronic feelings of emptiness
• Inappropriate, intense anger or difficulty controlling anger (e.g., frequent displays of temper, constant anger, recurrent physical fights)
• Transient, stress-related paranoid ideation or severe dissociative symptoms

 

Bi Polar Disorder

Bi polar disorder (also known as manic depression) causes serious shifts in a person’s mood, energy, thinking, and behavior – from the highs of mania on one extreme, to the lows of depression on the other. 

The distinguishing characteristic of Bipolar Disorder, as compared to other mood disorders, is the presence of at least one manic episode. Additionally, it is presumed to be a chronic condition because the vast majority of individuals who have one manic episode have additional episodes in the future. The statistics suggest that four episodes in ten years is an average, without preventative treatment. Every individual with bipolar disorder has a unique pattern of mood cycles, combining depression and manic episodes, that is specific to that individual, but predictable once the pattern is identified. Research studies suggest a strong genetic influence in bipolar disorder.

Bipolar disorder typically begins in adolescence or early adulthood and continues throughout life. It is often not recognized as a psychological problem, because it is episodic. Consequently, those who have it may suffer needlessly for years without treatment.

Effective treatment is available for bipolar disorder. Without treatment, marital breakups, job loss, alcohol and drug abuse, and suicide may result from the chronic, episodic mood swings. The most significant treatment issue is noncompliance with treatment. Most individuals with bipolar disorder do not perceive their manic episodes as needing treatment, and they resist entering treatment. In fact, most people report feeling very good during the beginning of a manic episode, and don’t want it to stop. This is a serious judgment problem. As the manic episode progresses, concentration becomes difficult, thinking becomes more grandiose, and problems develop. Unfortunately, the risk taking behavior usually results in significant painful consequences such as loss of a job or a relationship, running up excessive debts, or getting into legal difficulties. Many individuals with bipolar disorder abuse drugs or alcohol during manic episodes, and some of these develop secondary substance abuse problems.

 

Facts About Bipolar Illness

More than 2 million Americans have manic-depressive illness. It is extremely distressing and disruptive to their lives.

Like any serious illness, bipolar disorder also creates problems for spouses, family members, friends, and employers.

Family members of people with bipolar disorder often have to cope with serious behavioral problems (such as wild spending sprees) and the lasting consequences of these behaviors.

Bipolar disorder tends to run in families, and there is strong evidence that it is inherited. However, despite ongoing research efforts, a specific genetic defect associated with the disease has not yet been identified.

Bipolar illness has been diagnosed in children under age 12, although it is not common in this age bracket. The symptoms can be confused with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, so careful diagnosis is necessary.

 

What is a manic episode?

A manic episode is an abnormally elevated, expansive or irritable mood, not related to substance abuse or a medical condition, that lasts for at least a week, and includes a number of disturbances in behavior and thinking that results in significant life adjustment problems. Chronic behavior that appears somewhat similar to manic behavior is more likely ADHD or evidence of personality problem.

It may be helpful to think of the various mood states in manic-depressive illness as a spectrum or continuous range. At one end is severe depression, which shades into moderate depression; then come mild and brief mood disturbances that many people call “the blues,” then normal mood, then hypomania (a mild form of mania), and then mania.

Some people with untreated bipolar disorder have repeated depressions and only an occasional episode of hypomania (bipolar II). In the other extreme, mania may be the main problem and depression may occur only infrequently. In fact, symptoms of mania and depression may be mixed together in a single “mixed” bipolar state.

Descriptions of Mood States

Here are some first-person accounts of the various mood states associated with bipolar disorder:

Depression:

I doubt completely my ability to do anything well. It seems as though my mind has slowed down and burned out to the point of being virtually useless. I am haunted with the desperate hopelessness of it all. Others say, “It’s only temporary, it will pass, you will get over it,” but of course they haven’t any idea of how I feel, although they are certain they do. If I can’t feel, move, think, or care, then what on earth is the point?

Hypomania:

At first when I’m high, it’s tremendous…ideas are fast…like shooting stars you follow until brighter ones appear…all shyness disappears, the right words and gestures are suddenly there…uninteresting people, things, become intensely interesting. Sensuality is pervasive, the desire to seduce and be seduced is irresistible. Your marrow is infused with unbelievable feelings of ease, power, well-being, omnipotence, euphoria…you can do anything…but, somewhere this changes.

Mania:

The fast ideas become too fast and there are far too many…overwhelming confusion replaces clarity…you stop keeping up with it–memory goes. Infectious humor ceases to amuse. Your friends become frightened…everything is now against the grain…you are irritable, angry, frightened, uncontrollable, and trapped.

Recognition of the various mood states is essential so that the person who has manic-depressive illness can obtain effective treatment and avoid the harmful consequences of the disease, which include destruction of personal relationships, loss of employment, and suicide.

 

Features of a Depressive Episode

Persistent sad, anxious, or empty mood

Feeling helpless, guilty, or worthless

Hopeless or pessimistic feelings

Loss of pleasure in usual activities

Decreased energy

Loss of memory or concentration

Irritability or restlessness

Sleep disturbances

Loss of or increase in appetite

Persistent thoughts of death

 

Features of a Manic Episode

Extreme irritability & distractibility

Excessive “high” or euphoric feelings

*Sustained periods of unusual, even bizarre, behavior with significant risk-taking

Increased energy, activity, rapid talking & thinking, agitation

Decreased sleep

Unrealistic belief in one’s own abilities

*Poor judgment

*Increased sex drive ( I am labeling this as part of her promiscuity issue)

Substance abuse

*Provocative or obnoxious behavior

*Denial of problem

 

Factors Preventing Early Detection of Bipolar Disorder

An early sign of manic-depressive illness may be hypomania–a state in which the person shows a high level of energy, excessive moodiness or irritability, and impulsive or reckless behavior. Hypomania may feel good to the person who experiences it. Thus, even when family and friends learn to recognize the mood swings, the individual often will deny that anything is wrong. In its early stages, bipolar disorder may masquerade as a problem other than mental illness. For example, it may first appear as alcohol or drug abuse, or poor school or work performance. If left untreated, bipolar disorder tends to worsen, and the person experiences episodes of full-fledged mania and clinical depression.

 

Treatment of Bipolar Disorder

Psychological treatment often focuses on the life adjustment problems that develop because of the manic episodes, and in helping the individual recognize the onset of a manic episode and take corrective action. Supportive counseling is needed, to help the individual accept that he/she has a chronic psychological problem that will have a major impact on life management. Anyone with bipolar disorder should be under the care of a psychiatrist skilled in its diagnosis and treatment, as well as a psychologist. Psychologists provide the individual and his/her family with support, education, coping skills training, They also help monitor the symptoms and encourage the individual to continue medical treatment. The psychiatrist monitors the medication that is usually required with this disorder.

Most people with manic depressive illness can be helped with treatment.

Almost all people with bipolar disorder–even those with the most severe forms–can obtain substantial stabilization of their mood swings. One medication, lithium, is usually very effective in controlling mania and preventing the recurrence of both manic and depressive episodes. Most recently, the mood stabilizing anticonvulsants carbamazepine and valproate have also been found useful, especially in more refractory bipolar episodes. Often these medications are combined with lithium for maximum effect.

 

Treatment Issues

Symptoms of bipolar disorder may prevent those affected from recognizing that they have an illness. Family, friends, and primary care physicians should provide encouragement and referrals for treatment. Psychological treatment can help the person and his/her family cope with the life management problems created by bipolar disorder. Medical treatment is usually needed to control mood swings with medication. To ensure proper treatment and personal safety, commitment to a hospital may be necessary for a person in a severe episode. Hospital commitment, which is placing a person in the hospital against their will, is sometimes necessary with bipolar disorder because of the effects of manic episodes. While the person is “high” he/she is not rational, and may engage in activities that are a threat to themselves or others. The person cannot understand the need for hospitalization because of the disturbance that occurs to his/her judgment. Suicidal thoughts, remarks, or behaviors should always be given immediate attention by a qualified professional. It is not true that if a person talks about suicide, they will not kill themselves. Self-destructive thoughts are sometimes acted out indirectly. For example, a person may drive excessively fast, or take drugs, or start confrontations with others, as a way to harm himself/herself. With appropriate treatment, the suicidal thoughts and behavior can be controlled and eliminated.

Bipolar disorder is a lifetime illness. To keep his/her mood stable, ongoing treatment is needed, even when the person is feeling better. It may take time to discover the best treatment regimen for an individual. It is very important for both the person with bipolar disorder, and his/her family, to work with a psychologist and physician to develop the most appropriate treatment plan. In addition to treatment, mutual support self-help groups can benefit patients and their families. National Depressive and Manic Depressive Association (NDMDA) and National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) sponsor such groups.

I would assume if I continued to dig there would be many other disorders I am able to twist and turn to make them fit perfectly for Casey Anthony. However, perhaps she is nothing more than a product of never being accountable for anything? Perhaps she truly believes that because her parents always made things okay , this would be another thing they could get her out of…

Where are the Key Players Hiding? And Why?

     There has been an almost eerie quiet surrounding the Casey Anthony case. Maybe to some it does not seem that way, but when I think about the last year and the coverage of this case, it appears as though those who could not be front and center enough have quietly faded into the background. There is no more media hype, no more Cindyisms, no reports on what Casey bought at the commissary( although I am not complaining about that), no more Leonard Padilla remembering an interesting piece of information, and so on.

     So that leads to me to wonder why? Has Jose Baez learned that he looks like a moron when he opens his mouth on tv? Has Brad Conway finally been able to control the Anthony’s? Has Leonard Padilla moved on to something new? 

     It seems to me that Jose Baez became very quiet once Andrea Lyon arrived on the scene… Perhaps she has told him that he is losing this case in the media and that he is no longer to give statements? Because even his interview with Holly Bristow recently was a little more subdued.

     The State recently requested information from George and Cindy Anthony. While they will not comment on what it is they wanted, it is been said that it is pertaining to the information they have that took place between them and their private investigators. Dominic Casey and James Hoover are the PIs that worked for the Anthony’s and followed up on leads pertaining to Caylee. There have been alot of questions about how involved these two were, how many leads they didn’t forward to LE, and the biggest question of all: Who sent Dominic Casey into the woods to find Caylee? He has said that he was talking to two different people, refused to give up cell phone records, did not show up at the deposition for Zenaida Gonzales, and it has been speculated that there was more than a working relationship with Cindy Anthony.

     Normally over the last year if the Anthony’s were going to court, or going anywhere for that matter, they were all over the media. The statements Cindy made are the very ones that have led most to believe she should be charged with obstruction. She normally would be taking every opportunity to run off at the mouth. Yet, this time their Attorney Brad Conway delivered the documents needed so as to not have the Anthony’s even need to be at a hearing. Are they finally able to see that they are doing nothing but damaging any hopes for their daughter to be found of anything less than guilty? Did Brad Conway finally get the control he should have had long ago?

     The prosecution recently requested the transcripts from the hearing behind closed doors on March 25th. The hearing was to determine how the defense was being paid and if there was any conflict of interest. It was said that the meeting was attended by the court reporter and that the transcripts were to be used in the trial. However, there appears to be no transcript of the meeting???? It was said that the meeting weas held off record. Is that allowed? I don’t know, but I know that it sure sounds strange to me that the one thing that causes so many to believe that someone is making money off this case is done off record.

     My thinking is that everyone involved in this case is quietly fading into the background in hopes that many will forget about this case. If they don’t stay front and center then perhaps by time the trial comes there will be more of a chance for them to persuade a jury that Casey is a victim? Not if they call the bloggers of wordpress to sit on the jury…

 

JUSTICE IS STILL A LONG WAYS AWAY FOR CAYLEE…

     While it seems like I haven’t written about Caylee in a long time, I have been reading and reading and reading some more.

     The media has been pretty quiet if compared to the last year, only a few little stories here and there. The delay of the trial was probably one of the biggest disappointments so far. According to the motion filed, it is because the trial will conflict with Dr. Andrea Lyons teaching schedule. So for now the pre trial is set for January 2010. Of course by January 2010 I am sure they will find many other motions to file. Is it believeable that Casey Anthony could sit in jail for three years before this case will even go to trial? Now, I am not of course affiliated in any way with the criminal justice system but, maybe the good Dr. could have graciously stepped aside if this case was too much… Just a thought. I don’t think that Casey deserves to have the luxury of sitting in jail and waiting. However, our justice system says she does.

     The prosecution filed a motion to have the check fraud charges go to trial within two months. I’m not sure who poited it out to me but it was said that it is because if they have a prior conviction at the time of her trial for Caylees murder it is easier to get the deathpenalty conviction as opposed to someone with no previous record. Of course Baez wants it delayed until after the murder trial. Imagine that! One thing I do know, even though Baez to me is the most unqualified attorney I have seen, by the end of this whole saga he should be quite the expert should a defendant want to have their trial delayed or file every possible motion there is in order to delay.

     In the civil suit pertaining to Zenaida Gonzales, a court date has been set to hold Dominic Casey in contempt for not appearing at his scheduled deposition. D. Casey claims that the information he has pertaining to this case is priviledged and private. The lawyers for Zenaida believe otherwise and are also asking that Cindy, George and Lee Anthony be forced to answer the questions that they refused to during their depositions. This will supposedly take place during September.

     JOSE BAEZ SENT A CHECK TO BANK OF AMERICA! This to me is the epitome of STUPID STUPID STUPID! It appears as though a check for the exact amount of money stolen from Amy H.’s account by Casey Anthony was sent to Bank of America by Jose Baez’s office. Bank of America sent a letter confirming receipt of the money order however stated that the payment does not stop any criminal charges against the defendant. I have to admit that this really made me laugh. What the h*ll was he thinking? I know that it has been stated that he will be able to say that Amy was reimbursed by the bank and that Casey has paid back the money so there is no need for a trial. However, if Casey is not working and Baez has no rights to any monies obtained by any story or pictures sold, who paid the debt? Well it came from his office but who did it really come from?

     This leads right into the prosecution filing another motion to re open the inquiry as to how the defense is being funded. They want the transcripts from the closed door meeting that took place in which it was decided that there was no conflict of interest and that Casey Anthony nor the defense has to reveal the source of income that is paying the defense. Hmmm… this will be interesting.

     Jose Baez recently gave an interview with Holly Bristow and when asked about his initial thoughts on this case he claimed he thought it was a simple case of “child neglect”. FIRST OF ALL, CHILD NEGLECT IS NOT “SIMPLE” ! Secondly why was that his intial thought? She was “missing” for thirty one days and supposedly taken by the “Nanny” so why would her lawyer believe it was neglect? Oh I just love when he speaks, he really gives himself away in so many ways.

     Lastly, the media has filed a motion to get the blocked tape from the jail released. Haven’t heard much on this, but don’t really care if they do or don’t. I don’t need to see the reaction of Casey to decide whether or not I think she killed her daughter… She did plain and simple.

     For now, we wait again for Caylee to get the justice she deserves. I hope Casey is enjoying her time and not too bored in her jail cell. I hope she isn’t still crying that she has nobody… Who did Caylee have???

IS FOSTER CARE HAYLEE DONATHAN’S BEST CHANCE?

Haylee Donathan is four years old. She was the focus of a nationwide man hunt after disappearing with her mother and the mothers boyfriend. The boyfriend escaped from a halfway house, with the mothers help. Oh, did I mention he was a convicted child molester? Did I also mention that Haylees mom helped him escape, let him sleep in the same bed with her daughter, and has a brother who is also a convicted sexual predator?

As we all know, by the grace of God, this child has been found. She is safe and appears to be unharmed. Her mother, while I use the term loosely is currently awaiting a trial or something. I really don’t care much about that other than I hope she never gets this child again.

Mary Watson is the childs grandmother who has been granted emergency guardianship, only for the sake of issuing the amber alert. While I do not think for a minute this woman would ever intentionally harm this baby, I do think that the circumstances surrounding two of Mary’s children do not make her home the best choice for Haylee.

She is going to be placed in foster care. I know there are horror stories about some foster homes, but I have met wonderful foster parents over the years. Of course you are only ever going to hear the bad things. Just like plane crashes and such, only the bad news is worth talking about.

I have absolutely no idea if Haylee was ever harmed at the hands of her uncle or her mothers boyfriend. What I do know is that she could have been. It may not have happened for some time but in all probability it most likely would have. Her mother obviously had no concern as to her childs safety. What mother lets her new boyfriend of , oh two days sleep in the same bed as her child? What normal mother would allow a man to even meet her child after two days?

Mary Watson says she wants what is best for Haylee. I believe that and I also believe that while she should not be cut out of her life, she should not reside in the home with her until things are a little more clear. We only know what we have seen on tv from Mary. We see her as a grandmother who wants her grandchild back. However, her son was allowed to watch Haylee and Mary never thought twice about that. Whether he was her son or not, he was a child predator. He should never have been allowed near her. I fault the entire family for the circumstances leading up to Haylee disappearing.

Let her go to the foster home, let her be monitored, let her have visitation with her grandmother and lets see how it all plays out. They say the first three years of a childs life molds them into the person they will be when they are older. Lets hope Haylee will have a chance and become something great in this life, and not the woman her mother is…

MICHAEL JACKSON WAS ALSO A HUMAN BEING….

     No matter who you are or where you are, Michael Jackson is a name synonomous with labels such as: icon, musical genius, gifted, rare talent, etc. Yet after watching the memorial yesterday, for the first time the world was shown Michael Jackson a human being. A man who wanted to show the world all the beauty there was. A man who loved those dear to him deeply, cared about his fellow man whether rich or poor, lived for his children and gave back too many times to count. Yes, he was a performer in every sense of the word and there will never be another like him. However, yesterday he was a son, a father a brother and a friend. Yesterday’s memorial humanized him.The memories that were shared by his friends and family, allowed the world to see that he was so much more than a media story,a front page tragedy, or the crazy person that he has been portrayed as.

     If ever there was speculation of him being fit to raise children, yesterday that speculation should have been put to rest. For the first time ever, his daughter Paris spoke and at that moment she was not “The King Of Pop’s Daughter”, she was a little girl who lost her daddy. She was overcome with grief and she was comforted not by “The Jacksons”, but by her family. That is what they were. Yes they are a talented phenomenon, but yesterday they were a family grieving for the loss of their loved one. Janet Jackson was nothing more than an aunt putting a protective arm around her niece and hurting for her having to hurt so bad. It was an honor that the Jackson Family allowed the public to be a part of their grieving. They allowed the world into one of the most private moments we as people experience when we lose a loved one. Yes, the world lost an amazing soul, but the family lost so much more than that. There will never be another Michael Jackson and in the words of his brother Marlon: ” I hope they leave you alone now” RIP

WHETHER YOU LOVED HIM OR HATED HIM, MICHAEL JACKSON LEFT HIS MARK ON THIS WORLD…

   If you were a teenager in the late 60’s, Michael Jackson was the adorable 5 year old responsible for taking his brothers group “The Jacksons” from just another musical group to celebrity status. At five years old he already had the making of a star with not only his voice, but the incredible dance moves that were unlike any other.

If you were a teen or young adult in the 70’s Michael Jackson was, although still part of the re named “Jacksons”, an incredible performer, who released one of the best selling albums in that era. Off the Wall was his first solo album and although he remained part of the group he had shared with his brothers, Michael was the shining star and the group took a back seat to his solo career. His unique talent shown through on his major hit “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough” and his appearance in “The Wiz” along side Diana Ross left fans waiting for the Next Big Thing that would come from Michael.

It was in the 80’s that I most remember Michael Jackson. I was about thirteen when “Thriller” was the album to have. I remember watching him moonwalk across the stage, screaming and yes crying when he performed, spoke or did nothing more than stand there. It was the first time I can remember that I had that teenage crush. It never occured to me that he was a different race than I was, although my father noticed.

             (Just to interject a little note here about my father’s beliefs: )    I grew up in the Bronx in New York City until the age of eleven. You did not mix race, creed or color. I was raised in an Irish Italian section and your heritage was the most important thing. Unless traveling to Manhattan on the subway, I very rarely saw another race.

Back to Michael Jackson: The day I got the Thriller album, I must have played it all the way through at least ten times. By the end of the day I knew every word to every song and there was not a bad song on that album. My bedroom walls did not have a bare spot on them thanks to Teen Beat magazine. Every week I was able to add another poster or picture of Michael Jackson to my room. Anyone who was growing up in that era will remember the “pleather” zipper jacket and most of us had one in either red or black. The two talent shows that took place at my school every year were filled with dance routines from the Thriller album and the girls in our school began looking for their own “Michael” to date . We had one group of five boys who not only perfected his moves, but had the look down and the most popular girls in the school who were all white were dating every one of them. This was of course after Michael Jackson took Brooke Shields to the Grammy awards.

He was a star in every sense of the word and I have often compared his status to that of Elvis. He broke the race barriers, he loved his fans and no matter what he did, he was cool.

I don’t know when I stopped being “crazy” over Michael Jackson. I am sure it came with age and although I loved to watch him perform even now, nothing compared to his “Thriller” days.

In the nineties when he began distorting himself beyond recognition, and then was accused of abuse against a boy, I was saddened to say the least. How could this man who was such a part of the memories of my teenage years be accused of these horrible things? He had always seemed like such a child advocate and now I questioned whether it was that he really was a sexual predator.

I thought about the Neverland Ranch and that he surrounded himself with children. I always believed that it was because he lost so much of his childhood by being a star at such a young age that he was still child like himself. But was he? To this day I am not sure. I have seen the interviews, the claims made against him, the long and drawn out trial and his acquittal, and yet I still don’t know. I would like to believe that he could never hurt a child because nobody wants to believe that someone would, but can I say honestly that he didn’t? No

The boy who claimed that he was sexually assaulted in 1993 by Michael Jackson apparently has recanted his claim. His family settled out of court for 23 million dollars and now this boy is claiming that his father made him say it. Do I believe this? I don’t know what to believe. That is how it seems to have been for the last 15 or so years of his life. Are these just money hungry people? The only thing that stops me from proclaiming his innocence is that I swore I would never be one of those people who would dismiss a childs claim against any adult that abused them.

His life was seemingly surrounded by those who could profit from him. Alot of things in the later years seemed to me as nothing more than publicity stunts. The marriage to Lisa Marie Presely, the marriage to the hygenist, the children being forced to wear masks in public and yet really have no idea that is not normal, and mostly that they probably did not understand that their father was one of the most popular celebrities ever.

I remember thinking that Debbie Rowe was someone I would never want to know. Not even because she was a woman who was basically paid to have his children, but because when I heard her state in an interview that : “The kids don’t call me mom, I don’t want them to. They are Michaels children not mine” I was sickened. I don’t care if there was a contract or what have you, anyone that has ever carried a child knows the bond a mother has long before they enter this world. I often wonder how those kids will feel when they do ever come across the words spoken by their mother?

So the world has lost an amazing icon, and yet the Michael Jackson I used to go crazy over was gone a long time ago. My only thoughts now are for those children. Not because they are his children, but because they are children plain and simple. Children who have lost a father. I am sad they have no mother to comfort them, that the world they have known is gone and they must deal with not only the loss they have sustained but the things they will hear, see and read. Mostly,I hope they will be allowed to be children and not be the next “financial” gain in this family…

THE WALLS ARE CLOSING IN CASEY… AND A COUPLE OF OTHER THOUGHTS

     The prosecution has requested to photograph the tattoo that Casey Anthony got in the time she was “looking frantically” for her 2 year old daughter. The owner of the tattoo parlor stated that Casey was a frequent visitor and that he had seen Caylee numerous times. When he asked where she was that day he was given the same “Nanny” story , and Casey said she would bring Caylee with her when she came for the next appointment the following Saturday.

BELLA VITA~ BEAUTIFUL LIFE:  We have all heard about this tattoo for a long time, and have even read the statement from the owner of the shop. So why I am again infuriated over this?

     I think I am more angry now after the release of the autopsy report. To know that little baby suffered a terrible death and her mother was out living it up makes me want to take a trip to the jail and visit with Ms. Casey.

     While there is a lot of controversy over Nancy Grace and the way she reports things, last night she was truly heartbroken while trying to discuss the autopsy. How could someone not be? How can Casey Anthony sit in that courtroom and jail cell and not break? I understand the narcissism and sociopath reasoning, but at some point this has got to be too much. At some point, day after day, listening to the reports, seeing the mass media coverage, and hearing what that little one went through, how do you not go insane? Does she really think if she continues this “nanny” story that all of this is going to just go away? Is she that “off” that she really believes she is not going to be accountable for this? Her parents have gotten her out of everything in her life and made excuses for every wrong thing she did instead of showing her cause and effect, and yet they can’t get her out of this one.

     They have to be living a life of hell, how could they not be? While I will say alot of the accusations about them have been brought on by themselves, they still have to be in hell. Yet what is it going to take for them to walk away from her and be Caylee’s voice? I know I will hear : “the daughter, you don’t how you would react, they are grieving and so this is them showing their grief, people grieve in different ways, blah blah blah. ” That is all fine and good, but if they are grieving so terribly, why are they not sitting on the other side of the court room ensuring that Caylee gets justice?

     The reports, documents, discovery and interviews that are released show nothing more than a mother who was tired of being a mother, a daughter who was going to have the last word, a family who I am not sure ever grasped what the definition of a family really is, a grandmother who although deeply loved her grand daughter and daughter; never taught her daughter the basic facts of life such as action and consequence, a grand father who IMO was pushed into a corner time and again and had no voice in the way things were done, and is now regretting that he didn’t stand up for this little girl. AND finally, a brother who IMO knows exactly what happened and is now distancing himself so as to not be brought down with his sister.

     Most importantly in all the documentation what I see is nothing more than a child who left this earth entirely too soon and for no reason at all.

      I have written before about the amount of children who are missing or dying at the hands of their parents and have wondered out loud if Casey Anthony started the “epidemic” or if I just haven’t noticed until now. To me it seems as though everyday I am hearing  a new case of  a child “abducted” only to be found dead and at the hands of their parents.

     Last week I was doing dishes and heard a girl begging and pleading for the return of her daughter. She was distraught and could barely speak. Daisja Weaver was 9 months old and her mother told a story of a break in and attempted sexual assault ending in the baby being kidnapped.

     I must admit the first thought that came to my head was “yeah right”, as I believe that a robber is a robber, a rapist is a rapist and a kidnapper is a kidnapper. Very rarely do you see all three combined together. However, was this my thought because I have been hardened by Casey Anthony and now will believe that every child missing is the victim of their parents? I hope not. 

     Daisja was already dead when her mother was on tv begging for someone to return her. She had been dead for two days and her mother knew exactly what happened. It seems according to the mothers story that her boyfriend picked her up at work and told her that he left the baby at home after giving her a bath. (FIRST OF ALL IS THIS NORMAL??) When they returned home the baby was apparently on the floor wrapped in a blanket and unresponsive. The pair; by the mothers own account, spent the night fabricating a story about her disappearance and the next day the boyfriend tied a sand bag to this little baby and thre her into the water. As of yet the police have not located her body as the water has no visibility.  

     The family stated from the beginning that the parents story did not seem plausible and they immediately suspected something was wrong. The mother, unable to contain her guilt finally broke to police and told her story. This could have ended so differently. Why was she so willing to aide her boyfriend in covering up this childs death of which she apparently had nothing to do with? Why would she not either A.) kill him B.)  Go to the police immediately and have him charged or  C.)Care at all about the baby and at least lay her to rest properly?

     What on earth is wrong with these women? I know I have spouted this before but I cannot for the life of me figure out how a woman chooses a man over her child. I have been with my husband since I am fourteen, he is the father of both of our children and I can say without a moments thought that if one day I had to choose between my husband and my children, there is no choice. Furthermore, I know he feels the same. As it should be.

     This brings me back to Casey Anthony. In quite a few of these cases over the last year, most of the mothers seem to “break” very quickly. Is it guilt? I think so. So why then can nobody seem to break Casey Anthony. Furthermore, are these women seeing that in a year, with all the evidence present yet no confession that Casey Anthony may in the end walk (it is possible) and therefore they think they will get away with it too?

Has she started an epidemic for lack of a better word? Is she the poster child for young mothers who are tired of not having their own lives and dispose of their children? Or is this all coincindence?

EVEN AFTER DEATH THERE WAS NO PEACE FOR CAYLEE…

     Caylee Anthony’s autopsy report was released today after Judge Strickland denied the Anthony Grandparent’s request to keep it sealed until the trial. Casey Anthony was not required to be in court today and so she wasn’t. I wonder if seeing her father distraught while pleading with the judge would have made any type of impact on Casey Anthony?

     The hearing itself was sad. As any of you who read this blog on a normal basis know, I am not a great supporter of any of the Anthony Family, but I am not without feeling either. It was really sad to see George Anthony begging with the judge to not allow the release of the Autopsy report. Some will say he was acting, some will say he is as crazy as his daughter. But what I saw was a man who is broken and has been broken many times in this unimaginable saga.

     He sat with a framed picture of Caylee and was genuine. I do not doubt that he misses that little girl, I do not doubt that he is walking a very thing line between mourning and going over the edge. Mos of all I have absolutely no doubt that he wishes things could have been different, that he or Cindy would have interjected much earlier and saved this little one.

     In the end Strickland did what he was supposed to do and released the report. When combined with the forensics report that was also released, it is a very long read but it was done methodically and with purpose.

     While I was reading I couldn’t help but think that Caylee was not at peace even after her death. Some of the report brought tears to my eyes. While all along I had known about the duct tape across the skull, what I hadn’t known is that it was not one piece of duct tape, it was layers and layers. A psychologist has explained this as an act that is done in rage to quiet one or stop any air intake.

     While I knew that the possibility of the bones being scattered by animals was the most likely, what I hadn’t been ready to think of was how each bone was labeled as to its position, location and the cause of where it was found and when.

     I knew that there was alot of growth from trees and vegetation and yet it never occured that this growth didn’t happen around her but also through her little skeleton.

     The missing pieces to alot of this story were summed up in the report. The question of when is pretty much answered. She was either not in a state of decomposition or in a very new state of decomposition when Casey dumped her there. (Yes dumped, not laid her, not buried her, dumped her) When compared to the forensic analysis of the level of decomposition in the car, it is their findings that when examined against the heat Caylee was in the car for less than 7 days when she began to decompose, and most likely with the Florida heat she could have started decomposing in just two days.

     The decomposition was tested against that of a squirrel and yes a pizza. In the end there was nothing proven but that it was human decomposition… Not cleaning products, not an animal and certainly not pizza.

     Is this the “junk science” that Baez referred to? Because if I were him I would have something way better up my sleeve.

     I cannot tell you if the report included pictures at all because I would never be able to look at them anyway. Reading the account of what that little girl went through after her death was almost too much. She wasn’t at peace in those woods and I am not sure she is at peace now.

     Casey Anthony deserves nothing less than a slow death and I would prefer it was in the trunk of a car with her mouth and nose duct taped shut and the temperatures unbareable. This is not an accident, this is not something that a mother does to her child, this isn’t anything more than a monster plain and simple.

     A defense attorney said on tv tonight that the one thing the defense has going for them is that the toxicology reports came back with no traces of any type of drugs at all( it was said that it could not be determined if drugs were ever present ) so this shows that Casey only did this act to Caylee once and so therefore they will try to show that she doesn’t deserve death. ONLY DID THIS ONCE? SO AS A MOTHER YOU ARE ALLOWED ONLY ONCE TO DUCT TAPE YOUR CHILDS MOUTH AND NOSE, DEPRIVE THEM OF OXYGEN IN A CAR THAT MOST LIKELY WAS OVER 110DEGREES AND THEN DUMP THEIR LITTLE BODIES IN THE WOODS FOR THE ANIMALS TO TEAR APART AND HOPE THAT THEY LEAVE NO EVIDENCE TO POINT BACK AT YOU????? How could this act be done more than once?

     No Casey Anthony does deserve the death penalty, and if we had an eye for an eye I would be one who would not shed a tear for her when she had to endure what Caylee did. She is the epitome of evil and I can’t help but wonder if George and Cindy have even put together the thought that they were probably next?

     Caylee will get her peace but not soon enough.

CAYLEE WAS REMEMBERED, BUT NOT BY THOSE WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE…

     Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of little Caylee Anthony’s death. It was actually the day she was reported missing and I am not sure we will ever truly know what day was her last here on earth.

     There was a memorial at J. Blanchard Park and while I live entirely too far away to have even thought of going, one of our fellow bloggers not only attended but gave a wonderful summary and pictures on his blog. http://marinadedave.wordpress.com/2009/06/16/butterflies-are-free-to-fly/

     I won’t reiterate his story as I have posted the link to his page. However small the attendance was it seemed like a beautiful ceremony and one that was done truly from the heart. You will hear about Richard Grund’s words and words from those who were unable to attend. You will see beautiful pictures of balloons and flowers, accompanied by a beautiful day. What you won’t see is: George and Cindy Anthony.

     The two people who should have by all accounts either been at the memorial or had one of their own were too busy making the rounds on the media train. There lawyer was picking up the slack by going on another show.

     Sure they mentioned Caylee, for without her name they wouldn’t be known at all. Of course they mentioned their foundation, what better day to mention it? George even somehow remembered a new piece of information about the last day he saw Caylee. I didn’t think I had ever heard about it before and yet just to be sure I checked. Sure enough nothing even remotely close was mentioned about this.                          

    “I remember putting her in the car, kissing her and waving good bye to her. That was the last time I ever saw my grand daughter.”

     No I am sure of it never being mentioned before. We all remember the story about how George was watching a show that he likes to watch before he goes to work, so it had to be somewhere between 12 and 1 o’clock. Casey and Caylee came out of the bedroom with their backpacks and said good bye and that was the last time he ever saw his grand daughter.

     What is this new lie going to accomplish? Well other than to again show that the Anthony’s Family will do whatever it takes to not tell the truth regardless of how it may get the justice their grand daughter deserves.

     Cindy made a slip up and then quickly tried to recover. I can’t quote it exactly but it was something pertaining to June15th being the hardest day for her in her life. The recover was almost immediate and said something along the lines of everyday is hard. So was she letting it slip that June 15th is the day she knows that something happened to Caylee? Because if the account of the big fight between Casey and Cindy is correct and Casey actually did either harm Caylee that night or left that night then my oh my we would definately have perjury wouldn’t we? Not that Cindy appears in any way to be afraid of perjury charges, no she perjurs herself constatnly and I really believe that she does not believe that law pertains to her. But… if we go back to Lee’s statement about the fight and the weeks following the fight, do we dare to believe that Casey is not the only one who had a hand in this? What if, and it is just a what if: Something happened that night, Casey either fled or was told to do so in order for the family to figure out what to do and it spiraled from there?

     I really don’t believe that the Anthony grandparents had anything to do with her death because maybe I cannot fathom or begin to even comprehend that. But what if they knew for longer than they claim? Well actually they claim they didn’t know until December, but if you look at the latest claims about the doctored up photo of the girl who was one of the sightings and that D. Casey is responsible for that pic, along with the claim that he and Cindy were entirely close, along with the fact that Lee disappeared, along with the fact that George tried to commit suicide, along with the fact…. well you get my gist. There are so many angles to this case and yet all are possible.

     Back to the anniversary of Caylee’s death, why weren’t those who were front and center throughout this entire last year fighting for her the ones to memorialize her? Why were they worried about plugging the foundation on the day that should have been about nothing more than reflecting on her short little life? Why was their attorney giving answers to questions about taking the stand when she is not even his client?

     Caylee Anthony may have only been remembered by the forty people in attendance, but those forty people seem to have had more love for that little one than the people she once called family….

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES…

     As I was reading through the latest pages of documents concerning the Casey Anthony case, I started to think about how many things can change in a year. It isn’t as if I am only now realizing this, I have had many trials and tribulations in regards to our own family and how everything that happens can and will impact an entire family.

     July 16th will be marked with many memorials, tributes, blogs and I am sure media stories for Caylee Anthony. Who would have believed that a little girl from Florida could become one of the most common names mentione in regards to crimes against children? There are thousands of children missing and yet Caylee will be remembered long after the trial, and long after the media moves on to another story.

     She was only two years old, she was by all accounts a normal happy little girl. Most of us did not know her and yet we hold a place for her in our hearts. Is it because we feel as though she was robbed of her childhood? Is it because we have watched those close to her become opportunists instead of justice seekers? Is it because as mothers we cannot fathom even on the worst of days being responsible for our childrens deaths? Perhaps it is because there seems to be nobody fighting for her.

     When I  see every news report, read every document and watch her family do publicity tours, I am so angry at them and yet have no idea who they are. Sure, I know what the media has portrayed them to be, I have seen them be ugly, but I don’t know them. I don’t know if they are truly opportunists although that is what I believe. However, time and again what I don’t see is someone screaming at the top of their lungs for justice for this little one.

     My husband has said I am obsessed about this case. I don’t think obsessed is correct. I don’t blog all day about this, I don’t set my schedule around court appearances, document dumps or interviews. I think it is more that I want to see Casey Anthony pay for what she did. I want her to come clean and stop all the games. I want her parents to stand up and say ” YOU KNOW WHAT, WE LOST OUR GRAND DAUGHTER AND WE REALIZED THAT OUR DAUGHTER IS RESPONSIBLE!” Most of all I want Caylee Anthony to be the focus in the media stories and yet the focus was taken off her a long time ago.

     In a year the things that have gone on surrounding this case are truly sad. When this started it was about a little girl that was so loved and a family that wanted nothing more than to bring her home, and now the name is spoken for profit and publicity. While there are always going to be opportunists when something like this happens, it is sad when those who are seeking monetary gain are the very ones who were crying and pleading for her return. Where did it shift? Was it after her little body was discovered? Was it then that they felt there was nothing they could do for her for so they turned the focus to helping their daughter? Or was it when they saw others profiting from sales that they thought why not? No matter when the shift was the entire thing sickens me to no end. It is not just her family involved either, now a book will be released and it is supposedly the story of this case. Yet this case has not even  begun to have an ending. The woman writing it has stated that she has no connection to anyone in this family, and have never even met them so it makes me wonder exactly how can she write a book about this baby and what happened to her. Nobody knows what happened to her so what exactly is this going to be? Maybe a summary of all the things we have read for the last year which are nothing more than opinions.

    In the end we are a year later and there is no justice for this baby. I feel like she is being forgotten along the way but I just hope that this year will bring closure to all of it. The case, the trial, the media frenzy and the people who are profiting from her senseless death…

RIP Caylee

THIS WORLD IS GOING CRAZY!

     Almost a year ago, a little girl flashed across the screen. She was 2 years old and had been “missing” for 31 days. Yet no one knew about it because her mother was “frantically” looking for her in nightclubs, Target and her boyfriends house… We all know how this case turned out and where it is going.

     Maybe I am just more aware of things since Caylee Anthony became Americas child. Lately, I am noticing more and more crimes against children and yet it leads me to wonder how many are out there that we don’t know about?

     I am a huge child advocate. I have a very hard time understanding how anyone could harm these miraculous little creatures, much less when they are their own children. The salon I work in is very active with a group called Child Help and it’s focus is to offer assistance to those who have been victims of child abuse. I look at these cases and wonder, where were these little ones voices? Why didn’t anyone protect them? How didn’t anyone see what was going on?

     In the past few weeks it seems as though there has been a flurry of crimes against children. Maybe it is something that happens all the time, but it makes me absolutely sick to my stomach to think of these poor babies being victimized, especially in the cases where the parents are the ones who are harming or killing them. While I am sure these are only a few cases that are out there, they have caught my attention and so I must write it down or it ill stay in my head.

CHRIS COLEMAN:   This man appears to be a cold and callous person with no feeling at all. While it is only “alleged” that he strangled his entire family in the middle of the night before going to the gym, every piece of evidence and his own reactions point the finger only at him.  It seems as though this had been a plan for a long time and the reason? ANOTHER WOMAN! I am dumbfounded that a man could kill his entire family without a second thought for no other reason than to be with another woman. Why couldn’t he just walk away? He worked as security for the Joyce Meyer Ministry and apparently knew that if he divorced his wife it was grounds for termination. Did he not think murder would be grounds for termination? There are so many things that happened prior to these murders and yet they are all pointing back to him now.

• He claimed to be receiving death threats for about a year prior to the murders,yet now police have traced these emails from his own computer.
• He told the woman he was having an affair with that he was getting a divorce, yet no family member on either side is aware that there were any problems.
• He left for the gym at about 5:45am and only an hour later called police to check on his family stating that they wouldn’t answer the phone. ( That is a little fishy that he would be so worried about them and call police when the gym was only a couple of miles away)
• When told that they were dead inside the house he never asked how, why or any other question that would normally be asked.
• A glove that was left at the scene is the match to a glove found on the route to the gym.
• Receipts for red spray paint were found in the house and that is the same paint that obscenities were written with on the walls and his sons bed.

There are so many more things coming out daily about this case and unfortunately three lives were lost. I cannot imagine that this man will not be put to death. I hope the woman he wanted to be with was worth his life.

NEVAEH BUCHANAN:  This is a case that just astounds me. Nevaeh was only 5 years old. Her mother did not have custody of her, it was given to her grandmother when her mother was arrested some time ago. Yet the mother, grandmother and child all lived together. According to witnesses, Nevaeh was riding her scooter outside in the apartment complex where she lived, one of the children went and told her mother that Nevaeh was riding her “bike” in the road. When Jennifer ( her mother) got outside all that was left was the scooter. Nevaeh’s little body was discovered by a riverbank by a fisherman. It had been encased in cement and gave way when the man walked on it. Now here comes the outrage:

• Jennifer Buchanan met a child molester while in the probation office that she attends. This man became quite close to her and spent time with them often.
• Instead of thinking about her daughter she was more concerned with defending this man on the radio and tv during the search for this little girl.
• She swears she is innocent of any wrongdoing in Nevaeh’s disappearance but I say differently. * A MOTHER WHO KNOWINGLY AND WILLINGLY PUTS HER CHILD IN DANGER BY ALLOWING THEM TO BE AROUND A SEX OFFENDER IS JUST AS GUILTY IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO THAT CHILD.
• Both Jennifer Buchanan and the sex offender friend supposedly failed lie detector tests.

 

HAYLEE DONATHAN:  This is a three year old child who is missing for eleven days along with her mother. There is no amber issued because the mother has custody of this child, yet both are feared in grave danger. Candace Watson is Haylee’s mother and is currently being sought in connection with helping Robbie Potter escape from a halfway house. He is a known three tiered sex offender. Apparently they were taking her daughter ona camping trip and the last phone call was to Mary Watson Candace’s mother. She claims that Candace stated that she just dropped him off and was going to be home soon. Nobody has heard from them since.

* WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS MOTHER? SHE APPARENTLY KNEW THIS MAN FOR THREE DAYS AND TAKES HER CHILD ON A CAMPING TRIP WITH HIM KNOWING THAT HE IS A SEX OFFENDER?

 

I am completely outraged by these women who put their own needs before their children. How dare them think that they are able to put their childrens lives in danger. I feel as though there is way too much of this going on and that these women should be held accountable and prosecuted right along side of the offenders.

Who is going to protect these little ones when their own mothers won’t?

JUST WHEN I THOUGHT… WHO AM I KIDDING?

     I don’t think I am ever going to understand how a 2 year old baby was loved more by a nation that never met her as opposed to her own family.

     THE CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY FOUNDATION…

      I am baffled, appalled, shaking my head in dis belief and again, angry. THESE ARE HER GRANDPARENTS! They are the ones who are actually supposed to love her so much that they would turn their back on their own daughter if it meant helping their grand daughter… Well I guess that is most grand parents. But no, not these grand parents.

     I have so many problems with not only the foundation but the website. First of all, it is clear to me that Cindy has written every word on every page of the website. You can hear her snide manner when talking about the “negative” things that went on around them during the search for Caylee. She mentions the turmoil and outrage that surrounded them during this many in a round about way many times.

     Non Profit Pending… So, is it or isn’t it?

     I have already voiced my opinion on this and am just really sick to my stomach of this whole entire performance. These people deserve to be sitting right next to Casey and deserve to be charged. They aren’t mourning, they aren’t doing anything but coming up with every way possible to profit  from this beautiful baby being murdered.

CAYLEE : IM SO SORRY THAT THIS IS WHAT THEY HAVE CHOSEN AS A TRIBUTE TO YOUR SHORT LIFE. I AT FIRST WAS SORRY FOR YOU THAT YOU HAD THE MOTHER THAT YOU DID, NOW I AM SORRY THAT YOU HAD NOBODY. WHAT GRAND PARENTS ARE IN THE REAL WORLD ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO YOU CAN WRAP AROUND YOUR CUTE LITTLE FINGER AND GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING. PEOPLE WHO TRULY ENJOY EVERY MOMENT THEY SPEND AND DON’T MAKE YOU PLAY BY THE RULES THAT YOUR PARENTS DO. THEY ARE THERE TO TELL YOUR SECRETS AND THEY ARE THERE TO ROCK YOU IN A CHAIR ON THEIR LAPS, WALK WITH YOU IN THE PARK, LET YOU DISCOVER ALL THESE GREAT THINGS AND NOT CARE HOW LONG IT TAKES. MOST OF ALL I AM SORRY THAT NOBODY THAT SHOULD WILL STAND UP FOR YOU… RIP CAYLEE, I HOPE YOU WILL SEE JUSTICE SERVED ONE DAY FOR ALL OF THEM…

WHY DO WOMEN KILL THEIR OWN CHILDREN?

     As it becomes more evident, at least in my eyes, that Casey Anthony is the only one responsible for the death of her daughter, I want to know WHY? In reading through thousands and thousands of pages of documents, I still can’t find that answer.

     I like many others can speculate as to why. We’ve all addressed that issue many times. She wanted freedom, she wanted to pay Cindy back for making her have Caylee, she was tired of being held down by the responsibilities of motherhood. Yet these are only speculations because as we all know Casey won’t even admit to killing Caylee much less tell anyone why she did it.

     So, I decided to read a little bit about this and maybe find my own answers. I was amazed to see the difference in how the public sees a woman who has killed her own child as opposed to  a man. Many studies have been done on this and I have concluded on my own that we as a society are not able to truly believe that a mother could willingly kill her child. We cannot accept that a mother would even fathom harming her child, and therefore we must find other reasons. Almost always the reason is mental illness. Yet if a father kills his children almost always he is treated a cold calloused killer and the public cries out for justice.

     As a whole, women generally only commit two types of crime: 1. Shoplifting  2. MURDERING THEIR OWN CHILDREN

     What I found very interesting is that in all of the cases that have been studied over the years, Feminists, Legal Researchers and Scholars have continued to stand by the theory that: Women who murder their own children are ill.

     In most cases these women are hospitalized and treated. Yet almost always a father who kills his children is put away for life or executed. Juries in general have shown that they are not willing to hand down a murder conviction, much less a death sentence to a mother.

     In all the studies performed, the researchers have done their best to show that these mothers have to be ill. It is believed that by showing mothers who kill their children are crazy, it gives the public comfort. Otherwise it would be unimagineable that a mother could make a rational choice to kill her child.

     Women as a whole are not violent creatures and therefore scholars have argued that the majority of mothers who have killed their children suffer from depression, post partum depression or post partum psychosis. They also state that if none of these illness come in to play then there is other mental illness.

     The problem with the illness theory is :

• While mental illness can explain “snapping”, it does not explain why it is only twoards their children and not strangers or others.

     Therefore to give insight as to why a mother kills her own children the researchers have concluded the following:

             Achild is viewed as a mothers property. To destroy ones own property is considered “crazy”, while destroying the property of others is “criminal”.Therefore mothers who kill generally go to a hospital.

      The legal system treats a mother who has killed someone elses child as a sociopathic killer, yet shows mercy for a mother who kills her own. The reason for this is: it is easier to convict when harm has been done to someone elses property.

      A study was performed in 2002 and the results showed that children under the age of 5 were more likely to be killed by their own parents than a sex crazed outside predator. According to the FBI statistics: Parents were responsible for 57% of the deaths of their children in 1999. Family friends and acquaintances accounted for 30% while other family members accounted for 8%.

     According to Michelle Oberman who conducted part of this study : “MURDERING MOTHERS ARE JUST DIFFERENT” The media finds them to be newsworthy, while a father who kills is viewed as an ordinary killer.

      The following reasons of why a mother kills are what is concluded after years of research:

• THE CHILD IS UNWANTED
• OUT OF MERCY
• AS A RESULT OF MENTAL ILLNESS
• RETALIATION AGAINST A SPOUSE
• AS A RESULT OF ABUSE
• TO PUNISH THEMSELVES
• TO “ERASE” IN ORDER TO PERSUE A RELATIONSHIP
• ANGRY AT THEMSELVES OR TO DESTROY WHAT THEY HAVE CREATED.

     What I did find interesting is that in the cases studied, almost all of the mothers disposed of their children in a “womb like” fashion. They either swaddled them, submerged them in water or wrapped them tightly in plastic. 

     The National Center For Missing and Exploited Children stated that most children killed by their mothers were always found close to home, while a child killed by the father is generally hundreds of miles away. 

     The last concluded reason I found for women killing their children is: WOMEN STILL BELIEVE THEY HAVE SOLE DOMINATION OVER SO LITTLE “PROPERTY”, THAT THE DESTRUCTION AND CONTROL OF SOMETHING THAT IS IN FACT THEIR “PROPERTY” SENDS A POWERFUL MESSAGE ABOUT WHO IS REALLY IN CHARGE…

     It was kind of creepy to think about these women and any other woman who can commit the worst act possible and know that she will be able to plead insanity. While I do believe there are some mothers who truly are suffering from mental illness and I have witnessed mental illness  first hand, I also think there are some that are just cold blooded killers and should be held accountable. 

     While we all know the most famous cases and names of the mothers who killed their children I was surprised to read so many names that I never heard of. 

• DEBRA JENNER–   STABBED 3 YR OLD DAUGHTER MORE THAN 70 TIMES. 
• PATRICIA BLACKMON –   MURDERED 2YR OLD ADOPTED SON
• KENISHA BERRY–   COVERED 4DAY OLD SON IN DUCT TAPE RESULTING IN DEATH
• DEBRA JEAN MILKE–   MURDERED 4 YEAR OLD SON 
• DORA LUZ DURENROSTRO–   MURDERED HER 4 AND 9YR OLD DAUGHTERS AND 8YR OLD SON
• CARO SOCCORRO–  MURDERED HER 5,8, AND 11 YR OLD SONS
• SUSAN EUBANKS–   MURDERED HER 4,6,7,AND 14 YR OLD SONS
• CAROLINE YOUNG –   MURDERED HER 4YR OLD GRAND DAUGHTER AND 6 YR OLD GRAND SON
• ROBIN LEE ROW-  MURDERED HER 8YR OLD DAUGHTER AND 10 YR OLD SON
• MICHIELLE SUE THARP– MURDERED HER 7YR OLD DAUGHTER
• FRANCES ELAINE NEWTON– MURDERED HER 7YR OLD SON AND 2YR OLD DAUGHTER
• DARLIE LYNN ROUTIER–  MURDERED HER 5YR OLD SON

     Though I have never heard the names of these women or their children I cannot help but feel sad and wonder how many more names are out there that are just like them and just like Caylee Anthony? While the studies are informative, I still don’t think any reason cited is enough to justify these children dying at the hands of their mothers.

  

The Anthony’s Are Shocked, Huckaby Is Crazy, and Again What About Haleigh?

     The Anthony Family has released a statement through their attorney stating that they are in shock over the State’s decision to put the death penalty back on the table. Lee Anthony’s attorney has said that his client is in shock at the horror of it. The attorney for the Anthony’s went on to say that they still will stand behind their daughter and that if a jury of 12 can convict her of this they will deal with that then. Of course Jose Baez has a statement, and as usual it was a stupid one. He stated that while he would not comment on Casey’s reaction to the news, she was well aware that this was an option and that she knows the “forces” that are out to get her…

The Anthony’s are shocked? I am shocked that they continue this whole charade time after time. Have they even watched themselves on the depositions? Do they know that they are not helping the daughter that they so desperately believe? Does Cindy realize that the public no longer needs to wonder how Casey Anthony learned to lie that boldly?

If a jury convicts they will deal with that then? Oh they will convict, maybe not death but life for sure. So why not deal with it now? Why not stand up and be the parents for once and hold her accountable for murdering your own grand child? You are so quick to snap at others for referring to your grand daughter as the remains, yet how about the fact that you can’t even get your daughter to refer to her at all without changing the subject or throwing a fit?

Lee Anthony is in shock and horror? Why? Because you realize that you like your parents are looking just as guilty as your sister? That you lied under oath? That you have been taped just as your mother was and now feel as though you were set up? No, it was Caylee who was set up. Set up to be the pawn in this sick games your family plays of control and lies.

Jose Baez: The forces? Really. The only ones who are out to get Casey Anthony are the people who are seeking justice for that baby and the rest of the people who live in the real world. You continue to claim that this is done because she wouldn’t accept a plea deal. I would say she had very bad legal advice in this matter. The state doesn’t prosecute on emotion, they prosecute on evidence. And unfortunately for your client she left enough of it around for them to have a hey day! Have you thought of the fact that maybe they don’t want to deal? Maybe they really are going to put your client to death. Instead of filing all these childish motions, I would say it would be in your best interest to find a way to defend your client, she is really going to need it…

MELISSA HUCKABY: Her ex husband stated that she did suffer from some mental illness, but he never thought she would commit an act of violence.

This was more than an act of violence. This was an act that only a monster would commit. Now her attorney wants to exhume Sandras body to prove she is  innocent? TOO BAD! Let that poor family grieve and heal. There is nothing on that body that will prove she is innocent. She knows right from wrong, that is why she confessed. Her guilt ate her up and she couldn’t take it anymore. So maybe in a moment of weakness she caved, but she gave too much information before that. Quite possibly there are more people involved int his but even so, she was the one who had this child in her home. Therefore, should anyone have suggested that they harm this little girl, if she was completely innocent she would have not been part of the cover up. She would have fought to keep that child out of harms way.

Lets not waste another year on this case like Casey Anthony. An eye for an eye…

HALEIGH CUMMINGS:   NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING!!!!

     Well I shouldn’t say nothing. It was reported last night that Ron Cummings was fired from his job for failure to return to work . Guess what? He is filing a suit against them. So let’s see what we have here and maybe somewhere in there we will see two parents desperatley trying to find their little girl:

• CRYSTAL SHEFFIELD FILES A SUIT AGAINST RONALD CUMMINGS FOR CHILD ABUSE ALLEGATIONS.
• CRYSTAL SHEFFIELD FILES FOR FULL CUSTODY OF HER SON AND DAUGHTER ( WHO IS MISSING)
• RONALD CUMMINGS MARRIES HIS 17 YEAR OLD GIRLFRIEND. (THE LAST ONE WHO SUPPOSEDLY SAW HIS DAUGHTER ALIVE)

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THIS WORLD WE LIVE IN?

    Maybe it is that I am getting older. Maybe it is that I am a mother of two boys who tries everyday to teach them the importance of family values, morals and to always try and do the right thing. Or just maybe it is the fact that I remember growing up and even though I was raised for most of my younger years in the Bronx, nothing was as scary as this world seems to be today.

     An 8 year old little girl just went out to play. She wasn’t at a strangers house, she wasn’t walking the streets in some crime ridden neighborhood.She was with someone who she trusted, who her mother trusted and who taught children the importance of God. Yet, she was murdered. If being murdered by someone who is a mother herself is not bad enough, it is alleged that she was also raped. It is being reported that there may be some type of a child pornography ring involved and she seem to be their latest victim.

     WHY? How on earth can a woman who teaches children about God and who has a five year old daughter herself be a sexual predator, a child molester, a murderer and a monster? How could all of these things be going on and not one person have any inclination that something wasn’t right?

     I will not give her the easy way out and say she is mentally ill. No, she is not mentally ill. She is a sick twisted individual who used the church as a way to prey on small innocent children. Her own grandfather who is the pastor of the church stated that she knows right from wrong. Melissa Huckaby is not worth the air that she is allowed to breathe.

     Her father gave an interview after visiting her in jail and stated that they cried together. He said that other than not sleeping, she is doing pretty good. Well isn’t that nice… How happy we should all be that she is doing well. How happy Sandra Cantu’s parents must be to know that under the circimstances Melissa is okay. To me that was a slap in the face to this family. I cannot imagine my father even wanting to look at me if this were me in jail. Come to think of it, I am sure he would be leading the pack of those wanting to get their hands on me.

     Sandra Cantu’s murder to me was senseless. I don’t understand how any one does these things to children. I don’t understand how all of these sick people walk the streets everyday as if they are normal and never once show any sign of the vile and absolute disgusting people they really are.

     No matter what charges are brought against this woman, nothing will be enough for the absolute horror that I can only imagine this little girl had to endure in her final moments on this earth…

     As I sit and think about that monster, my mind wanders to Casey Anthony as usual. The death penalty is back on the table and her parents are going to be appearing on the Oprah Show. I cannot begin to comprehend what Oprah Winfrey thinks she is going to accomplish by having the Anthony Family on her show, Does she think she will be able to make them tell the truth? Well a court of law, swearing them in under oath and thousands of questions did not make them tell the truth. This is nothing more than another place for Cindy Anthony to grand stand. What will they talk about? I am sure they will again point the finger at others, proclaim their daughters innocence, again say how we will all understand this better after the trial, and recount every single statement they made saying that is not what they meant. Then George I am sure will ask for prayers for his daughter, ask people to not judge them, and quite possibly become combative when asked a question pointedly. Finally I am sure they will plug the foundation and speak of this being their calling and how they will help other families who have missing children. They do after all need their paychecks so they need to get this going.

     Will they speak of Caylee? Or will they speak of “that little girl”? Will Cindy gripe about the other people who are profiting from the death of this beautiful little child, yet never once admit to making any money for herself? Will she really continue to defend Casey Anthony?

     I would like to know what they will say about the death penalty being brought back. I am sure it will be another way for the LE and FBI to “frame” Casey. Will she be chewing her gum on Oprah? Will she start yelling when she will not answer a question? Will they both perjure themselves again… God I hope so.

     This world is becoming scarier everyday that I am in it. Maybe I take more notice now, but I do not remember all of this craziness when I was growing up. I remember the day they caught Son of Sam and how up until that point there was an absolute fear of my aunts going out at night. Thinking back he was the craziest monster and he did not prey on children. Over the years yes there have been many crimes committed against children but it seems to me that it is almost becoming a common thing nowadays. Since Casey Anthony was first spoken of on the news it seems as though there have been so many children reported missing and the searches in most cases revolve around the family.

     I can honestly say I am scared for my children to raise children. They are 16 and 13 and I am not sure what state this world could possibly be in by time they are raising their own. Children can no longer play outside with their friends for fear they will be taken, they cannot be on the internet unattended for fear a child molester might be able lure them away from their family. It is not safe for them to go to the corner store for a treat on a hot summer day for fear that they will either be taken by someone or robbed.

     Children are supposed to be able to experience all the great things we did when we were kids and yet they can’t. What a sad place  this world has become. When does it stop?

SANDRA CANTU, THE ANTHONY’S LATEST ANTICS, AND WHERE IS HALEIGH?

ARREST MADE IN SANDRA CANTU MURDER:

     The grand daughter of the pastor at the local baptist church was arrested last night and charged with the murder of Sandra Cantu. According to a former New York Police Detective, the only way she would have been arrested so quickly is through her own confession.

     Melissa Huckabee is a Sunday school teacher and the mother of one of Sandra Cantu’s friends. She went to Huckabee’s home to play with her daughter the day she went missing.

     The suitcase that Sandra’s body was found in belonged to Huckabee. At first she said that the suitcase had been stolen from her driveway the same day. Eventually it is said that there was a confession and it most likely will not be known until the trial. The media also reported that Cantu was already dead when she was reported missing.

     What on earth could this little girl have done to have been murdered? Where was the daughter of Huckabee? How on earth could this woman continue on day after day, teaching children about God, knowing that she took the life of a child?

GEORGE AND CINDY ANTHONY DEPOSED IN ZFG CASE…

     They arrived at the lawyers office in true Anthony fashion. Cindy chomping her gum as usual, George ready to do battle before ever starting to be deposed. Cindy set up her own video camera. Another video to sell? Another few hundred thousand dollars?

     George was deposed first and was combative immediately. He accused the lawyer of giving him the finger, refused to answer questions about Casey’s employment and stated that Cindy was the care taker 99% of the time. He threatened to leave on more than one occasion, and clearly stated that he never heard the name Zenaida until July 2008.

     Cindy was back to her same old self as usual. She answered questions with questions, interrupted the lawyer numerous times, and blatently lied about more than one subject pertaning to Casey, Zanny, and poor little Caylee.

     She contradicted Georges statement that she was the sole caretaker and stated that Casey was the one who took care of Caylee most of the time. She beat around the bush about her employment and the fact that Casey didn’t give money to the household. She continues her claim that she saw pictures of Jeffrey Hopkins with his child and also stated that Jeffrey Hopkins was compensating Zenaida for taking care of both children.

     At one point her attorney told her to let the lawyer ask the questions. She took her mic off and began her childish antics. Telling them she didn’t have to wear it, telling Zenaida that she was cute but not  a 10, and eventually walking out of the depositions.

     The lawyer that deposed them stated that they will be required to come back again due to their refusal to answer questions.

     I am sure the lawyers for the criminal trial will have a field day with this one. OBSTRUCTION?? I think so

 WHAT HAPPENED TO THE MEDIA COVERAGE OF THE HALEIGH CUMMINGS CASE?                                                              

     A five year old girl goes missing inthe middle of the night from her bed. A father who was at work thought it was completely normal for a 17 year old child to serve as the mother. A mother who lives two hours away couldn’t get there until the next day. Someone took her from her bed, propping a back door open and not once did anyone hear anything?

     Now, we have abuse allegations, a marriage, a foundation, a makeover and alleged drug involvement. Yet, there is still a five year old girl missing. WHERE IS THE DEDICATION THAT THE MEDIA GAVE TO CAYLEE ANTHONY? WHY NOW DO WE FOCUS ON WHAT CASEY ATE OR BOUGHT FROM THE STORE IN JAIL INSTEAD OF THIS LITTLE GIRL???

THE CIRCUS CONTINUES AND MORE PEOPLE JOIN…

     Let’s say hypothetically that you were someone who truly believed that you could offer your services to a family desperately searching for their grand daughter. Now, after a few weeks you realize that something is horribly wrong with every person involved in this case. Then, you are asked not only to go to the place that the body is, but you are then asked to not call 911 or inform anyone if you find it.

     This is what I am having a hard time with. Other than the Anthony Family themselves, what do all these people have to gain by helping cover up a murder? The good thing I guess is that when something as horrible as this happens, the more people you involve the more likely it is that someone will break.

There have been a lot of new little tid bits this past week and below is a little summary. Forgive me if I don’t get them all but a week away from here leaves so much to read up on…

JESSE GRUND POSSIBLY BEING FRAMED?

    According to the father of Casey’s ex-fiance, it appears that Casey and quite possibly the Anthony Family are trying to implicate Jesse in the murder of Caylee.

• Two days after the car had been at Amscot, Casey tried to get Jesse to go to his fathers house, get his gas can and come help her. She had already been picked up and all of her friends were around to help. * Richard Grund stated that he told his son that he did not feel comfortable with this as it made no sense that she would ask him when everyone was around.
• Casey Anthony showed up at Jesses apartment in July at 10:30 in the morning claiming that she needed to take a shower. She was apparently staying at Tony’s house then so Mr. Grund cannot figure out why she needed to use Jesse’s apartment. * He feels as though she was using the opportunity to possibly plant evidence in Jesse’s apartment.
• The Grund family was alerted by Leonard Padilla that the Anthony Family was trying to point the finger at Jesse, claiming that he drowned her in the pool in their backyard and to stay away from them.
• Mr. Grund stated that this is an ongoing investigation and he has either been told or feels that this theory is going to come into play at the trial.

JOSE BAEZ IS UNDER INVESTIGATION BY FLORIDA BAR

     This is the second time that a complaint has been filed with the Florida Bar against Jose Baez. This time it has been said that the complaint was filed by Judge Strickland. 

• According to testimony from Dominic Casey, he has stated that Jose Baez directed him to the site where he searched for Caylees body. Baez allegedly told him that if he finds her he was not to call 911. 

        * There is another portion of the interview with Dominic Casey that has been sealed supposedly  due to pertinant information that is crucial to the trial.

     * Personally I am not a fan of this man and believe that he is very shady. I can’t help but to continue to wonder what he was gaining from all of this. According to his statements and those of Jim Hoover, he never received any compensation and that was the reason he left Baez. At the time he searched the area he was working for the Anthony Family so why would he have any involvement with Baez, especially if they had some falling out?

GEORGE GIVES 1ST INTERVIEW SINCE CAYLEE FOUND

     George Anthony spoke of his daughter and grand daughter for the first time since the remains of Caylee were discovered. He also made sure to mention the foundation and how he intends to help those in need.

He claims that he misses his daughter. She is a good woman, a good lady, a good mom. He says that he thinks of her everyday and that she has been treated unfairly.  He stated that she had a great defense team. He misses his grand daughter everyday and does not want the land where her remains were found to be used as a memorial. George claims he has not even gone down there.  He and Cindy think of Caylee daily and play the memorial song in their car everytime they are out.

• He claims she is a good woman? Yet when he saw the pictures of her partying he stated that they sickened him.
• He is confident in Baez? When did this happen? He has never liked him all along and now he is confident that his daughter has a great defense team?
• If he is supportive of his daughter why would he tell Jesse Grund that she was not a good person and in a bad place and that he did not need to be around her? He said that Jesse was so good to her and so good to his grand daughter.
• He found his calling after fifty years and it is to assist families in finding their children who are missing? THEY NEVER HELPED FIND THEIR OWN GRAND DAUGHTER! They trashed LE every chance they got and now are going to work side by side with them?
• The boat… Can’t even talk about this without being sick to my stomach but apparently it is better than the sheriffs department and can search a lake in minutes as opposed to hours. – If that is the case then donate it to the sheriffs office, I would at least think a little higher of them.

CINDY ANTHONY REMAINS QUIET

     There was an article stating that Cindy Anthony has been so quiet lately and when the question was directed to her attorney he replied: She has been so hurt after reading what her mothers words to detectives were.

• Hurt? Why because a sweet old lady told the truth and made your family look bad? Or because she like your brother lives in the real world and will not make excuses for your daughter?
• Your daughter stole from this woman and you covered for her instead of making her liable.
• Or quite possibly your mothers words really made you take a look at who your daughter is and the possibility that she really was that selfish that she took your grand daughters life because she wanted to be the center of attention.
• Why do you feel the need to point the finger at everyone but the one who is responsible for taking a baby’s life, ruining an entire family and doing absolutely nothing to HELP ?

LEE ANTHONY SECRETLY TAPED

     Lee Anthony sits in the car and talks with Tony Lazarro about his sister. Of course he has no idea he is being recorded. He talks about the fact that Casey is a liar and that he is not sure why she lies all the time. He even seems to ponder if she does it just to do it. He goes on to talk about the smell of the car and how absolutely horrible it was.

• If Lee Anthony stated that she lies about everything then why when UNDER OATH at the deposition for Zenaida Gonzales does he state that he believes everything that his sister tells him?
• He never heard of Zanny? Or he did hear of Zanny? Nobody ever heard or met her yet now they all know Caylees been with her for almost two years??
• What was the weird and long winded voice mail to Melich? ( I think it was Melich) Talking about testifying at the bond hearing and that he wanted to give a heads up that he was called as were his parents. He stated that he was planning on being truthful and that he would encourage his parents to do the same but that he knew they were of course trying to get their daughter out on bond. He went on to say that he thought they would have better luck if  they were able to have Casey alone without surveillance.

     I cannot believe the twists and turns this case continues to take. There are so many unanswered questions, speculations and rumors that it is hard to know what to really believe.

• Did Roy Kronk have a tip from an ex- girlfriend who supposedly worked at the jail?
• Did Casey really fake the entire panic attack when told about Caylee?
• Was she really listening to her radio and the report of the discovery prior to being informed?
• Do George and Cindy Anthony truly doubt their daughters innocence?
• Is someone really just trying to get Baez removed from the case?
• How many people will they implicate before losing everything they have from being sued?

* NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS IN THE END, CASEY ANTHONY WILL FACE A MUCH BIGGER JUDGE AND JURY ONE DAY , I HOPE SHE HAS A BETTER ANSWER WHEN THAT TIME COMES…

Jim Hoover Deposed, But Where Was Dominic Casey?

     The deposition of Jim Hoover, marks the second person interviewed in the Zenaida Gonzales civil suit against Casey Anthony.

     While the interview is very telling, I can’t help but wonder how relevant the questions that are being asked are to the case. Furthermore, because it is public knowledge I also wonder if it can any way hinder the trial of Casey Anthony in October as many of the questions are surrounding events that I am sure will be brought up in trial.

     I would hate to see a mistrial due to information being leaked from the depositions. I guess I would just hate to see anything that would possibly allow Casey Anthony to walk free.

     While the first 60 or so pages of the transcripts are questions that I think have no bearing on this case, there were some answers that shed some more light on how twisted this family is. I would like to think that Jim Hoovers motives were those of a concerned citizen, but I also think that so many players in this sick game are out for their own benefit. We all know that he has stated in prior interviews that he did entertain the idea of selling some of the pictures and videos. I do not think that he re considered because of his conscience, I think he got scared and would have rathered hand them over to police before he found himself in some hot water.

     While alot of the questions are about his job, prior clients and other stuff, here are some key points that I found interesting.

• He does not seem to be a big fan of Domnic Casey. He believes that he is a “show boater”.
• When he first decided to offer his assistance to the Anthony Family, he states that it was because he saw what was happening on the news and did not think that the family should have to endure the treatment they were getting from the public.
• He first spoke with George Anthony and then Cindy. She stated that her PI was going to call him and verify who he was.
• When Dominic Casey called him he was thankful that he was willing to assist him as nobody would work with him on this case.
• Although Casey Anthony was out of jail at the time he first began working there, he never met her. He was very rarely in the house and did not seem privy to alot of information.
• In November when Dominic Casey called him to go to the wooded area where Caylees body was eventually found, he would not disclose who told him to go there although he asked several times.
• The pavers that he located during the search ( D. Casey) were the same pavers that were at the Anthony home by the air conditioning unit.
• They went to the woods on two different days to search for Caylees body.
• He is most certain that it was not a psychic but Lee Anthony on the phone with Dominic while he was in the woods.
• He restated that the relationship between Cindy and Dominic was very inappropriate.
• He was called downstairs by Dominic while staying at the Ritz and he found him and Cindy on the side of the hotel alone, they asked him to go to the house and lock it after FBI left.
• After leaving church Dominic asked Cindy to ride with him back to the hotel. Hoover took George and Dominic and Cindy did not show up for a long time. Dominic called him and said they got lost. George was in a very bad depressed state during their ride to the hotel.
• After the remains were found lots of people were at the house talking about the location and he questioned D. Casey as to whether or not The Anthony’s knew they searched the area. D. Casey replied that they knew all about it.
• D. Casey was very angry at Baez because he was supposed to pay him out of the 225,000.00 that BAEZ received from the sale of video and pics, but he never did.
• He saw a stack of documents signed by Casey Anthony stating that D. Casey was working for her.
• The name Zenaida Gonzales was only mentioned on one or two occasions. Though many of the tips were of sightings he wondered why they were not following up on them. D. Casey stated to him that Cindy was driving him crazy with all the phone calls.

     Dominic Casey sent a fax to state that he would not be attending the deposition. While the reason was unknown, it could land him in some hot water with a contempt of court charge….

Is This The Best They Could Do For Caylee?

     If the murder of Caylee Marie Anthony has taught me anything, it is that greed, selfishness and fifteen minutes of fame took center stage and shoved into the background the fact that a mother killed her child. 

     The Anthony’s just announced that they have a boat and an ATV that was funded with the 30,000.00 that was donated to help find Caylee Marie Anthony. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This is the best they could do? 

     They claim that the boat and ATV are what is needed to start up their foundation and assist in looking for missing children. If I remember correctly, they were never present on any of the searches for their grand daughter. They were too busy on TV and Cindy mainly was too busy shouting at the top of her lungs for everyone to get off their butts and find her grand daughter. 

     So many things are wrong with this. Is there any one involved in this case who is not trying to profit from this baby’s death? Would you really want the Anthony’s to be the ones heading up a search if it were your child missing? Not me. 

     When they aren’t using the boat to look for children, will they use it for their own relaxation? Will we see George fishing or spending the day on the lake with friends? This is disgusting!

     Some time ago I believe that Cindy stated that any money that was donated to find Caylee would be used for that purpose and that when she was found it would be donated to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. So, what happened? 

     How about creating a foundation for children who are mrdered by their parents? Oh that’s right, they don’t think their daughter killed Caylee. 

     The Anthony’s are not fit to run a foundation for children, look at the beautiful mess they created with their own child. They could do so much more and yet every thing that this family does shows greed. 

      What happened to Cindy’s squawking? Now she sits silently by as George explains his motives? Why so quiet now? I think because she knows how bad it looks and how much heat she will take for it. 

     I hope all of this is worth that beautiful little baby dying. I wouldn’t give a dime to this foundation. Perhaps they could team up with the “BUG” foundation and then they would have a building too…. 

THE LATEST DISCOVERY DOCUMENTS… NOT LOOKING GOOD FOR CASEY ANTHONY

     The latest release of discovery documents speak volumes into the type of person Casey Anthony and the level of dysfunction that this family has operated on for years.

     The saddest thing for me to realize in this entire ordeal is that this family could have stopped this behavior from Casey long ago if only she was taught that every action has a consequence. They seemed more concerned with the “look” of the famliy and shoving all the tell tale signs under the carpet.

     Shirley Pleasa as most people are aware is Casey Anthony’s maternal grandmother. While I have read little pieces of statements she has given over the course of the entire investigation, to read through her interview that took place at her home showed that she is quite possibly the only person in this family who is not looking at the situation with rose colored glasses on.

     She appears to be a sweet old grandma who is truly heart broken at what is going on in her family.She believes that Casey has stolen somewhere around 45,000 from George and Cindy and as we all know she herself was a victim of her own grand daughter. It appears that Cindy has tried to shield her from alot of what was going on and I don’t think that was because she was being under handed. I think she truly did not want to upset her mother.

     When Shirley told Cindy about the money that Casey had taken, Cindy replied that she was sorry and that she would pay her back. This to me says so much. It seemed as though Cindy was always cleaning up Casey’s mess..

     When I read through all of the events that Shirley told the detectives, it appears as though denial is nothing new in this family. From the pregnancy to the insinuation that even the grandmother knew Casey had no income, it seems like Cindy always tried to sugar coat things.

     The one thing that was re iterated and has been over and over is the fact that Caylee was Cindy’s life. Shirley made an interesting comment. Something like, and I am para phrasing: ” If Cindy does not believe Casey, then she will have to deal with the fact that Caylee is probably dead”

     I do think Cindy had gotten completely fed up with Casey, but unfortunately it was too late by the time that happened. In my own opinion, I think that Cindy has so much guilt for things that she should or could have done. I am sure she wishes that she wishes she would have beaten the hell out of her and refused to let Caylee leave with her. While I know that she would have thrown Casey to the wolves if it meant saving Caylee, I do think that as a grand mother who worked full time, ran a house and was the main care giver in a two year old childs life, she was tired. I know from my own mother. She is a 61 year old grandmother of 11 and the greatest grandmother that we could ever wish for our children to have. She spends alot of time with all of them. But when she has had it, she has had it. I cannot imagine that raising any of them full time would be easy. I am only 37 and have two teenagers. To think about starting all over with a newborn is something I am not sure I even have the stamina for. 

     Jeffrey Hopkins interview was another piece of information included in the discovery. I have heard bits and pieces of this before and am just astounded that Casey was able to spin lie after lie. To actually have the gall to implicate someone who you never really knew, much lesss a guy who never even had any children shows that mentally she lives in her own world without fear of any consequence. 

     The snake discovery was something I had heard but never really knew the story. I just wonder why the man who retreived the snake put it in his freezer instead of notifying police?  

     The evidence collected was a Dora back pack filled with pull ups, wipes, a tooth brush, toothpate and a comb. It appears as though there were no fingerprints on any of the items in the backpack, or so the report stated. There was a bag with five napkins, a child shirt and a belt. From the car was shoes, cds, and a car seat.

     With all the interviews, evidence, and forensic tests that were done on the car, it seems like there is not a chance in hell that Casey Anthony will be able to get away with the murder of Caylee. But then I think about the statements that Det. Melich made to Shirley Pleasea about Cindy being so cooperative in the beginning and then completely flipping on them in a way that made her seem almost deceptive. I go back and forth in my thinking that she is covering up for Casey and then I think no, she is in complete denial. I wonder if all the money issues that were blamed on George were really all him? Is it possible that Casey knew what was going on and took advantage of that knowing that Cindy would blame George for credit card bills and missing money?

     I only know that with each document dump, each new piece of evidence revealed, and each new excerpt of an interview; if Casey Anthony walks free and does not pay for the multiple multiple wrongs she has done, I will have no faith in this justice system.

Shame On You Crystal Sheffield!

     Haleigh Cummings Is Missing! She is five years old, she is a beautiful child and she is out there somewhere waiting for someone to find her…

     Haleigh has lived with her father since she was 2 years old. Her mother Crystal Sheffield lost custody of her and her brother. If you listen to her claims, it is because she was unaware of a court date. It is the systems fault, yet for three years she has never fought the system. If you hear the story from Ronald Cummings he was awarded custody because plain and simple he was a better parent.

     It appears as though Crystal had some problems with drugs. She did not work and yet Haleigh missed twelve doctors appointments. This child has a disease. While it is unacceptable for any mother to not take their child to the doctor twelve times, it is complete neglect when this child has a condition that needs to be monitored by doctors.

    Crystal lives two hours away from her children and sees them every two weeks. I don’t get that. I am a mom and there is not a judge out there who would be able to keep me from my kids. If it took every dime I had to fight for them, then that is what I would do.

     Now in the midst of this child being taken from her home and people seperately searching for her, Crystal has decided to make abuse allegations against the childrens father and retain a lawyer. So the focus has now turned from finding this little girl to investigating child abuse.

     If Crystal thought that these children were being abused then why was she not fighting before Haleigh was missing? As the mother of these children she claims she has never stepped foot in the house, never saw their beds or anything that pertained to the care of them. Yet she was so worried that they were being abused? Bullsh*t!

     How dare her use the media and her daughters disappearance to gain fifteen minutes of fame. Ronald Cummings welcomes any investigation into the abuse allegations and claims they are all false. But shouldn’t they find this little one before they worry about that? Shouldn’t her mother worry that someone could be abusing her while she is out there?

     This is only my opinion but I have thought from the beginning that this woman is a few cards short of a full deck. She speaks as though she has no education and she makes no sense. Every question pertaining to her children is answered with an I dont know. She clearly hates that Misty  is 17 years old, yet she did not care enough to worry about it before Haleigh went missing. She even stated that her children loved Misty…

     Shame on you Crystal Sheffield and shame on your lawyer for this ridiculous foolishness. Your child is missing and if you cared at all this would not be the most important issue right now…  

What Is All The Hype About? There Is No Breaking News…

     There must be a dozen or more blogs that are claiming all kinds of breaking news in the Caylee Anthony case. I am surprised and bewildered at the same time. Is it that there is no news and so they have to write about something? Or is it that they are going to have withdrawl symptoms if they do not post at least three to five posts per day? There is no breaking news. There have been a few little things that most of us have known for some time so I am trying to understand what all the hype is about.

     Everyone is reporting that it is breaking news that Lee Anthony is not the father of Caylee. This is not breaking news. This was released already. Instead of reporting that DNA proved this why don’t we ask the real question that matters: WHY DID THE FBI EVEN CONSIDER THIS? WHY DID THEY NEED TO CONFIRM THIS? That to me speaks volumes in this twisted saga.

     The updates on the information from almost a year ago are nothing more than redundant information. Yet the title is catchy so maybe the blog hits will reach a million.

     Listen, we all write when we feel we have something to get off our chests. I have always used writing to sort out things. Whether be a problem I have with someone, a way to express my thoughts to someone in a manner that can be calm and collected or as a way to address a situation properly so that I do not let my mouth run away and say things I cannot take back in a moment of anger. But to feel the need to write so many posts a day and not have anything to say is bordering on an addiciton. Yes this child has taken a hold of a part of our hearts. Whether be thta we cannot accept that an innocent little baby was the victim of her own mothers anger, or that we wish someone could have saved her, but the repetitious “NEWS” is getting old. 

     I have a select few on my blogroll who write the most wonderful and informative posts. They are the ones I look to when I log on, but to search any name associated with the Anthony case and see the amount of posts by the same people so many time in one day that are filled with old information and labeled as Breaking News or Update is just really bothersome to me. 

     So I guess I will continue to read from the ones who post worthy information and raise very interesting questions that are discussed in a very mature and adult like manner. Cindy Has Alot of Explaining To Do I Would Say

     According to the Blink on Crime Website, it looks like Cindy Anthony will have alot of explaining to do, and I for one will be surprised if she is not charged with a crime.

     It appears as though back in August Keith Williams who grew up on the same street as the Anthony’s was directed by a psychic to the woods where Caylees remains were later found. The woman is the mother of a friend of his and lives in Texas. She told him what to look for and where, and amazingly she told him what he would find.

      He went to the woods on August 18th and found a bag filled with clothes, a childs sandal and stuffed animals. Upon finding this he went to the Anthony home and was greeted by Cindy. He explained that he was the older brother of a girl who was very close to Casey and that he was told to go into the woods and find this bag. He said at that point Cindy rifled through the bag and said that nothing looked familiar and that they were sure that Caylee was alive and kidnapped by Zenaida Fernadez Gonzales. He stated that she was polite but curt. He said that Cindy told him that they had their own investigators working on it.He says that he returned to the site and called police, but did not tell them that he first went to the Anthony home.  

     Approximately two weeks ago Keith Williams ran into George Anthony at the Amscot and after locking his keys in his car George gave him a ride home. They spoke of Caylee and he expressed how sorry he was for their loss. He claims that George Anthony feels very guilty about the death of his granddaughter. 

     The day that Blink posted the interview they had with Williams, he received a phone call from George Anthony and Jose Baez. Apparently Baez is very interested in talking with him. Although prior to this story breaking he claims that he had called to speak with Baez and was told they would give him the message and he has never heard back until now. When asked what George Anthony was calling for, he states that he just wanted to talk. 

      So, in August it is brought to Cindy’s attention that there is some speculation that Caylee could be in this area. Yet, she dismisses the very thought of it, and yet will travel to California to look into a tip? Too many things do not add up when it comes to Cindy Anthony. Although it makes sense why Dominic Casey had been searching that area now doesn’t it? 

     While the report cannot be confirmed, Williams claims that the psychic told him where Caylee’s body was and he was only feet from it. She told him to bring a shovel as it would be a shallow grave. She also warned that Caylee’s bones would be in the dirt not in the bag…The psychic apparently told him how Caylee died and who killed her, though blink will not release it as it is not confirmed.  Williams claims that he was looking on the wrong side of the wooded area. Had he went to the right it is possible that Caylee would have been found in October . 

     I am not sure how credible this information will turn out to be, but if you read the entire transcript from Blink it is very chilling.  Cindy Anthony seems to be in the center of this whole thing as many have suspected from the beginning. It is claimed that she knew about Caylee and that Casey confessed to her… Now this I am not sure of because I do not believe that Casey would have ever confessed to Cindy of all people due to her fear of what Cindy would do to her. ( Remember her interview with LE: ” My mother will never forgive me” )

     There are going to be a lot of things that come out that have not as of yet and I think many of them are going to give alot insight into the minds of this twisted family. My only hope is that they all don’t walk away scott free and without being made to understand that this baby was two years old. She had her whole life ahead of her and greed, jealousy and control are the reason she is no longer here.

Another Day In Court, Another Day in the Life of Casey Anthony…..

    Casey Anthony was back in court and surprisingly Jose Baez was armed with more motions… I think that he is so unsure of himself that he is filing anything and everything he can to make sure he covers his own butt.

     Judge Strickland rules that the prosecution does not have to hand over certain evidence that the defense is requesting as they do not have it and the defense is supposed to request it. ( That was never done) Linda Baiden came off to me as knowledgeable but also as argumentative. I guess that is what good lawyers do. The prosecution was telling the judge that they have spoken with the FBI and all the defense has to do is submit a request for this information and they will receive it. Baiden opposed that stating that it is the prosecutions job to get it and give it to them.

     Baez sat almost smirking as Baiden argued back and forth with the prosecution and the judge. Casey: Well she looked demure in a purple shirt and cream cardigan. Not really her style I must say. She seemed to be vey interested in whatever documents she had in her papers in front of her, maybe she is writing her book.

     Brad Conway was successful in his attempt to block the suicide note from being released. George Anthony looked angry during the appearance, Cindy looked down the whole time. BUT no gum this time. Perhaps she read our blogs and took note of them…

     In all basically nothing major happened. Ricardo Morales’ computer showed nothing incriminating but the defense of course filed a motion for his test results run on his computer. I will note that there were alot of deletions done the day that they asked for his computer. I am sure that it was stuff he would like to keep private but I am sure the defense will see it otherwise.

     There was no ruling nor mention of the video jail house tape of Casey collapsing when she was notified about the remains…

CAN I FILE A MOTION FOR BEING ANNOYED BY THE ENTIRE ANTHONY CLAN?

     Twice now we have read written statements from Casey Anthony. She wants to be heard. The first one was the statement that she wanted Baez to read about what she wanted done regarding Caylee being buried. I’ve already posted my thoughts on that one so I won’t re live it.

     Now she has written that she believes that the prosecution is “mad” that she won’t accept a plea deal for a crime she did not commit. First of all here is a little information for Miss Casey: The people who prosecute those who commit horrific crimes do not do so based on their emotions. If that were the case I am sure you would have been gone long ago. They are here to uphold the law and seek justice for the victims. In this particular case that victim is your daughter. Her name is Caylee by the way incase you have forgotten.

     People have questioned whether or not Baez knew that she wrote that. Of course he did, he had to file it. I really do not understand what he thinks will be accomplished by that infantile statement. It is apparent he advises her as we all saw on the Zenaida questions that she had to answer. That answer came straight from Baez not Casey Anthony.

     Why is George so worried about his suicide note? I don’t believe it is about being embarrassed at all. If that were the case we wouldn’t have seen his face at all. What is it that he wrote in there? I am sure there are things pertaining to his thoughts and fears of what his daughter did to his grandchild. Is this why?

     Cindy Anthony has been on TV long enough to know that chewing gum like a cow is a big no no. She looked like some smart ass little kid smacking her gum the whole time in the courtroom. Funny, she has never been quiet through out this entire ordealand yet now she has nothing to say. Her look was enough to say it all. If looks could kill.

     Still not liking Lee Anthony. Nope. I watch and try to see some sign that he isn’t a pompus ass, but can’t find one.

     I am really leaning twoard the entire Anthony Family being charged in the end. There are too many things that just don’t add up. They or at least Cindy knew whre that baby was. Maybe not for as long as Casey but she knew something. I just don’t understand that if they as the family of Casey had nothing to hide why they would send their PI out there instead of the LE?

     If Lee Anthony stated that the Zenaida is definately not the Zenaida that Casey pointed out, then will the case be dismissed? Can she sue based only on the name? I know that Casey lied anyway but I was just wondering if they have a sworn statement that they were not implying that she was the “Nanny” then can the case go further?

     They need to seperate every one of them and interrogate them until they break. If they individually are cornered and know they are looking at charges I bet one of them will speak. I bet Cindy would throw the restof them under the bus to save herself.
